[4K] Morning Walk in Kayabuki no Sato | Japan’s Most Peaceful Traditional Village
Kayabuki no Sato is a small, traditional village located in the rural area of Miyama, on the outskirts of Kyoto, Japan. It is considered one of the most beautiful old villages in the ancient capital and is famous for its well-preserved traditional wooden houses with thatched roofs. Surrounded by lush green forests, the village has fresh and cool air all year round.
To get here in the morning, I woke up at 4 AM and took a train from Osaka. But all my efforts were truly rewarded — the village was incredibly beautiful and spotlessly clean. It was absolutely quiet. So quiet that I could hear every sound of nature: the croaking of frogs, the chirping of insects, birds singing, the flow of the river, and even the sound of my own footsteps.
This was a wonderful morning walk through a peaceful and beautiful village. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
