意外なご当地グルメが多めの恐竜王国・福井グルメ旅!福井名物が食べ放題のランチビュッフェ、地元の人おすすめのスイーツ店など〜

Hello, this is Tabibubu Today, we are heading to Fukui Prefecture, one of the three Hokuriku prefectures! In fact, Fukui Prefecture has many famous foods, making it the perfect place for a gourmet trip! Please enjoy until the end (^o^) Arrived at Fukui Station! I can hear some dinosaurs roaring… Lots of dinosaur robots! As expected from “Dinosaur Kingdom Fukui” The kids are excited too Let’s start by looking inside the station There’s even a dinosaur made out of Lego! Fukui Station has been renovated with the opening of the Shinkansen! It’s very beautiful It seems that a new commercial facility called “Kurufu” has opened, so let’s go in There are many souvenir shops lined up inside Cute pancakes made with Fukui’s specialty “Habutae mochi” When you think of Fukui, you think of crab! There is also “Echizen crab rice”! There are many dishes you’ll want to eat on the Shinkansen, such as mackerel sushi and sauce cutlet rice bowls! “Echizen Macaroons” with Habutae Mochi are a little pricey but look delicious! Now, let’s have lunch at “Hapirin” right next to Fukui Station There were dinosaurs on the way to Hapirin… Let’s move to the second floor for now Today’s lunch The shop is inside this souvenir shop We will have a “lunch buffet” at this shop The shop opens at 11:00, but you can take reservations from 10:30 The lunch buffet includes all-you-can-eat Fukui specialties such as “sauce cutlet” and “Echizen oroshi soba”! While waiting, I decided to check out the souvenirs at Fukufukukan… I can’t go wrong with the “Habutae Mochi” They also sold sauce for the “Sauce Katsudon” And grated daikon soba! I love it so much I bought three for home! It’s almost 11 o’clock! There’s already a line in front of the shop By the way, the lunch buffet is (¥1,480)! Extremely reasonable… Let’s take a look at the buffet table! First, the white rice “Ichihomare” rice from Fukui Prefecture is used. Mountain vegetable rice Fukui specialty “Echizen oroshi soba” Large Grated root, green onion, bonito flakes, soup Chicken Nanban, simmered komatsuna Grilled salted mackerel, yangnyeom chicken Stir-fried vegetables, sweet and spicy konjac Fried chicken Fukui salmon pasta Kimpira burdock Eggplant and small sardine stir-fry Dashimaki Kita Tamago Fukui specialty “Fillet cutlet with sauce” Corn croquettes, fried white fish Kakiage, fried squid legs Chicken Nanban, grilled lemon pepper chicken thighs, grilled mackerel Miso soup Chicken and spinach salad Vermicelli salad, tomato salad Chinese cucumber, shrimp and broccoli salad Daigakuimo Okra ohitashi, pickled oha Wheat gluten with mustard, boiled beans Stewed pickled radish, stewed bracken First, the husband’s choice And the wife’s choice Let’s start with the vegetables I’m happy to have so many plump shrimp in my salad Next is grated daikon soba… the thick noodles are chewy and chewy The grated daikon radish, green onions, and bonito flakes give it a refreshing taste, perfect for the hot summer! Next is pork fillet cutlet with sauce! It’s quite thick The fillet is soft and delicious even when cooled! The sweet sauce is also nice. The corn croquette is filled with corn. It’s sweet enough that kids will love it. Next is fried squid legs. This is also delicious. And yangnyeom chicken! It’s not a Fukui specialty, but I’ve been hooked on it lately, so I’m happy. The chicken is moist, and the sweet and spicy sauce goes perfectly with the thin batter! This is definitely something I’ll be buying again My husband asked for a second helping Personally, this grated daikon soba was the most delicious And my wife asked for a second helping too The bouncy konnyaku was well flavored And then there was the kakiage There was salmon inside! It was so delicious This is the last refill They had some freshly fried “sauce fillet cutlet” so I got some! When it’s freshly fried, the meat is even softer and tastier!! Thank you for the meal Next, it’s time for dessert This shop is famous for its “karinto manju”… The shop is pretty crowded…as expected from a popular shop! And there it was! The very popular “Karintou Manju” They also sell Karintou Manju as souvenirs And there’s an eat-in space at the back of the store There’s also a corner where you can try cold tea and Karintou Manju! Let’s have a bite! Delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and a crispy texture! I’m happy that I can also have tea👍🏻 I ended up buying a Karinto bun! Next, I went to this shop that is famous for its “anko bread”! I immediately found the “anko bread”! There are two types, tsubuan and smoothan, and limited-edition Okinawan purple sweet potato Unfortunately, the “cream cheese anko bread” is sold out! I wanted to eat it (´・ω・`) And this is also one of the specialty of the shop, “Exquisite Anpan”! The dough is really thin and the bean paste is heavy There was also an anpan made with Fukui’s specialty “Habutae mochi” The refrigerated section! The only “nama toro” they had in stock was frozen, so I bought the frozen one! There’s no eat-in space, so you’ll have to go back to the inn Now, let’s eat the bread we bought! First up, this! The shop’s