The ship coming over now This small ship This should be the “Rice noodle boat” we are waiting for. I want noodles, do you have any recommended toppings? -Barbecued pork, wontons, intestines, fish balls, pork tripe, chicken wings, etc. Do you have duck legs? – No more now, sold out The duck legs are sold out Are there many diners now? – Now rarely Are they all young people? – There are elderly people Young and old Hello everyone, I am Momo (毛毛) We are now in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong I’ll take you to eat today. “Boat Noodles” is also rare in Hong Kong But before you “eat noodles”, check out the hotel first GoGoGo This is the room we’re staying in tonight. Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel Why do you live in Tuen Mun? Because of its price, it’s cheap Check in now This is the exterior of the hotel Quite large in scale This hotel was built over decades. It can be kept like this, so it is quite new. Last renovation According to records, it was in 2016 These information are all found on the booking platform Now go in and take a look This is the lobby environment. On the left is the check-in counter Quite busy. This hotel shows after 3pm You can check in You need to check out before 11am Less than 24 hours Look at the other side of the lobby There is a very large fountain And feel the strong cold air of Hong Kong Very cool No special scent Like no taste Decorated with many flowers But it seems to be plastic flowers Decorated with a lot of “light strips”, it looks very beautiful Overall impression and “Hong Kong Mong Kok” Or the hotels in Kowloon are different This room is very large Looks very comfortable The room rate on that day was not expensive Now go directly to Trip.com The room rate per night is HK$962, excluding tax. After tax, it is more than HK$1,000 “Deluxe Sea View King Room” 35 square meters For a hotel in Hong Kong, this is a very large room. There are many restaurants in the lobby And the bar, with many people sitting The floor is also high We are now on the 16th floor of the digital The highest is digital 18 floors They said they arranged a room on a high floor with a good view. let me see This is the room I’m staying at tonight. View Room The main door faces the bathroom Bathtub Quite big Not a smart toilet No remote control buttons Have a phone What supplies are provided? Disposable toothpaste and toothbrush are provided I saw in the news that “the hotel does not provide disposable items” There are cups and towels This is the bathroom environment. Let’s go see the room. Sleeping Place This room is 35 square meters. The sleeping area is like this One large bed There are sockets on both sides of the bed All are British three-pin sockets The left side has a converter added Can be charged directly via USB port There is a small wardrobe There is a fan and a safe inside The bed looks ordinary. But the view outside the window is beautiful It is an unbeatable sea view Very beautiful, with many yachts docked Thinking of going on a yacht More than just sea views The plane will be in the position of the white clouds Flying slowly Very interesting But this room I found the problem The central air conditioner has obvious noise Sleep-sensitive audience Recommend avoiding this hotel Facing the bed That is the position of the “end of the bed” There is a TV cabinet and a desk. and disposable slippers The hair dryer is also here More than just slippers There’s a cabinet here. There is a spare pillow inside Look at the cabinet next to the door Domestic hotels will place bottled water here This hotel does not provide bottled water. Still a British plug There is a kettle There are cups in the cabinet Coffee, tea bags, bottle opener Refrigerator Very cold Hong Kong’s refrigerators are amazing Can ice cola Okay, the room introduction is over. Reveal Price Our room rate for one night is HK$112 The price is after tax Why is it so cheap? Because I booked it through Trip.com This is not an ad I didn’t take the Trip money. It’s just that Trip has a lot of similar flash sales. We now introduce the hotel Let’s go find something to eat. GoGoGo Have you ever tried “Boat Noodles”? The hotel’s elevator is a sightseeing elevator There are large windows with beautiful sea views. We are now on the first floor The hotel’s public facilities are concentrated on three floors. They are the first floor, lobby and basement floor. Now we look down That is the pavilion I introduced before. The landscaping is luxurious No matter which floor There are such direct drinking water machines Bring a water bottle and drink as much as you want Many families come here with their children for vacation So there are a lot of exciting footsteps Ground floor The first thing I saw was the children’s playground. It should be “Adventure Island” There are facilities for playing with sand There are water activities here This is the watering area. I’m excited to go play in the water. But first I want to introduce the hotel environment to you