Hello everyone. Welcome back to Tirasu’s travel channel. Today, the dairy company has the opportunity to visit a new land, the southernmost gateway of the Central Highlands called Kien Duc town. Kien Duc town is one of the administrative and economic centers of Dak R’lap district, Dak Nong province. After July 2025, according to the Merger Resolution, Dak Nong province will merge with Lam Dong province and Binh Thuan province, named Lam Dong province with the administrative center located in Da Lat city, Lam Dong. Kien Duc town is located in the center of Dak R’lap district, 24 km west of Gia Nghia city on National Highway 14. Kien Duc is located at an altitude of about 800 m above sea level, so the climate is mild, very suitable for agricultural and tourism development. The economy here is mainly based on agriculture with key crops such as coffee, pepper, rubber and tropical fruits. The town is also gradually developing commercial and tourism services. The population in Kien Duc is ethnically diverse, including ethnic minorities such as the M’nong and Ede. The culture is rich with many unique customs and practices. In Kien Duc, there are many attractive tourist destinations such as lakes, waterfalls and primeval forests that attract tourists to visit and experience nature. Kien Duc town is only about 200 km from Ho Chi Minh City . From Ho Chi Minh City, you have many options to get to Kien Duc town. We will travel along the route of Go Vap, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and through National Highway 14. This journey also brings many interesting experiences for the whole family. National Highway 14 is famous for its rubber forests, green tea hills and fruit-laden orchards. You will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the Southeast and Central Highlands while traveling along this route. Only 200 km, if you travel to Phan Thiet it only takes about 3 hours, then by National Highway it takes 4 and a half hours to get to Kien Duc. The road is quite beautiful, with many winding turns. I have never seen as many regulations as here, so drivers must pay attention to the maximum speed limit and solid and broken lines to avoid violating road traffic laws. We attended a wedding party here, so there was not much time to travel and chill. We arrived in Kien Duc around noon and immediately looked for a famous chicken rice restaurant to fill the hungry stomachs of the whole family. This is the 5 Lua chicken rice restaurant located on the front of Nguyen Tat Thanh Street. I saw that the reviews on Google Map were also very high, so I decided to stop by and try it. The menu is quite diverse, mainly chicken dishes. I ordered fried chicken rice for 55,000 VND per portion. The restaurant will give you an extra plate of fresh lettuce and two extra bowls of soup. Everyone must definitely come here. The rice is extremely delicious. The chicken was very crispy and fresh. The owners were also very cute. Mrs. Sua kept saying, “It’s so delicious, mom. The chicken is so delicious.” Luckily, right after we finished eating, the admin of Megarden texted us that our villa was ready and we could check in early. Our family went to the villa right away. I only know MeGarden on Google Map. According to the reviews shared by customers, MeGarden is a chain of villas and art projects located between Kien Duc and Gia Nghia city. This location is also quite suitable for our family’s needs. It is convenient to move to the center to attend the wedding party and can also chill, enjoy the cool and fresh moments of the Central Highlands mountains and forests. This area has many villas with private gardens and different decorative styles, ensuring visitors a wonderful experience. The house I rented is Dong Giao, a house with a strong oriental character, a space that harmonizes the nostalgia of Eastern tradition and the modern romance of Western architecture. Each material and color of the house is chosen to bring a sense of closeness. Besides the horizontal and vertical directions, some curves are added by the artist to soften the space and remind of the nostalgia of the past. With an area of over 130 m², the house is arranged with all the rooms being spacious, airy, and fully equipped. The interior has a solemn Indochinese style, the garden is quite spacious with a cool green view and a vast sky. You can park your car too. My first impression is that the house is very clean. Clean to every detail and shiny, everyone. The villa will include a living room like this, two bedrooms and two private toilets (there is a floor but it is no longer in use). The house can accommodate about four adults and two to three small children. I booked on Agoda with a discount of about 850,000 VND for two adults to stay one night. If there are more adults, it will cost about 330,000 VND per person. Of course, I asked the admin on MeGarden’s fanpage for information about the room and the number of people coming, and then went back to Agoda to book a room to be sure. Because on Agoda, choosing the number of people coming will have different prices. If I stay with two people, I choose two people. If I stay with four people, I choose four people. It is NOT POSSIBLE because the villa’s capacity is four people, so I choose two people for one booking to save money. Here you can go to town to buy food to cook at home or you can order a BBQ for the admin to prepare for you. But please note that I booked in advance. Now, let’s invite everyone to go on a house tour with me. Take advantage of the remaining time to go around the villa area and go to Megarden coffee to enjoy the specialty drinks as well as the fresh air here. The road is all red dirt, so after walking a little bit, your sandals will turn red. Oh, there are a lot of activities here. Like horse riding lessons for children from 6 years old and up. And the outdoor games for children at MeGarden Coffee also make them reluctant to leave. If you go with a lot of people, a family of four or five people or more , I recommend you rent a house in the valley next to the stream, near Megarden coffee. There you can hear the sound of the stream flowing from morning to night. The view is very beautiful, very chill. Just go out a bit and there is a coffee shop. After talking for a while, we went to Megarden coffee. Let’s visit with me ~ In general, it’s a bit of a pity because I don’t have much time to experience the villa, I have to attend weddings continuously, but actually I also want to learn horse riding and chill BBQ at night here.
