ゆったりとしたバンライフと居心地の良いキャンプ旅行Vlog。神秘的なバイキングフィヨルド、トロルスティゲン、ガイランゲルを巡る

Before I eat, I need to introduce you to a new team member Legendary Fjords Look at the beautiful water up there. All right, it’s time to leave this amazing place above the Geiranger fjord I spent three nights here, actually. And this morning, it’s June 3rd. There are no cruise ships down in Geiranger As far as I could see from the App that I use So I’m gonna head down there and take my chances in the most touristy place in Norway could be better today without the two massive cruise ships that were in harbor last night. So gonna go cross Geiranger and cross another mountain and into another fjord and maybe I’ll end up at Trollstigen the Trolls ladder later today. We’ll see what happens with the weather or It looks pretty good on the forecast, but a lot of wind. It might get up to storm strength in the mountains, so just have to play it by ear as usual. Let’s go. A lot of hairpin turns in Norway. There’s no avoiding it. Look at this wind here. Wow. Might not be able to fly my drone. So here we are. The biggest tourist trap in Norway, but there’s a reason for that. It is absolutely. spectacular. If you get a little bit of sunshine or clear skies, So I’m gonna climb up on the other side there. Might take a quick stop down here to dump my waist, and I need to refill my ad blue. Maybe get propane or maybe I’ll wait till the next little town for that. It is not crazy crowded today. Look at all the RVs ho ho. All right, that was just a quick stop down in Geiranger They didn’t have much, but I managed to get rid of my trash and my toilet waist, so good to go on that, but I need propane and add blue. I’m going to do that in the next town And now we start climbing up these crazy switchbacks here up to the most spectacular viewpoint in Norway I think if I remember right and then on to the ferry hopefully it’s possible to get on the ferry without having to wait for too long. Hey, goats. Look at the goats. That’s cool Well, that’s a pretty epic view. The wind was harsh, but I was able to get my drone up and fly. So, very excited about that. Let’s get out of this place, see if we can make the ferry today, how long we have to wait, I have no idea So absolutely no problem getting in line here. I’m first and the ferry left one minute before I got in line here, so I would have made that, but the next one is in 20 minutes, so no problem at all. I managed to get propane over here at the coop Market, and that’s usually the cheapest place to get it. So happy about that. Now I only need addlue, and I’m all set to go up to the troll ladder. Trollstigen Viking Sun rally adventure Seeing a lot of them on the road. It’s a ton of flies on deck here Got some very strong side winds here, so this is a very difficult docking, apparently. It’s taking a long time. Look at the wind up on the trees there to the right. It’s just catching the ferry. This is Valldal Pretty nice spot here. Need to get add blue. I hope they have a pump here. Such a nice little town splendid OK let’s see take out here. That looks like ad blue, doesn’t it? No, East, le,,, Very quaint little town here. Beautiful. If you want to follow my maps, see my campsites
and get access to exclusive videos & more you can sign up to: Just gonna head quickly out to the viewpoints the wind is crazy so I got all the shots I needed on mu drone but I had down there had to turn my hat around so it doesn’t flow away. All right, so we’re currently here. The road to on Åndalsnes is closed so I’m gonna have to go around and I’m gonna go up All right, that was Trollstigen, the troll ladder, and the road is closed here Although we’re so close to Åndalsnes but we have to turn around here because there’s been rock slides last year and it’s been closed for a year. But it’s still worth it. to go seeing This road is just amazing. Now there’s gonna be a storm up here. No rain or anything, but it’s gonna be above storm, strength in the wind. So I think that goes for the whole area here. So I’m find somewhere to camp Preferably with the good cell service Anyway, I could go for an hour to somewhere I was looking at to park or I could park here. It’s only 3 o’clock. I’m thinking I’ll drive a little bit more So I saw this little village of old, old cabins, and there’s a really cool bridge up here, so I wanted to go up and check it out. Stonebridge. Yeah, so I don’t know if you can hear me above the noise from the waterfall, but this stonebridge here was built in 1891. That’s pretty awesome. This building is old. I am guessing 17th century. Seen a similar and I was 1726. and this is one of price for conservation That roof. Today, I’m just speechless with admiration for my country. It’s so amazing. Wow. It’s like incredible. The scenery with the green lush valleys and the snow covered mountains and the waterfalls yeah incredible Yeah, you just have to see the pictures and and enjoy. I’m back in beautiful Valldal Love this place. Looks like you can park here. Camping prohibited. All right. It’s time for some gravel here. This is gonna be a pretty remote. I think. So if you wanna know where this road is and where I end up camping, you can join my Patronon Patreon.com/NorwegianXPLORER Or you can join my channel as a member. I share all my maps and campsites and stuff on Patreon and with my channel members. So let’s see if we find this campsite that I’m hoping for in here. Two more kilometers. cool up here. Not many places to park at all. All right, we have arrived. And, uh, I guess this is the spot. Not sure. No, it’s over there, I think This is pretty sweet. Cell service is not great, but it’s decent. for now. I could keep going down that road. I’ll get down to the next fjord. I’m gonna have a look. This is quite sweet, but I’m gonna keep going down towards the fjord. See if I can get some better cell service. Here’s the view out my door. It’s very buggy outside so I’m not opening the door, but this river. will probably bring with it a snowstorm. No I’m kidding. There’s no snowstorms on the forecast. It’s close to road in the fords that is not often used. So it’s been a very long day of driving, so I’m just going to fix a simple dinner today. It’s going to be an Omelette, scrambled eggs with a lot of veggies, tomatoes, squash some red lentils, some chickpeas, some Spanish ham, and jalapenos. That should be a We could meal there three eggs left. and quick and simple. Haven’t used much eggs lately but now it’s definitely time. Look at the beautiful water up there and the sound. I love the sound of running water. I have so many people on the park for night app that I sometimes used to find parking spots that complained about how we couldn’t stay here. It was too noisy with the running water That blows my mind. Can you have a better sound than this? So are tomatoes? And a squash. Some Spanish ham. Come, Mar. Red lentils And chickpeas. So here’s the base. That is looking quite tasty Let’s get the eggs in. Or maybe we’ll fry this a little bit first. I have a good feeling about this Could be an omelette or it could just be kind of a veggie scrambled eggs clean everything as I go that’s the easiest way when you’re in the van. Black pepper. That’s a lot. Salt. And a little bit of bread on the side So I got a new propane bottle today. I actually used one propane bottle in two weeks. That’s very very fast for a summer, but it’s been mighty cold. Got that snowstorm, got down to freezing up in Luttenheimen. So been running the heater, which Last summer I barely touched the heater. This summer so far. two weeks, two and a half, yeah, two weeks I’m used to it every day All right, it doesn’t look incredible, but it is quite tasty So, simple dish with a not so good look, but I’m sure it’s very tasty, so let’s eat. Before I eat, I need to introduce you to a new team member. Important one. This guy up here, in the Troll. You can see he’s marching. I don’t know where he’s. marching. He’s got like trees all over his head and he should probably be like as big as from here to up here. So you can just kind of pretend he’s way in the background there What should we call him? The troll. That can be a good thing for you to help me out with. Please leave a comment with your suggestion for a name for my troll. So, food time. Egg destroyed egg with veggies. It’s really good. Bit too much veggies should I have more eggs and less veggies But can’t can’t hate on this could’ve made it into a burrito of course. Listen to that amazing sound of running water. Love it Yeah