Awesome The dressing room is on the left. The pool area is for guests only You need to measure your height and register before entering Registration is complete, you can enter Lifeguards are available at the pool area It is safe Great, there is a slide The whole area is huge There is plenty of greenery You can also see the plane landing The whole environment is like this Feel like a vacation It’s really great to play in the water Open until 7pm If you want to play in the water, hurry up. Very cool Now let me introduce the swimming pool There are other recreational facilities For guests only You need to contact staff when using There is a table football machine Enter the gym Yoga mats are placed at the door. The equipment is richer than that of hotels in mainland China. Once you enter the gym , keep quiet Avoid disturbing others After introducing the gym The highlight is the beautiful scenery Complete facilities But there is not much space Continue exploring other areas This is Shark Adventure Island It is a play area for children There are many business hours MapleStory is charged separately Guests are charged HKD 80/75 minutes Non-resident guests are charged HKD 160/75 minutes No detailed introduction There are many different leisure areas in the hotel This area is well laid out A casual feeling Keep exploring The hotel is large I saw it from the room There is a riverside promenade along the coast I want to find that way There are many bunny decorations There is also chess decoration No mosquito bites here. I can walk here with confidence. No bite We turn right Very quiet This hotel has been open since 1993. It’s been more than 30 years But well maintained This is the coastal path I’m looking for. Pretty, huh? You can see the scenery more closely Yacht view The water texture is beautiful Especially when it’s calm Yacht passing by It will create beautiful ripples You can see planes passing by. There are birds foraging here Very freehand The noise from the plane is not that loud I think the noise from the central air conditioner in the room is more obvious Keep exploring The interior of the hotel has been explored We return to the water sports area On the right you can quickly access the outdoors The prerequisite is to have a room card Otherwise you will not be able to enter the hotel Let’s go out After going out It is a large area of beach scenery Can watch planes landing great It’s so relaxing to listen to the sound of the waves Not crowded Not many people It is like this Feels like a vacation The scenery is beautiful This hotel is really great value Go here Recreational facilities available Locals do exercise here Many people sunbathe on the beach very nice I like this attitude towards health We are now walking along this path Very comfortable, can see the big plane Very clear When you walk here, you can see the mountains across the sea. Beautiful view There are stairs to go down This is a rocky beach. Different from the beach Such Very comfortable This beach has fewer people Go to the end The golden dolphin statue The occupancy rate of the “housing village” ahead seems to be not very good But there are many people running here In fitness and sports Fishing is prohibited here. that’s all The exploration terminal is this golden dolphin sculpture Now let’s go eat “Boat Noodles” I was going to eat “Boat Noodles” I ended up exploring the hotel. Excuse me The “Boat Noodles” is about to close Let’s go GoGoGo The “Boat Noodles” we want to eat The “Seaside Promenade” at “San Sheng Village Qingshan Bay” Let’s go eat noodles GoGoGo We are now here The “Seaside Promenade” of “San Sheng Village Qingshan Bay” There are two horse sculptures here. So they are called “Two Horsemen” It’s the “connection code” Remember these two horse sculptures. One red, one blue “I want a bowl of noodles” We are now at the “Two Horsemen” OK, see you later. Okay, I’m done with the call. This phone number is public information The pier next to the horse sculpture There are stairs, you can walk down to “get fans” Very interesting Then wait here until it comes. Is this the ship in front? Guess There are a lot of ships here. This is the seafood port. They are all fishing boats Not a large cargo ship at a cargo terminal Hong Kong Sea Much cleaner than the “Pearl River in Guangzhou” Only branches and leaves are standing and fluttering The water quality of the Pearl River is not very good recently The boat is approaching. But the direction is wrong Probably not Where is the “pink”? It’s so interesting. Still waiting for fans at the beach But today the temperature is higher Recommended for experience Choose autumn, or a less hot day Lest you wait and get heat stroke Then during this time of “waiting for fans” Let me introduce you to “Boat Noodles” “Boat Noodles” It is a living fossil of Hong Kong’s water-based food culture. In the 1920s to the 1980s This was the heyday of Hong Kong’s fishing industry. The Typhoon Shelter is where fishing boats gather. Fishermen spend long