[Music] Hey guys, it’s George Flo Parks After Dark. Hey, we are here at Allstar Movies. As you can tell by the star, our favorite All-Star Resort, as you know, there are three. There are sports, music, and movies. This by far is the best. Let’s go in and find out why. All right, guys. We’re walking in right now. So, Allstar Movies, as you can tell, is themed after movies. So, each of the central lobby here has the arcade and it has the um food area and check-in. And this where the buses come for transportation. But around the outside, this all the out buildings. Now, the out buildings are kind of themed and we’ll talk about that, but this is the lobby. [Music] Yeah, it’s just really done well. So along back here where they have um they have their front desk, if you look back, they have the strips back there, the movie strips, and those are the the Disney shorts, the Mickey shorts. And along the way, kind of they have it all themed out with the big stars all around. Um I got to tell you, out of all three, I think this is the biggest and brightest. Kind of like lightwise, it’s brighter. It’s more roomy, spacious, not as condensed. But this back wall is amazing. So it makes feel a Hollywood preview. You’re walking red carpet. Paparazzi’s packing your pictures. Their store is called Double Feature. Maybe look up there. There’s one of Donald’s nephews. I couldn’t tell you who that is. I’m going to Huie. So in the store here, we’ll do a quick walk through. Really the Allstar stores as a whole. Merch stores are really done well. We’re very impressed with them. So, this is kind of their product of the Walt Disney World kind of compilation stuff. It has the bright colors and has a Fat Five. It’s just really done well. And then come around this way. They brought back in a lot of the Inside Out 2 stuff. Now, you remember this thing ran and disappeared in a minute. Well, they’re all back, which is fantastic. Toys. And then they have all the stuffy line which is really just really nice. Along this back wall they have all the kids clothes. And then they have and then they have um hats as you would expect with the goof hat which we have a number of those. They’re awesome. Now let’s go back and check out the mugs. Now we had heard rumor there’s a mug here. We got to see. So, what you have is you have all the mugs here, which are great. And there it is. So, here’s what we haven’t seen before. It is the Wall-E mug. Now, parks after dark are Wall-E fans. This we’ve never seen before, and we’ve been here too many times to count. The front’s Wall-E. They’re like, Eva, that’s so cool. It is the best mug ever. I can guarantee you one of my partners in crime wants that and we will be getting that at some point. Great poo mugs. They’re new as well. I haven’t seen those. Oh, and they got a Marie mug, which is the other partner crime’s favorite. So, really, they’re kind of up the game. So, we’ll go back to the other side real quick. This is kind of a quick overview for you guys. You have all your pins, jewelry, all those things. The pin collections here. I mean, right now, pin trading has taken on a life of its own at Disney. It has become an entire cult. I think people are just they love it. It’s just fantastic. And then there’s her Lounge Flies. I’ll tell you one Lounge Flies that really always caught my eye. Seen it one or two places, but it’s the black and white Mickey one. The zipper handles Mickey hand. He’s He’s making all kinds of faces. Let me zoom in real tight here. It’s just really a cute bag. You know, I haven’t seen it many places. And then they have their they have their spirit jerseys. This is all very adult stuff. The back side was the kids stuff. And then your Mickey shirts and all that kind of line at this place which is great. I’m pretty sure obviously there’s Stitch and then this this Fantasia vibe kind of theme stuff is coming out and we’re seeing a lot of it everywhere. So they got the shirts which are great. They got the baseball hat and the towel with the great ear. The most magical place on earth. That’s the theme but it’s wizard Mickey. So that’s kind of the store in a very very very blitz blow your hairbag way. We’re back out through the lobby. Now we come back this way. Behind us will be how you would get to um get to the buses. World premiere food court is here. Now I have to tell you and I mean this very very seriously. One of the things that makes Allstar movies the best resort is this food court. The food court is outstanding. And you would say, what makes it different? The food choices here are much different. They’re slightly elevated. The chicken caprice sandwich we had yesterday. It was amazing. The meatball hogi, which you can get here at Majestic, is named after movie theaters, is outstanding. Had that as well. Um, the offerings are for honestly for a value resort, they’re off the charts good. They had the full pork sandwich that was very good. Had that as well. But this I got to show you. We’re going through this kind of quick, but it just turned. They have a popcorn. Well, first off, that’s a great Mickey Mouse. Uh, Mickey brownie sundae. Let’s see if it comes up. There is a popcorn bucket. Give it a second. Ah, it’s not coming. We’ll get it later. The popcorn bucket they have here is crazy. It is probably the best thing ever. I’m waiting to see if it comes next. Hold on one second cuz that’s special cookie they have. And there it is. So there’s the popcorn bucket. The at the movies popcorn bucket. It has everything. Caramel popcorn. It has chocolate. It has cherries. It has caramel. It has It is the greatest dessert of all time. So with that being said, what’s also inside this food area are these. And these are really just very cute. They’ve taken Louis posters and they’ve turned them into caricatures of the Fab Five and and Mickey and all that. So there you have the Bungle Cruise, The Jungle Cruise, and that’s the movie that came out. It’s also a ride. And over here they have Minnie Poppins for of course Mary Poppins. And then you have not so scary mansion. The haunted mansion. And it just continues. The whole wall is