Relaxing Van Life Travel Vlog Through Mythical Viking Fjords | Trollstigen & Geiranger | Cozy Camping

After last week’s intense blizzard survival & winter snow storm camping, “Surviving My Scariest BLIZZARD Night | Van Life in Extreme Snow Storm | Cozy Winter Camping Alone”, this episode is a peaceful contrast — a relaxing and scenic van life journey through the legendary fjords of Norway. Join me as I camp above Geiranger, drive epic hairpin turns past massive waterfalls, and explore the rugged backroads of Viking and troll country.

From the dramatic cliffs of Geiranger to the famous Trollstigen (The Troll’s Ladder), this is a cinematic van life travel vlog filled with cozy camping moments, stunning views, and wild mountain roads.

When a rockslide blocks the path, I detour onto a hidden gravel track to reach a secluded creekside camp — where I cook a simple solo dinner and introduce a new member of the van life team.

This is slow living in wild nature — calming, immersive, and perfect for a relaxing escape.

👉 If you’re watching from the heatwave in the US, UK, or Canada — get cozy, grab a coffee, and enjoy the cool Norwegian air.

  8. Hei, min gode venn!
    Gratulerer, min venn!

  9. The views on this road is breathtaking! This is my favorite video! Amazing~~even around the road is spectacular! Thank you! ❤😊

  10. Hei, min venn!

  12. Hello buddy) pleasant appetite) How is your mood, weather? We again have cold rains from the north) I live like in Norway)

  13. I am from Cedar Creek Lake area on the water in Texas. No summer plans as yet. Might stay home. I loved the waterfalls in this video. And of course the mountains. Many are so very steep. Beautiful scenery. I would love to camp right beside the creek just like Jarl. Thank you for sharing this marvelous place with us and enjoy that breakfast ☺💛🏞❄

  14. I think you should call him (SNAER) if I'm correct I think it translates as snow king I'm probably wrong 😅 I don't know much Norwegian I just googled it

  15. They have world class rivers to fly fish in Northern Norway – Alta, Lakselv, Tana, Børselv, Kautokeino, Anarjohka, Reisa, Målselv, Skibotn, Kvænangselva, Saltdalselva, and Beiarelva. You should take some fly fishing classes this summer and film fishing for Sea Trout, Atlantic Salmon, Char and Brown Trout. That would be fun to watch you catch and cook one over birch wood.

  16. Mate! Cook your veges down for a bit before you add the eggs so you get more flavor coming out.
I always thought that it was the Trolls job to clear the roads from all the rock falls.

  18. I live in Finland. I visited Norway last summer. I fallen in love and I consider it is the most beautiful country in the world based on nature.

Man, your drone shots are like national geographic channel’s documentary. BTW how do you take those drone shots while driving 😮.

  19. What is your take on the anti tourism campaign? Are tourists getting worse or are locals beginning to feel like service employees, with few local options?
BTW, Magnificent scenery that’s so warm and inviting, sans snow.

  20. New videos are always so calming and relaxing to watch the music everything. Thank you for always delivering great videos.

  21. Hello! I’m watching from the USA, in Texas. In August, my sisters and I are taking my mom back to South Padre Island for her 87th birthday.
