【女ひとり】名鉄 尾西線 のんびり旅 観光/グルメ 愛知県 Aichi Prefecture Meitetsu Tourism

[Relaxing Journey on the Bisai Line – From Yatomi City to Ichinomiya City] Hello! Today, I’m taking a relaxing sightseeing trip on the Meitetsu Bisai Line, the oldest railway line operated by Meitetsu. The Bisai Line connects Ichinomiya City and Yatomi City. Let’s begin the journey! I’m starting from Tamanoi Station in Ichinomiya City. It’s an unmanned station. The train has already arrived—it’s the red-colored train! This time, I’m departing from the last car. Such a peaceful station. Thank you, train! Now arriving at Oku-machi Station, another unmanned station in Ichinomiya City. When I think of Ichinomiya, I think of morning sets! I’ve been looking forward to this. After a 20-minute walk from Oku-machi Station, I arrived at Croce, famous for its dice-shaped bread morning set. I arrived at 9:30 AM and there were already six groups ahead of me. After waiting for about 40 minutes, I was seated in the spacious café. The morning set includes either dice-shaped bread or a bagel. I ordered the morning set with coffee for 550 yen. A 10cm cube-shaped dice bread with margarine on top Corn soup Maple syrup, orange, and potato salad The bread was soft and fluffy. The warm bread paired perfectly with the salty margarine. Corn soup potato salad Maple syrup orange It was so delicious that I ate it up quickly! Next, I walked 30 minutes to Nokogiri-ni, a former weaving factory turned art gallery. The sawtooth roof design allows natural light to illuminate the space. The structure is designed so that shadows don’t form around the pillars. The nearest station is Kaimei Station. I transferred at Ichinomiya Station. There are tall buildings around Ichinomiya Station. After a short ride, the scenery became more rural. I arrived at Hagiwara Station. Now here! Thank you, train! This is an unmanned station in Ichinomiya City. I want to eat something warm! Kawamuraya Kaho Sohonten, a Japanese sweets shop. It was closed. I arrived at Hagiwara Shopping Street, which has a retro atmosphere. Maruhachi Sake Shop Nakano Farm A stylish store called Miuraya A black building A saw & blade shop, Kanetsu Shoten A kimono store, Ogawaya Gofukuten Shinozaki Shoten A household goods store, Goto Aramono-ten Ameyoshi Pharmacy A Taiyaki shop, Hashimotoya Too many stores were temporarily closed… 😢 Takada Auto Motor Sales, Hashimotoya, and Shōzuiji Temple Shōzuiji Temple, founded in 1584. I returned to Hagiwara Station. Thank you, train! Now here! It’s a bit hard to see, but the platform is located on a curve. Tamano Station, at the southwestern edge of Ichinomiya City. Near Tamano Station, there are no tall buildings, so you can see the train approaching from far away. The area around the station has a peaceful atmosphere with fields and bamboo groves. I returned to Tamano Station. For the first time today, I got to ride at the front. There are many peaceful roads, which is nice. The complex railway tracks make it exciting to see where the train will go next. Thank you, train! Now here! Tsushima Station, a large station in Tsushima City. A building that caught my eye. A retro-style café labeled “Coffee & Light Meals.” I thought it was closed, but to my surprise, there were people inside! I walked for about 20 minutes from the station. Tsushima Shrine, known as a god of purification and blessings. A temizuya (purification fountain). Photography inside wasn’t allowed, so I just paid my respects. A shop I was curious about. Akadaya Seishichi, selling Japan’s hardest sweets. “Akada” – A deep-fried rice dumpling snack. “Kutsuwa” – Made with sugar and black sesame, shaped into a double ring, and deep-fried. Kutsuwa is a lucky confection, inspired by the Chinowa (sacred grass ring). This is the only shop that still makes them by hand. It has been featured in many media reports. The owner was very kind and loved to chat. Be careful when eating! “You might break a tooth!” (The owner’s warning!) I bought some souvenirs. Kutsuwa: 500 yen Akada: 100 yen Kutsuwa I tried breaking it by hand, but it was impossible… It’s hard enough to break easily with a hammer! A simple, sweet, and nostalgic flavor—best eaten with your molars. Akada Akada is even harder, barely chewable with your molars.
It has a mild sesame aroma and less sweetness. I returned to Tsushima Station. Just as I arrived, a train pulled in. It was a different type of train than before. Thank you, train! I transferred at Saya Station. Heading to Yatomi Station. Thank you, train! Now here! At Yatomi Station, only Meitetsu trains use this track—everything else is JR. I need to tap my IC card here. If I forget… I’ll be in trouble! I arrived at Yatomi Station, at the westernmost edge of Yatomi City. How was this Bisai Line journey? Thank you for watching until the end!