just lined with these. It’s just very done very well. So we’re going to go out the side door here. Um and be able to go out the pool area. Want to show you that. It’s just it’s a great spot. So that’s the food top notch. Store topnotch. Lobby top notch. They have a outside pool bar. silver screen spirits. You can get you get drinks here, adult drinks here, or you can pop out here. And that’s what that looks like. [Music] So, if you haven’t noticed the theme, that’s outstanding. So, all right, here we go. So, the pool area is [Music] Fantasia themed. If you notice, Mickey is on a stage. The curtains kind of wrap around. And that’s that red are curtains. Um they actually have a framing inside that looks like it’s staged. It’s just done really well. Um so that’s the pool areas. That’s the central main pool. Now there’s a couple other little pools throughout. Pepper throughout. That’s your main pool. Show you this. So for the movies, what they have the areas, they have the 101 Dalmatians, Mighty Ducks, Fantasia, Herby Love Bug, which maybe you will not remember, but it’s very cool. Fantasia and Toy Story. Toy Story is, if I were to tell you, one of the nicest, neatest places to go. Theme probably the most rich. Toy Story. It is outstanding. Any of these really are great. I also do want to show you while we’re here. Those guys, that’s obviously Fra Fantasia. Let me zoom in a sec. Those are the brooms carrying the water from Wizard Mickey. When he has to put the water going and he’s carrying the water, he gets in to help him. They’re there are four stories tall. They are awesome. If you notice at the very top of them, and you might be able to tell, they have a lightning rod at top. So, they have a lightning suppression system on of all things. The broom. Yes. Now, right next to the pool, if you’re looking at the pool to the left of the pool is kind of where they have and and not to bore everybody, the laundry room and the lockers, but what they did just recently in this section, I’m going show you guys this. They just closed this section for an extended period of time. It just reopened not that long ago. So, this is brand newish. They open up a brand new splash pad. It was It was there before. It was really kind of beat up. Um, they freshened it up. It’s not a huge significant structural change, but it is much cleaner. Now, we’re not going to go in. Got a lot of little guys playing Peak. So, there’s a splash pad right here that’s swirly. It sprays water. Back is kind of a zero entry, like 1 ft pool. They have the glaciers here. And in the back there, they got some great sitting area for the adults to kind of crash. Now, this is late July in Orlando. It is not cool out by any stretch. It is warm. So, while we’re here, we’re 10 steps away from something I want to show you. We’re going to show you to our left. We’re going right. To our left is the 101 Dalmatians. To our right is that area I told you was probably the best theme. It’s Toy Story Land. And we’re going to go in real quick. I want to show you this just because it’s just off the charts. Great. I am a Toy Story fan. I don’t know how you all feel about Toy Story 5. We have a conversation later about that, but they have here right at the beginning. What covers the stairwells throughout all of sports are these oversized objects. This is a bucket of soldiers. For those who are young enough, remember the green soldier men. They’re coming out of the bucket and they line the top of the building. The building has sheriff badges there and they have rockets on this side. And you’ll know why sheriff’s to the right and rockets to the left in a second. And what we’re walking at, I’ll show you guys. Walking right at a door. This is Andrew Andy’s bedroom door. Now Andy is Woody and Buzz’s kind of boy who plays with him. The door is two and a half, three stories tall. It’s really cool. The door knob itself up. It’s probably 6 and 1/2 ft up. And there’s a sign. Andy’s room. Keep out. Except Molly. Molly’s a sister. Come in. First thing you’re going to see. Boom. There’s a fivestory bus. And you come around this way. There’s your Woody. What’s great is that they’ve done they put building blocks here to spell the name Woody and by the name Buzz. And it is awesome, man. The back part of this, what really carries the entire idea of being a bedroom is they have his bedroom window at the back of his room. How cool is that? They have a checkerboard, which by the way, you can’t play. They’re cement. And we come around, you got Rex hiding in the bushes. Now Rex was gone for a while and they brought him back. And then you have Bo Peep. It’s the little things Disney does. If you look at Rex’s neck, it looks like it turns. The toy will turn. His arms turn. It did just a great job. They just brought these back in. For a while there, it was an empty spot. Really was pretty sad, but they’re back now. So, that’s Toy Story. I love this land. It’s the best. This little car here, we walk by it. You all know that that’s And I forget his name. And right now, my partners in crime are screaming at the TV telling me his name, but he’s here to kind of come in. It’s pretty cool. So, we’re walking back towards the main lobby. So, guys, listen. Allstar resorts. All three of these are really they’re value resorts. You can get them for under 150 bucks easily almost any night. We were seeing nights next mid August like 119. So, for a resident rate, your passholder there’s rates. So, it’s you can get in here very reasonably. And you also remember if you get a room at any of the All Stars, you get free water park access, day of admission, day check in, sorry. And you get early access to the parks. It’s It kind of pays for itself in about a minute. But this is a fantastic set. the the the value you get with what you have here and the theming being this high-end is a great opp option to do, especially now we’re all watching our Disney dollars because it’s just a great spot. We’re telling you this is the one you want to go to. as they had the big gigantic star right by the pool and we walking underneath that star to go back to the lobby.
