【女ひとり旅】猛暑から脱出したい!富士山五合目&氷の洞窟で涼む日帰りバスツアー 山梨観光と桃狩り食べ放題グルメ
Yamanashi Bus Tour. Hello, this is Hironeko. It’s been hot every day. Today, I found a bus tour that might cool me down a bit, so I came to the meeting place in Shinjuku. I’m a country bumpkin who can’t help but look up when I see a skyscraper. My seat is at the very back again. The nightmare from last time is coming back to me. Ah, but it’s a proper seat. I feel like there’s plenty of room this time. The seat looks like this, but it’s normal for a tourist bus, isn’t it? Thank you. This bus tour is Cool natural air conditioner♪ Mysterious ice cave exploration and spectacular sky encounter “Mt. Fuji 5th Station” All-you-can-eat seasonal fruit picking. Don’t you think it’s a very refreshing tour? The bus seems to be almost full, and next to me are a lively group of three women. Even though I don’t mean to listen, I can hear everything they’re saying. They seem to work hard for their families and never run out of things to talk about. The toilet break is 15 minutes at Dangosaka SA. There is a magnificent view, but I wonder if you can see Mt. Fuji from here? Ah, it’s so hot. I’m looking forward to the fifth station of Mt. Fuji. After using the restroom, I browsed the shops a little. I love apple pie. Ufufu . I usually take a picture of the bus just in case, but I was given a paper with the bus information like this, so I was very well taken care of. From here, we drive straight to Mt. Fuji! We get off the highway, enter the Fuji Subaru Line, and climb Mt. Fuji. I’ve only come to the fifth station once with my family when I was a child, but it was so cold and foggy that I couldn’t see anything and I remember horses walking through it. I’m glad the weather was good today. Actually, Hironeko is an uncle of rain. I learned the trick of making a reservation just before the clear weather is confirmed. First, we all went to one souvenir shop. We were taken by a slightly eccentric uncle. I thought we would be forced to buy souvenirs, but we were given a commemorative bell and went up to the observation deck. Wow. We could see the peak of Mt. Fuji clearly. I tried taking a selfie, which I’m not used to. The summit looks close, but it takes 6 hours to climb and 4 hours to descend. I don’t think I can manage it. From this side, you can see a series of mountains lower than here. I enjoyed the scenery that perfectly describes the majestic figure of Mt. Fuji. There is a shrine, so let’s go there. Fujisan Komitake Shrine was founded on the summit of Mt. Komitake, which became the foundation of the current Mt. Fuji. It is a shrine that is considered a sacred place of mountain worship and prays for the safety of climbers. It has a rare three-gate torii gate. The area around Komitake Shrine is called Tengu’s Garden and is said to have been ruled by Tengu, and Tengu is enshrined in the shrine as the god of opening the way. In front of Yamato Takeru Shrine, there is a good luck mallet and Tengu’s geta. I just noticed that it’s not that cool at the fifth station… It’s true that the temperature is lower than on the plains, but the sun is strong and it’s quite hot. Oh! There’s a post office. There were horses, but it seems that even taking a photo costs money. Eh? There are many things with Mt. Fuji designs in the souvenir shop. Even melon bread has Mt. Fuji on it! Hehehe♪ I barely managed to get a photo with Mt. Fuji. We had about 40 minutes of free time at the fifth station. It was enough time to look at the scenery and buy souvenirs, but we didn’t have time to walk along the promenade. We arrived at our next destination. Narusawa Ice Cave. I love caves, so this is the one I wanted to come to the most♪ I ‘ve been to many caves, but this is the first time I’ve seen one with ice. I feel like I’m in Dragon Quest♪ Narusawa Ice Cave was formed by lava that flowed out during the Jogan eruption of Mt. Fuji about 1,100 years ago . Let’s go! I can feel a strong cold air from here. It’s cool! No, it’s cold! It’s the best adventure in summer. We’re finally entering the narrow cave. There are steep stairs going down for a while. The ground is wet and slippery, so everyone be careful. There’s no need to rush. From here on, it’s the most difficult part of the cave! You might get your head hurt. This narrow tunnel is quite long. Oh no! I got the wrong equipment. I got dirty. You can only get through here by crab walking! This is dangerous. Protect your head! Whew. Finally I can walk normally. I arrived at the ice area. Wow, it’s beautiful! These blocks of ice are remnants of the time when there were no refrigerators, when ice was cut from the pond in early spring and stored until summer. On the other side were icicles. It reminded me of old freezers. It’s really strange that only a little ice melts even in summer . In no time, I arrived at the exit. I think I stayed there for about 15 minutes. I have about 15 minutes left until the meeting time, so I spend it looking at souvenirs. Craft beer is sold everywhere these days. But it’s a bit expensive… 1,320 yen for two cans of beer. I thought that, but I bought it. I’m bored, so I read the explanation again. It seems that the total length of the ice cave was only 153m. Next, we headed to our much-anticipated lunch. Oh, Mt. Fuji! This was the first time I could see the whole view today. Although, the big clouds made it hard to see… Due to the morning traffic jam, it was late lunchtime and I was starving. At this point, I realized that I and another woman were the only people participating alone. We shared a table with the two of us. \ Yamanashi specialty Houtou // This was my first time eating Houtou. First, the soup. It had a sweet miso flavor and was delicious♪ The thick noodles are characteristic of Houtou. They were well-cooked and the flavor was soaked in that they were delicious. It was healthy with plenty of vegetables. There was also a sweet pumpkin and a large potato. This Houtou did not contain meat, but it was full of mushrooms, vegetables, and fried tofu, and it was delicious with a lot of umami. There was a lot of food, and it never ran out no matter how much I ate. It was a cat-friendly restaurant with cats everywhere♪ Now, the last thing is seasonal fruit picking♪ Today, in late June, we are picking peaches. I’m so happy~ I love peaches! We transfered to a minibus from the orchard’s parking lot and headed to the peach orchard. This time, we could pick peaches as much as we wanted for 30 minutes, and because we were not allowed to bring bags, we were given a small plastic bag and could only bring valuables in it. After driving for about 5 minutes, we arrived at the peach orchard. We were given a knife, plate, and bucket and started picking peaches! Okay! I just ate hoto, so I can’t eat that much. I have to carefully select the tastiest ones. Apparently the peaches at the end of the branches are sweeter. For now, I think that’s the reddest and ripeest peach. Oops, it might be a little hard. Peeling it and eating it is a pain… Finally, I peeled it. Yes, it’s still hard. It’s hard and honestly not tasty. It seems to be too early for peach season. I can hear people around me saying that it’s hard. Perhaps in anticipation of this, they also provided us with peaches that had already been picked and were chilled. They were super delicious! Cold, juicy, and sweet. I gave up on the “hunt” and managed to eat all three cold peaches. However, Taoyuan was hot under the blazing sun. We managed to survive in the shade of a few trees. After completing all the sightseeing, we returned to Shinjuku. We ate too much and our stomachs felt like they were about to burst. But it was really hot today. We were hoping for some coolness on this tour, but it was only cool for 15 minutes inside the cave. But we had a lot of fun so we’re satisfied. On the way back, we took a toilet break at Ishikawa Parking Area and arrived in Shinjuku. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for watching until the end!
