世界22都市で公演してきた久石譲さんのジブリコンサート8年間の集大成|ツアーファイナルレポート
The Joe Hisaishi Studio Ghibli Film Concerts, which have been performed in 22 cities around the world since 2017. The tour finale was held at Tokyo Dome. The dates are July 16th and 17th.Total of 3 shows. I went to the first day of the show. I will report on this concert and talk about my love for Joe Hisaishi and Ghibli’s works. I will be bringing you along with the daily footage because I don’t have enough material for a video. I was blessed because I was able to see the 2022 and 2024 New York shows of this tour, This will be my third time at this concert. The first time was the first time in my life to see Hisaishi’s live performance in front of me, I remember I was so excited and just overwhelmed with emotion. I think I was a little more calm and collected the second time. Still, I was left impressed by the excellence of each song and performance. The third time was no less impressive. Even from the previous concert to this day, I saw many Ghibli works and heard music I repeatedly reminisced about the concert. The production and performers this time were different from the New York concert, I was impressed again in a fresh way. The orchestra was composers-in-association last spring, Hisaishi-san. Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of the United Kingdom, which he has been appointed to. The mandolinist in “The Wind Rises,” the sopranista in “Princess Mononoke” and “Ponyo on the Cliff.” And in “Spirited Away”, she was on stage with her daughter, Mai, who is a singer. In “Laputa: Castle in the Sky,” he performed with the music band of the Japan Self-Defense Forces on land, sea, and air. The performance used a large part of the venue. Also, for the encore, there was a performance that had never been staged before. Ask me why“ from ”How Do You Live?” was performed. Probably the first performance.I couldn’t help but burst into tears because I’ve been wanting to hear it for so long… It looks like there will be a concert on July 24th and 25th that will include the songs from “How Do You Live?”.., I was even more impressed by the kindness to entertain us a little bit here. At the end of the concert, gold and silver tape danced around the dome for the finale. I did not buy any goods this time, I have a brochure for the New York show in 2022. Over 30,000 attendees in 5 days. Two years later, 60,000 people attended. The Tokyo Dome is expected to draw 150,000 people for three shows. Two years ago, this “Can you make an impression?”written by Mr. Hisaishi in 2006. I have decided one motto in my mind. To cherish “serendipity.” serendipity・・・encountering unexpected good fortune by chance. Something that tugs at your heartstrings or just happens to jump out at you. I take it into myself and cherish it.In this way, you expand your creativity. Every time I come in contact with Hisaishi’s Ghibli music, I receive kindness and courage. I can truly enjoy life again from today. I wish I could bring you a video that could make you feel like that too, even if only a little. I will continue to release videos about Ghibli.