hours at sea Want to eat hot food So the “water vendor” industry was born Mainly sells noodles and pasta Like a noodle shop on the water That’s why it’s called a “Rice noodle boat” What I am waiting for is the “Rice noodle boat” Maybe, because Hong Kong fishermen Facing fish all day So I prefer to eat the “barbecue” on the shore For example, “barbecued pork”, “roast duck”, etc. Moreover, “shao mei” is easier to preserve. Not easy to deteriorate Therefore, the meat of “Boat Noodles” Mainly based on “roasted” There are also wontons, etc. In fact, our Guangzhou There is also a similar “Boat Porridge” However, it is sold on the Pearl River. And now it’s gone When I was in primary school I have tasted the real “boat porridge” In addition to “barbecued pork” and “roast goose”, There are also a lot of seafood For example, “fish fillet”, “shrimp” and “squid” There are also “shredded eggs”, “peanuts”, and “fried dough sticks” Talking, I got off topic again. Let’s continue talking about “Boat Noodles” Later, the Hong Kong government stopped issuing “mobile cooked food licenses” So there are fewer and fewer “Rice noodle boats” In addition, the “land reclamation project” was later carried out Fewer berths for fishing boats Many fishermen have gone ashore and changed their jobs. Rice noodle boats are even harder to make. And now it has become a “nostalgic snack” in Hong Kong. I doubt Many young people in Hong Kong Maybe you have never eaten “Boat Noodles” The ship coming over now This small ship This should be the “Rice noodle boat” we are waiting for. The boat is not big There are tall buildings in the distance There are many ships docked in the bay This is the “Rice noodle boat” we are waiting for. There are a lot of things on the boat. – You want pho or something? I want noodles, do you have any recommended toppings? -Barbecued pork, wontons, intestines, fish balls, pork tripe, chicken wings, etc. Do you have duck legs? – No more now, sold out The duck legs are sold out You can choose “Yan Mian” instead of “Horse Vermicelli ” I want wontons and chicken wings. and “Barbecued Pork” – Barbecued pork Yes Barbecued pork and wonton -Wonton Are there many diners now? – Now rarely Are they all young people? – There are elderly people Young and old Opening hours are – Open at 11:00 am Open at 11:00 noon – Ends at 3 p.m. Ends at 3 p.m. Uncle is responsible for the ingredients and cooking The operating space is very small Only the small area in the middle Auntie’s phone is very retro, it’s a foldable phone There are lots of drinks on board. This is “BBQ pork” “Cut on order” – We closed the shop at 3pm – Almost all sold out A customer called to make a reservation -Next year -Next year please come early Please come early next year Uncle is very funny and humorous Not tomorrow, please come early But please come early next year – See you some other time. Many people have found you. Will there be fewer diners in summer? – If you come, I will be embarrassed when I finish my work Yes – And I don’t sell a lot of stuff Yes -No need to delay others Yes – I’m here, but it’s meaningless if I don’t have anything to sell. Yes – He just called and said -He said that by 3pm, the rice noodles were almost sold out Pink is almost sold out How many bowls do you sell in a day? – No exact amount – I’ll close the shop once they’re sold out. It’s sold out. Very casual It’s fate that I can buy it – I’m several decades old. That’s true. And the weather is hot now -We are all old. -Not selling so many anymore, few ships Yes, thank you, bye. – Tie it up. Thank you, bye Happy to get “Boat Powder” goodbye This boat is the Rice noodle boat. Very interesting, right? Because there are few people doing this business. So please call ahead to make an appointment We put the phone number in the top message This is what “human touch” means. And uncle is funny. Found a place to eat The HK$35 noodles were bought from the noodle boat. The serving size is this I ordered “Barbecued Pork” Chicken wings, wontons This is what “barbecued pork” is like Although it looks reddish orange But it didn’t fade even after soaking in the soup Not a very technological product The chicken wings are big. Cut into three pieces Each piece is huge The color does not fade even when soaked in soup Not very technological There is also “wonton” The wontons are big Exaggeratedly large Bigger than chicken wings I want noodles You can also choose “Oil Noodles ” With a lot of vegetables If you don’t like onions, ask for “no onions” The default is onion. I don’t know the price. Because the whole communication process is very fast Have time to chat But there is no time to slowly select materials And you need to speak in a louder voice I was at least two or three meters away from the store. But the whole process is interesting Comes with two pairs of chopsticks Because there are two of us There is soup, but no spoon Not afraid Because I’m coming to Hong Kong So I brought a bowl, chopsticks, spoon, straw I will try the soup later Try “Powder” now I want noodles You can also choose “Oil Noodles ” Very hot The clear soup base is not rich in flavor Try the Barbecued Pork The “barbecued pork” tastes good But not very good Mainly “feelings” But the portion is quite sufficient Adults can eat this bowl of noodles as lunch and feel full My personal spoon This soup is really light. Only salty taste, no other taste It feels healthier Try the chicken wings The chicken wings are stewed until tender But just ordinary Mainly “feelings” The ingredients are stewed until soft Convenient to eat It can be eaten by both the old and the young. Try the wonton Aunt and uncle also said Their customers We are not the only ones There are fresh young people and old people too. But you need to be familiar with the roads to find them. You need to call to make an appointment and meet at the pier Very interesting The wontons are big But the appearance is very casual See “Goldfish Tail” It’s quite confusing Taste ordinary Recommend other ingredients The filling tastes rough and salty Not good looking either It’s a very ordinary wonton There are shrimps in the wonton And it’s “Shrimp” Probably homemade The taste is not like “dried shrimp” But not fresh shrimp. In between The taste is dry but not dry Self-made is not surprising After all, they operate on the sea. But the wonton tastes ordinary It’s more cost-effective to choose other meats The price of the “dish rice” here Most of them are around HK$50 Noodles and rice noodles cost more than HK$50 So it costs more than 30 Hong Kong dollars It’s a good deal to have a meal here And it’s fun The communication process was pleasant Next to the “Seaside Promenade” It is the famous “San Sheng Village” seafood market There are many seafood stalls Seafood on display The most vigorous and largest ones will be placed on the outside. Many Hong Kong families came for dinner Invite a group of relatives and friends to choose seafood together It is very enjoyable to choose by looking at the real thing Check out the seafood prices in Hong Kong “Australian Lobster” HK$250 “Local Lobster” HK$150 Seafood is big and good The clams are very large All are “King of Razor Clams” Taishan Oysters Australian Slipper Shrimp Lots of goods There are many shops along the street. This one doesn’t look suitable, you can look at the next one But now is the fishing season So I think seafood is expensive. Like the lobster I saw just now for HK$150 That size And types, purchased in the Mainland It is CNY¥110 So we introduce this to you But this time I won’t eat seafood here. The mantis shrimp is delicious It is very popular in Malaysia Make wet or dry butter, both are delicious I haven’t eaten there for a long time. These are all seafood shops. Not responsible for processing Across the road, there are many processing shops I’ll show you there later. Now let’s look at seafood The seafood is very fresh The shrimps are big Lots of shellfish, crabs, shrimp San Sheng Village is famous for its seafood See this stall It’s almost the end. Next to it is the “Hai Tian Garden Restaurant” Can process seafood You can also order seafood dishes directly Other processing shops Across the road You will first see a beautiful wall painting This building is a parking lot But I think the wall paintings of Hong Kong buildings Very beautiful and new This wall painting Is the painter the famous “Chiikawa”? White cute creature Beautifully painted The color is new No one scribbles. I think it looks good Walk in from here You can see other seafood processing shops in front. Good public facilities There are many restrooms Graffiti painted outside There is a processing restaurant called “Mushroom Pavilion” here In addition to bringing your own seafood for processing You can also order food directly The price of the special meal is Each is HK$50 “Steak and Rice” HK$60+ A bowl of “soup” is provided There are also powder and noodle HK$55/piece See seafood processing prices Price list for processing your own seafood A pound in Hong Kong is 600 grams A pound in mainland China is 500 grams. “Boiled” is HK$64/600g The more complicated processing method of lobster Charges above HK$100/600g Other shrimp and snail processing fees HKD 88/600g The most famous dish of “Sansheng Village” is “Spicy Wine Snail” But many viewers left messages saying It is not recommended to eat “spicy wine snails” See Shellfish “Strips” HK$15/piece Geoduck clam HK$15/piece Scallops are also charged per piece I think the processing fee of this shop is a bit expensive Don’t worry, there are still many processing shops We tried to find a cheap I think Temporarily feel The processing fee here It is several times more expensive than the one in Guangzhou Huangsha Market. When we introduced the Huangsha Seafood Market A viewer left a message saying “It’s very expensive. The processing fee is much higher than that in Hong Kong.” Really What I just saw is not cheap. Maybe I haven’t found the cheap one yet. This is a big “housing village” “San Sheng