In Dejiang County, Guizhou Province, there is such a cave fair that only takes place once a year. Every year on the 19th day of the sixth lunar month, the villagers gather from all directions early in the morning without tacit understanding, and set up stalls in the deep caves to sell all kinds of goods. From a distance, the cave is crowded with people, shouting and laughing one after another , and the aroma of various tempting snacks interweaves and echoes between the cave walls. The rich smell of fireworks almost fills the entire cave, instantly making this quiet cave lively and extraordinary. This time we also came here specially just to experience this cave market that only takes place once a year. After all, if you miss this kind of excitement hidden deep in the mountains, you will have to wait again. Hello everyone , I am Xiaoxue. Today we came to Dejiang County, Guizhou. The cave behind me is called Longqiao Cave. Every year, a very interesting cave fair is held here. On this day, there will be a sea of people here. There will be many villagers and vendors nearby. The scene is really spectacular and lively. Today, we also come to join in the fun and see what is going on. It is very lively here today. There are so many people. Many cars are parked several kilometers away. Friends who have watched our videos know that this is our second time here. It is actually a temple fair. In our Chinese folk, there are three festivals for Guanyin Bodhisattva , which are on February 19th, June 19th and September 19th. But in Guizhou, Only on June 19th is the busiest day. It is just like usual here, with a lot of people. June 19th is the day of enlightenment of Avalokitesvara. There are many temples in Guizhou. It is very lively on this day. Many people will come here from thousands of miles away to burn incense and make wishes to the Bodhisattva . We have also seen many temples holding markets in Guizhou , but this kind of market in a cave is relatively rare. It can be said that it is unique in Guizhou. You can see that there are many snack stands here. Some sell chicken legs, and some sell watermelons grown by locals. You can see that there are also toys and seasonings for sale . Stalls have been set up in the cave here. Let’s take a look at this cave. There are many people eating noodles in it . It’s so cool when you walk into this cave. They are selling beef noodles here. It feels like a banquet. This cave is a side cave . Let’s go to the main cave and see that there are many people selling fruits. There are many villagers who will take advantage of the temple fair to buy some daily necessities here. There are two roads to reach the cave entrance. One is the one we took, and the other is on this side. This is also a snack street. It can be said that where there are people, there are business opportunities . Usually, no one can be seen here. Only on this day can we come here to taste the local snacks. Let’s see how much it is. One catty is 6 yuan. It ‘s 6 yuan per catty . Isn’t it 5 yuan? You can’t eat a catty for 5 yuan. This is corn beans . I can say it is this It’s unique to Dejiang County. It’s 7 yuan . Okay , let’s taste the local cold noodles and cold noodles. The boss ordered a whole bowl of cold noodles and a whole bowl of soso. This is also a unique local feature. More or less chili peppers . Let me show you the things we ordered. This is called soso. This place is called soso . Some places call it cold shrimp. This is cold noodles. This is corn beans . Let’s try the corn beans first . It’s very delicious. It has the unique aroma of corn. In addition, it is fermented and then produces the aroma of wine. The two flavors are mixed together. It ‘s really great and delicious. I can’t help but take another bite. This is soso . It’s icy and cool. It’s especially refreshing to have a bowl on such a hot day. This is cold noodles, which are smooth and refreshing. Okay, now we have tasted the snacks. Now we Let’s take you into the cave for a tour. Many people are sitting over there to enjoy the cool air. Because people are burning incense and paper in the cave, the cave is filled with smoke. These stalls are set up all the way to the depths of the cave. Many people are enjoying the cool air in the cave. Look over here , too. Wow, there are people playing cards here. There are also people playing cards over here . This is the relaxation that only the elderly have. Don’t you think this scene is very interesting? There is a natural spring over here. Let’s go and have a look. There are two children playing in the water here. Yes , there are two more . It’s so slippery over here. You can see that the spring water flows out from the cave. There are more people playing here. The water outside is muddy , and the water inside is clearer. This spring water is good. Ice. In the past, there were no refrigerators in the countryside, so they would put iced things and iced water in the water. This is the place to burn incense and pray. In the middle, there is a statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Why do people come here to worship every year? Because in the depths of this cave, there is a stone. The stone looks like a Guanyin Bodhisattva. So, everyone comes here to worship every year, and it has continued to this day. Now we walk up from here and show you this. Many people say it looks like a Guanyin. I think it also looks a bit like it. Under the stone tied with this red cloth, there is a Thousand-armed Guanyin. This stalactite is really beautiful and unique. Next to the Thousand-armed Guanyin, there is a spring. Let’s take a look. The water source is from the cliff on the top, then drips down and gathers in this basin. This basin is also naturally formed. I heard from the locals that this water is holy water. It is said that as long as someone is sick, they can come here to ask for water, and then drink the water after returning home, and the disease will be cured. Isn’t it magical ? But this is also what the locals said. However, this water is really drinkable. I just saw someone holding a bottle to drink this water. This cave is really a different world and very strange. There is also a spring here, but the water is relatively muddy and I can’t see the spring . I observed it carefully. This water also drips from the top of the cliff into this pool. This cave is called Longqiao Cave. The locals also call it Guanyin Cave. The whole thing looks like this. It’s too smoky here. It’s all smoke. Now let’s go down and show you. There is an angle below that is very artistic. Standing here feels like standing in the sky . You can see people coming and going below. Suddenly, you feel like Guanyin Bodhisattva overlooking all living beings. Well, you don’t say that this cave is really very good. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. Those stalactite formations are beautiful … they really do look like some mystical being frozen in time and pouring holy water down … magical is right young Tomb Raider.
