【納車＆車内紹介】フルDIY！ 53歳主婦のための軽バン、完成しました
This time, I’ll be introducing the interior of my new camper van. I shared the exterior in the previous video. I’d be happy if you’d watch that one too. Please take a look at the front seats first. We installed leather-style seat covers that give it a retro feel. I really love the realistic leather texture and color. But… Normally, the upper and lower parts are fastened with Velcro. However, they won’t stick together. We accidentally bought seat covers for a different model year. It would be a waste to buy new ones, so we decided to use these. We used plastic strings to fix them forcefully… Lol The blue string is only noticeable when I recline the seat. I’ll try using them as is. The previous car required manual window operation. This car has power windows in the front seats only. The manual window operation is useful when the engine is off. But power windows are definitely easier to open and close. This is a cargo area. Apply sound-deadening sheets to the ceiling, sides, and floor. Next, cover them with heat insulation sheets. Perform the same procedure on the floor. Make a base for planking the ceiling. Nail planks to the genuine stays. Secure them to the ceiling. Paint the boards. I love this natural color. We used the same color wood for the interior of my previous car. To further reduce weight, we chose cedar for the wood material. Embed LED lights into the ceiling panels. Apply insulation material to the back of the boards with embedded lights. This insulation material is for residential use. This is how the color looks in natural light. Liftgate. Similar to the ceiling and walls, it’s cedar paneling. The color was also matched to the ceiling. We added a switch to the door. We can open the door from inside the car. From here, it’s the toughest job: Installing the 12V DC air conditioner (cooling only). We installed it so that it can be used with a 100V power supply. The outdoor unit was installed here. My husband was working on it through trial and error. The electrical equipment, including an alternator charger, was installed under the floor. In this state, the power seems to last only about two hours. However, once the room temperature stabilizes, the output decreases. I plan to test how long it can actually be used once I go on a trip. Power can be supplied from an external source. This is the outlet for using external power. The sound from the outdoor unit is louder than I expected. Is there a good way to reduce the noise? I pulled the air conditioner drain hose out here. This is the overhead console. Paint black to match the interior. The IH heater, cassette stove, and sunshade are stored here. We chose black curtain rails. We installed a flexible curtain rail here. We reused the curtains from my previous car. The length of the curtains has been adjusted to fit the car windows. Magnets are sewn into the edges of the curtains. This allows us to maintain privacy inside the car. This time, the only thing I made was the curtain tassels. I made them from stitch tape and snaps I bought at a 100-yen store. All I had to do was punch holes and attach the snaps. It’s such a simple process. They don’t easily slip, and they match the curtain color perfectly. The liftgate pull handle was originally black. I made a new one using the same material as the curtain tassels. And also here! I believe that adding a tag makes anything look cute. Don’t you think the tag makes this bag look even cuter? Lol The knobs of the storage lids are also smaller versions of the same type. These prevent my fingers from getting caught when closing the lid. The table and sink area are slightly refurbished from the previous car. The appearance is almost unchanged from the previous one. We resize and reuse this board. By displaying these here instead of storing them, we save on storage space. These won’t fall off even while driving. We framed the board with wood. I like it. I love Hawaii. I decorated with some Hawaiian goods. This spot is exactly the same as before. I keep tableware in a basket. We replaced the sink. Previously, it was a handmade sink using a bowl. This time, it is a small, ready-made product. This is a 10-liter drainage tank. The water supply comes from two 2-liter plastic bottles. These save space and are easy to replace. Make a hole in the cap, pass a tube through it, and suck up water with a pump. Even if the bottle is replaced, the cap will continue to be used as is. I put them in a linen bag to keep the look tidy. A problem occurred. Water does not drain. Oh my goodness… What should I do? I spilled oil and seasonings on the sofa so many times. I bought the same sofa that I had in my previous car. It’s a reclining sofa. I can change its shape and relax like this. This is a side table. I can enjoy meals or tea while looking at the scenery. This is what it looks like when the sofa is moved. The underfloor storage has dividers. I can organize various items according to their purpose. We plan to install an FF heater here by winter. The refrigerator is installed here. It’s a bit inconvenient to use. There’s a reason I intentionally put it under the floor. I wanted this small entrance space. Until now, it was very inconvenient not to have an entrance area. On the opposite side, there’s an extended battery for the air conditioner. When this is not needed, this space can be used for storage. These frames slide. They make maintenance around the engine easier. As with the previous car, a roll screen was installed. The ceiling here is curved, so the screen cannot be installed directly. He made wooden stays. Initially, my husband suggested tying the screen to a plastic tension rod. I said, “A tension rod? No. It doesn’t look cool.” …He reluctantly accepted my opinion. Lol The screen becomes a quick privacy screen. It can also be used as a projector screen. I can spend a more relaxed time inside the car. How did you like the new interior of my car? If we find any areas that need improvement, we will fix them. I want to be able to use this car not only for solo trips but also for family trips. I can’t wait to go on a trip with my new buddy! 素晴らしいDIYですね！
エアコンを取り付けられたとのことで驚きました。しかも100Vに対応されたのは、とても実用的で素晴らしいポイントだと思います。
12Vエアコンの場合、12Vで80Aを取り出すのはポータブル電源では難しいですし、サブバッテリー経由だとRVパークの電源を直接活用できないのが悩みどころですよね。外部電源から600W程度でサブバッテリーに充電する構成だと、エアコンの消費電力のほうが大きくて、結局サブバッテリーが減ってしまう…というのは本当にあるあるです。その点、100V対応はとても理にかなっていると思います。
また、シンクの給水タンクにペットボトルを活用されているのもナイスアイデアですね！排水タンクは大容量（15L以上？）になっていて、使い勝手が良さそうです。
給水側を小容量のペットボトルにすることで、水の入れ替えもしやすく、長期の旅でも新鮮な水を確保しやすいのはとても魅力的だと思います。
さらに、床下収納が用途に応じてしっかり区切られているのも素晴らしい工夫ですね。実用性が高く、旅先でもすぐに取り出せて使いやすそうです。

とにかく釣りの荷物が多く かつ寝るためのスペースの確保に苦戦しました(笑)

ホンマに不便ですが荷物優先なので諦めてます(笑)

ご主人の技術とにぴきさんのセンスが光る内装になりましたね。温もりある木材に見慣れた色のソファと、一見あまり変化がないようで、あちらこちらに工夫がされてますね。
クーラーやヒーターも大事だけれど、靴を脱ぐスペースの確保の重要性も雨の日には特に感じますよね。
最後にスクリーンに映ったラオちゃんを見るにぴきさんの姿に目頭が熱くなってしまいました。
これからはキャンプ場で過ごす姿も見られるかもしれませんね。