Village” This small pavilion shaped like a “mushroom pavilion” Many neighbors sit and rest Because it is close to the sea So the wind blowing here is very cool Shops here Even the stationery shop also has a part-time job repairing fishing nets Selling fishing line Many fishery-related shops Here, there are many processing points. The one on the left is “Xing Ji” Actually, is this kind of pavilion a “Mushroom Pavilion”? I look at the information I think they look alike But there is only one shop operating these More people visit The price may be more affordable But I couldn’t find the price list This is Nan Kee The environment is like this There is a “Lunch Special” of HK$52 But I’m more concerned about It is a processing fee This is the price list of processing fees “Bring your own seafood” HK$64/600g Lobster processing fee Also more than HK$100/600g Clams and scallops are also charged per piece. Much cheaper than the previous one So more diners Proved A viewer said before that “the processing fee in Hong Kong is cheaper than in Guangzhou” It might be true I just haven’t met it yet I’ll take a look There are also many processing restaurants here Check the price “Lunch Special” HK$55/portion Processing fee for bringing your own seafood: HK$75/600g More expensive than the previous two. Hong Kong’s “Dish of Rice” It seems to be more than 50 Hong Kong dollars Continue watching “Celebrate the return of Hong Kong with a HK$5 discount” Very interesting This is the restaurant’s kitchen. There are also posted prices “Dish of Rice” starting from HK$48 A free soup will be provided This one is relatively cheap There are also discounts for “Celebrating Return” Although the discount is only HK$5 You must pay with a Leyou Card to enjoy the discount. There are many lovely murals “Transformation and Deliverance” I don’t know what it means You can dive here The environment is better than inland areas The “Electricity Room” also painted a mural The painting is about fisheries. “Going out to sea for fishing” Sunrise at sea, leisurely boat trip scene Very interesting Hong Kong’s ecological environment is great Look at this bird Will prey on marine fish Its wings are blue The blue color on it is very eye-catching Right in the middle of the screen Big mouth The proportions of the head and body are a bit weird Very interesting This video ends here Like my video Please follow this channel Click Like and share See you next time~bye

Hong Kong Sam Shing Estate
A public housing estate in Tuen Mun New Territories bordering Castle Peak Bay.
Completed and occupied in 1980 it is one of the earliest public estates in the district.
It comprises twin-tower blocks over twenty storeys such as HIM YUEN and MOON YUEN typical of Hong Kong public housing design.
The name comes from the nearby Sam Shing Temple.
Hong Kong Sampan Congee
Also known as boat congee or sampan rice-noodle soup it originated as a traditional fishing-port dish among the Tanka boat people.
In the nineteenth century Hong Kong’s typhoon shelters were crowded with Tanka living on their boats. Small sampans threaded the harbour hawking bowls made from the day’s fresh catch simmered into broth with hand-cut rice noodles providing cheap filling meals for fishermen and dock workers.
From the 1980s reclamation and the decline of fishing shrank the waterborne community.
In the 2020s Hong Kong cultural groups listed sampan congee as endangered culinary heritage and began documenting its craft.
Sam Shing Hui (Sam Shing Seafood Street):
Sam Shing Hui is a small fishing village in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong. It is located on the southeast coast of Castle Peak Bay, between Tseng Tau Village and So Kwun Wat Village. The Sam Shing Hui Seafood Market there is one of the famous seafood markets in Hong Kong.
The original name of Sam Shing Hui was Castle Peak Bay. Later, it was named after the Sam Shing Temple built on the hillside next to the village. There stands a huge stone next to the temple. There is an inscription in front of the stone that reads “Before reclamation, the coastline was located, and this stone was the boundary.” This is exactly the symbol of the Tuen Mun coastline in the past. The residents in the village are mainly Tanka people and Hakka. By the early 1950s, due to the increasing number of immigrants from the mainland, many huts had been built on the hillside, and the residents built huts on the beach. The coastal area gradually developed into a market.
By 1976, the Hong Kong government developed the Tuen Mun New Town. A large number of huts in Sam Shing Village were demolished, and Sam Shing Village was built after reclamation. Many private residences were also built nearby from the 1980s to the early 1990s.
Sam Shing Market is close to Castle Peak Bay Typhoon Shelter. The current “Sam Shing Seafood Street” is one of the famous seafood markets in Hong Kong, with about 10 seafood stalls of various sizes.

Seafood delights and stunning views make perfect getaway! 🦐🏨🌊
Thank you 😅