signature product is the “An Shokupan” (sweet bean paste bread). Custard cream anpan, the finest anpan The finest anpan is quite heavy. Salted bean paste butter roll, fresh toro (frozen) And the karinto manju! Let’s eat Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside! The bean paste is just the right amount of sweet The best bean paste bun! It’s really heavy with bean paste! I thought it might be too sweet because there was too much bean paste… but it was just the right amount of sweetness and it was delicious! The bean paste bread is also very heavy, with lots of bean paste inside And the bread is soft The bread is soft and chewy, and the bean paste is not too sweet and delicious Salted bean paste butter roll The balance of bean paste and salt is just right! It was delicious. When it comes to yakitori in Fukui, this is the place to go! We arrived at Akiyoshi Akiyoshi’s yakitori is characterized by the fact that it comes in a set of five bite-sized pieces! After ordering, three types of sauce were brought out! The sauce on the top left is for kushikatsu, the sauce on the top right is for yakitori, and the mustard on the bottom is for salt-grilled yakitori If you add this “Namba Garlic” to the yakitori sauce, it will taste even better! And when I ordered “Petro”, they also brought out a sauce (top) for “Petro only” Cucumber (¥70/each), cabbage (¥165) Let’s start with the vegetables! Kushikatsu (¥380/5 skewers) Tomato (¥308) Fresh and delicious! It’s light and goes well with yakitori Young chicken (¥380/5 skewers) Kushikatsu (¥380/5 skewers) They come out one after the other… The shop’s recommended dish: “Junkei” (¥396/5 skewers) Petro (¥407/5 bottles) Let’s start with Akiyoshi’s top recommendation, “Junkei” My favorite way to eat Junkei is with a generous amount of “secret meat sauce” It has a crunchy texture, and the chewy and juicy meat is irresistible! Skirt steak (¥418/5 pieces) We’ll have “Young Chicken” We’ll add plenty of sauce… Juicy meat and delicious sauce And then there’s “Pe-Toro” “Pe-Toro” is seasoned with miso, so you can eat it with a special sour sauce The balance of the sweet miso and the refreshing sour sauce is perfect! Shiro (¥380/5 skewers) Shiro = offal This meat sauce is so delicious that you’ll realize halfway through that they didn’t use mustard… Eat the kushikatsu with the special sauce The fruity sauce matches perfectly and is delicious! The “skirt steak” meat is very tender and easy to eat! A recommended dish for meat lovers! Everything was so delicious I was so happy… I definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I come to Fukui The next morning, I came to this restaurant, famous for its Fukui specialty “Echizen Soba” It’s so popular that people line up before it even opens It fills up quickly, so I recommend lining up before it opens Echizen Mae-oroshi Sanmi Soba (¥1,800) This is a very luxurious menu First, soba noodles with mountain vegetables Next, soba noodles with crab and plum Then, a huge bowl of tempura soba This dish is so luxurious, with so much “crab” on top The soba noodles with mountain vegetables have a simple, comforting taste! And tempura soba! The shrimp tempura is big and quite heavy! It’s plump and delicious. Cold tanuki soba (¥1,250) Recommended set meal A (¥1,300) A great value set that comes with a mini-sized “sauce cutlet bowl” And Echizen oroshi soba! First, let’s start with the salad The potato salad is nostalgic and nice And then the grated daikon soba… When it comes to grated daikon soba in Fukui, the noodles are usually thick, but the soba at Miyoshiya is characterized by its thin noodles The thin noodles go well with the soup and spices, so I personally prefer them to soba with thick noodles… Next, the sauce katsudon! It’s quite thick. The meat is tender and the sauce has a fruity and elegant taste! It goes really well with rice Finally, we had some buckwheat soup The buckwheat soup was very rich and thick, and was fragrant and delicious. Very satisfied! It’s no wonder the locals give it such high ratings! The last one is a convenience store and deli that is only available in Fukui It’s part of the same chain as “Fukufukuchaya” that I visited the other day Of course they also have sauced pork cutlet There’s also a large eat-in space, so it might be a good idea to have a meal here And they also sold some bread from “Pantes” that I visited the other day The Spam rice balls look delicious too… This is also one of Fukui’s specialties, “Volga rice” Of course they also have sauce katsudon I bought sauce katsudon, Volga rice, and more! Sauce cutlet bowl (¥598) The thin cutlet is similar to the sauce cutlet at Europaken You can eat sauce cutlets in many places in Fukui, but the convenience of being able to buy them at convenience stores is great! The sweet sauce goes well with white rice Volga rice (¥628) Omelet rice topped with pork cutlet and drenched in demi-glace sauce. The eggs were fluffy and delicious. Thank you for the meal! All the specialties of Fukui were really delicious and I had a lot of fun (*^^*) I’ll be going to Toyama Prefecture next, so please look forward to it! Thank you for watching
