【熊本】竜宮滝 編 （ Vol.150 ）／国道の真下？にある滝【4K】
Ryugu Falls
Yamato Town, Kamimashiki District Description of Ryugu Falls. This waterfall is located on the Oya River, a tributary of the Midori River, almost directly below the Ryugu Bridge on National Route 218. This waterfall is so large that it ranks among the many waterfalls in Yamato Town. This is the Kamikawaino area of Yamato Town, Kamimashiki District. The waterfall is a straight waterfall with a drop of 20m. When I looked closely from below the waterfall, I could see water flowing down from the left side and another waterfall in the distance on the right side. I think the waterfall in the back is the original Ryugu Falls. The water on the left appears to be left over from water brought in for the power plant. Ryugu Falls Power Station began commercial operation in 2015. The water resources, which were previously only used for irrigation, are now used to generate enough electricity to power approximately 500 average households for a year. The location is small so I can’t take aerial footage. Instead, we’ll provide audio of the waterfall. I hope you enjoy. Go upstream of the waterfall. Sutemon Kumamoto The End.
