【女ひとり旅】江ノ島の人気グルメと海カフェで癒される1日|シーキャンドル&富士山の絶景も✨

I’ve arrived at Katase-Enoshima Station. The station looks just like a palace from a fairytale—so enchanting! Seeing Enoshima right in front of me really lifts my travel spirit. Enoshima Benten Bridge stretches straight under the blue sky. With the sea breeze at my back,
I walk across to Enoshima. At the entrance of Enoshima,
a bronze torii gate welcomed us. This is the main approach to
Enoshima Shrine. It’s bustling with tourists
and full of energy. We came to “Tobiccho,”
famous for seafood rice bowls. I was here for their
Shirasu Black Croquette. Its appearance was quite surprising! But the flavor of the shirasu
really came through. We arrived at “Shonan Denim Street.” A unique shop themed around denim. Even the meat buns and ice cream
are all blue! I tried the Shonan Denim Lemonade Squash
I’d been curious about. Its gentle color
lifted my spirits. 💜 A visually soothing,
slightly special lemonade. Next, we visited “Asahi Honten.” Their senbei, made with whole octopus, shrimp,
and shirasu, are very popular. The ingredients are pressed tightly by machine,
flattened into a crisp! I couldn’t take my eyes off
the baking process. The aroma of the freshly baked snack was amazing! It’s a must-try when visiting Enoshima. We’ve arrived at Enoshima Shrine. The Zuishinmon Gate looks like the entrance to a dragon’s palace. Now, we’ll take the Escar escalator up the hill. The Escar plays a dreamy ocean-themed video. It feels like walking up a path of light. Real jellyfish were filmed in 8K, and beautifully rendered like CG art. It felt like a brief journey
under the sea. Here rest the quietly enshrined Dragon God and Benzaiten. Clear water flows gently,
bringing a sense of peace. There’s a small bamboo basket where you can
purify your coins. I gently washed them,
offering my heartfelt prayers. This was once the sailing venue
for the Tokyo Olympics. Now, it’s a calm and peaceful view
that stretches out before us. Many yachts float gently
on the sea. We’ve arrived at the Samuel Cocking Garden. Tropical plants and seasonal flowers
welcome us warmly. It’s said to be a historical botanical garden
built during the Meiji era. Just strolling around
helps me relax and unwind. Time for lunch at “LONCAFE”
with a view of the ocean. The open interior and the breeze
make it very refreshing. Luckily, I got a seat on the terrace. Everything looks delicious! Apparently, it’s the very first
French toast specialty café in Japan. I added one more plate—
the rich crème brûlée toast! It melted in my mouth and brought a big smile 😊 The pairing with crème brûlée
was a perfect match. It’s such a pleasant time,
slowly savoring my meal on the terrace. I truly felt happy
to have come here. Now arriving at the symbol of Enoshima—
the Sea Candle lighthouse. With the beautiful weather,
I’m starting to feel really excited. The sky is clear and blue—
what a perfect view! The sparkle of Sagami Bay
is like a sea of jewels. ✨ Realizing I walked across that bridge
feels kind of emotional. Climbing the stairs
brought me to an open-air observation deck. I could even see Mt. Fuji—
what a joy! ✨ It felt like being gently wrapped
by the wind and sunlight. A beautiful view
that will stay in my heart. Now heading toward the Iwaya Caves. Crossing the Iwaya Bridge
that leads to the caves. A stunning view of
Chigogafuchi unfolds ahead. I can see the entrance to the First Iwaya Cave. Near the entrance is a monument with a poem by Akiko Yosano… She once visited this place, it seems. Holding a small candle in hand,
I walk deeper inside. It’s cool and dim inside,
with a mystical atmosphere. Enoshima Iwaya is a natural cave
formed by years of wave erosion. Walking with just the candlelight
feels like a special experience. It’s said that this is where
Enoshima Shrine originated. The rock walls are so powerful and impressive! I could really feel
the strength of nature. After a short walk, I arrived at the Second Iwaya Cave. A dragon deity illuminated in purple light. When you clap your hands, it roars—
what a fun surprise! On the way back to the station,
I saw Mt. Fuji in the western sky. Its beauty moved me deeply. I felt drawn toward the ocean, almost instinctively. I just wanted to gaze at this view a little longer. I arrived at Katase Nishihama Beach. Everyone was quietly enjoying the moment,
surrounded by the sea breeze. I, too, just sat there with an empty mind… …soaking in the twilight moment deeply. Thank you for watching until the end. I hope we meet again
on the next journey. ✨
