【城めぐり】大関氏の居城 黒羽城 栃木県【攻略ルート】

I’m at Nasu-Shiobara Station. This time, we will visit Kurobane Castle Ruins from here. We will take the bus that departs from the front of the station. Let’s check the route on the map. This is Nasu-Shiobara Station, where we are currently located. And our destination is Kurobane Castle Ruins. We take the bus to Daiouji-iriguchi and then walk for about 15 minutes. Let’s go straight away. We arrived at the Daiouji-iriguchi bus stop. First, we will head to Daiouji. Kurobane Castle was built in 1576 by Ozeki Takamasu, a senior retainer of the Nasu clan. The Ozeki clan quickly joined Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the Odawara Campaign in 1590 and were granted relief for their territory. In 1600, they sided with Tokugawa in the Battle of Sekigahara and were granted additional lands. The castle also underwent extensive renovations to defend itself against the Uesugi clan. From then on, it served as the Ozeki clan’s castle until it was abolished due to the abolition of feudal domains and the establishment of prefectures in the Meiji era. The hydrangeas are in full bloom. During the Genroku period, Matsuo Basho visited Kurobane on his way to “Oku no Hosomichi”. For this reason, Kurobane is well known as a place associated with Basho. Let’s take a look at the guide map. The main enclosure of Kurobane Castle is now Kurobane Castle Ruins Park, and the Sannomaru is maintained as “Basho Square”. You can see the flags for the Hydrangea Festival. Hydrangeas are also called “yohira” because they look like they have four petals. However, these are actually the calyx, not the petals. 【Kurobane Basho Museum】 【Bronze statues of Basho and Sora】 Castle seals are sold here. However, photography is not allowed inside the building. These are the stone walls and the horikiri. They separate the Sannomaru and the Umadashi. We have come to the Umadashi. 【umadashi】 We cross the wooden bridge and move to the main enclosure. Hydrangeas are also looming over the horikiri. It’s on the other side. 【main enclosure】 【Umbrella Sky】 【We ♡Ajisai】 There seems to be an observation deck. Let’s go inside. The view to the northwest. 【Anywhere Door】 That’s all for this video. Thank you for watching until the end. See you again in another town. Please subscribe to the channel, Like, and Super Thanks!
