And there is a ticket gate of “Kintetsu” on the opposite side. I will go out of “Hachijoguchi” once. This is the south side of Kyoto Station, the Hachijo Exit. There is a taxi rank and a pick-up area for general vehicles. There is also a Shinkansen ticket gate on the ground floor of the Hachijo Exit. You can recognize that the Shinkansen is closer to “Hachijoguchi”. There is a recommended spot at “Hachijoguchi”. Here it is. In a fashionable area, you can enjoy eating and shopping while waiting for your train. There are Shinkansen ticket gates at both ends of this path. There is also a JR ticket gate in front of McDonald’s at Hachijoguchi. And from here enter the “underground free passage”. To move in the north-south direction of Kyoto Station, use the first “North-South Free Passage” or “Underground Free Passage”. There is also a ticket gate at this underground station. This is the subway entrance. Kyoto Station has ticket gates on the north, south, east, and west, so it can be confusing, but if you think about the north and south of the Hachijo Exit and Karasuma Exit, it will be easier to understand. By the way, I’m heading to “Karasumaguchi” now. “Kyoto Tower” is located at Karasumaguchi. If you go through the “underground free passage” toward “Karasumaguchi”, you will find a JR ticket gate. There is also an entrance to “Porta”, an underground mall at Kyoto Station. Since this place is underground, there is also an entrance to the subway. The east side of Kyoto Station is full of “underground shopping malls”. This is the underground mall “Porta”. When you come this far, you are already on the north side of the station. The underground mall is wide, but let’s go out to the ground once. Well, I came out to the ground of “Karasumaguchi”. There is “Kyoto Tower” on this side. Enter the station. In the middle of this “Karasumaguchi” is the “central ticket gate”. Let’s aim for the first starting point. If you climb this escalator, you will be able to go to the “North-South Free Passage”. Let’s start from the outside this time. There is also an entrance to the underground mall. This is the entrance to the North-South Free Passage. This is the first “West ticket gate”. 京都には､1年に､1回しか､行けないから､😅京都の街並みを撮影して､頂くのは､有り難いです｡上手に､撮影していますね｡説明も､分かりやすく良いですね｡😊
土地勘のない観光客だとタワーのある方（北口）、新幹線の近い側（南口）としか認識してないだろうけど、烏丸側だけでも中央口、地下東口とあるし以前は西洞院口に地下中央口まであった。昔は、烏丸「西・中央・東」、八条「西・中央・東」ととてもシンプルだった。
明日一人旅で京都に行きます。京都駅っていったら、駅がでかい他に空中経路があること( ॑꒳ ॑ )ﾃﾞｽﾖﾈ

今度京都駅を訪ようと思っています。その際に駐車場として京都駅ビルを利用してそこから京都駅に行こうと思うのですが京都駅ビルからだとどこの入口から入ることになるでしょうか？
私も京都市内に約15年住み大阪市内に住み移りました。京都生まれでも大阪生まれでもありません。冷静に判断して大阪駅と京都駅では雲泥の差が付いてしまったのが正直なる感想です。梅田界隈の西部とウメキタ開発を加えると雲泥の差になってしまう。何故こんなにも差がついたのか?この事をいいますと京都は京都駅界隈では無く三条四条界隈と言いますがもはや比べ物にならない程度になっている事を早く気付いた方が良い。やはり今の京都の政治ですかね?
数日前にも京都駅使ったんですけど、何度来ても度肝抜かれますね。
京都に今度転居する予定で、子育てなどあまりいい事書いてなさすぎて、不安でしたが観光としてはすごくいい所ですね！九州住みなので、かなりギャップを感じそうで、京都府民恐ろしいです、、、
