私は途中で出てくるあんみつを食べていた「芋甚」のすぐ近くに中学生まで住んでいました。冬は太鼓焼き（大判焼き）夏は愛スキャンディーを買って家で食べていました。６０年も前の話です。私の友人は芋甚さんの２件隣に住んでいました。とても懐かしく拝見しました。

I'm a little shocked about the bird cafe existing in a progressive city like Tokyo. These poor birds. I can't imagine that they been held species-appropriate. Something extreme like that is unthinkable in Germany.
Loved this walk around. I wished I had seen it before I was in Tokyo, and staying in Ueno. A litteral walk through the park over to Nezu and an Owl Cafe!

その昔、芋甚店頭でモナカアイスを購入しようと並んで待っていると生前の談志師匠がやってきて、「こんなもん並んで食うもんじゃねえよ」とぼやきながら並びを越えて店内に入り、モナカアイスをくわえながらお店を出てきたのを目の当たりにしたのはよい思い出です。マイバルさんいつも楽しく拝見しております。これからも旅の記録を参考にさせていただきつつお二人の和む掛け合い、素敵ロードムービーを楽しみにしております。
