【旅VLOG】メルボルンから1.5時間✈️タスマニアの街歩き&絶品グルメ🍽

I bring you a VLOG of daily life in Australia! This video is a continuation of the previous one. In this video, we head from Melbourne to our next destination, Tasmania. Experience Tasmania, which has the cleanest air and water in the world! Enjoy the sequel to the Australian travel VLOG. Arriving at Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) Melbourne is a city full of art. There are many artworks even inside the airport. If you look closely at the walls of the corridor, you will see artworks lined up. Art is integrated into everyday life. Before boarding, we stopped off at Go! Espresso & Bar, where we met up with our family. We travel from Melbourne Airport to Hobart Airport. We will be using Australian airline Jetstar again this time. The flight time is about an hour and a half, and the air journey is a flash. The great Australian nature spreads across a vast area. This is the cityscape of Melbourne. Skyscrapers stand in the center. From the sky, you can see the balance between the city and nature. You can’t help but be mesmerized by the endless sea. “Tasmania” comes into view. It is an island floating in the south of Australia. Tasmania is the only area in Australia where the entire state is an island. It is located about 240 km south of the Australian mainland. The capital of Tasmania is “Hobart”. Australia’s southernmost state capital. Tasmania is said to be the place with the cleanest air in the world. The air is very clean because the winds from Antarctica reach the island directly. Tasmania has many natural World Heritage Sites. The island’s area is slightly smaller than Hokkaido (about 68,000 km²). The climate is cool, and there are few days when the temperature exceeds 30°C even in summer. It is an island blessed with rich nature and wildlife. More untouched nature than you can imagine. This island is also home to the famous “Tasmanian devil”. Fresh seafood, wine, honey and other gourmet foods are also popular. My first time in Tasmania will soon arrive. At Hobart Airport, I immediately discovered a statue of the Tasmanian devil. The Tasmanian devil is the animal that symbolizes this island. I left the airport and headed to the rental car location. Tasmania is large, so the basic way to get around is by car. The East Coast Car Park, which can be accessed by free shuttle from Hobart Airport, is a great place to get around. We arrived at the rentals. With a car, you can freely explore the great outdoors of Tasmania. Hobart is a quiet and peaceful port city with a population of about 240,000. The accommodation where we check in tonight is Bicheno. It is a small seaside town on the east coast of Tasmania. It is also known as a wine producing region. East Coast Car Rentals has a wide selection of car models. We rented a car and our trip to Tasmania finally began. It is about a 20-minute drive from East Coast Car Rentals to the center of Hobart. We head to Hobart, the largest city in Tasmania. There is only one road from the airport to the city center, so access is smooth. We head to Hobart, the largest city in Tasmania. The historic cityscape and the natural scenery of the mountains and sea are in harmony. We will soon park the car in Hobart and walk around the city of Hobart. A statue of a rabbit and a dog that we came across on a street corner. Rabbitwoman posing like a celebrity and Dogman holding a camera. A humorous piece of art by Gillie & Marc. After enjoying the unique art statue, we will stroll around Hobart’s historic district. Battery, where the old townscape remains I walked leisurely around Point. The building on the left is Salamanca Market, a Hobart specialty. I visited on a weekday, but on weekends it is a crowded market venue. On weekends, more than 300 stalls are lined up here. I arrived at Salamanca Place, the most famous street in Hobart. This stone building was originally a 19th century warehouse. Now it is a fashionable and popular area lined with cafes and galleries. Hobart also has local whiskey. In fact, Tasmania is famous for whiskey. There were also Tasmanian-style miscellaneous goods and souvenirs lined up. I arrived at “Harbour Lights Cafe”. It is a hidden spot along the waterfront. It is a restaurant loved by locals, where you can enjoy everything from breakfast to dinner. I enjoyed coffee and a light meal while looking out at the sea. I also saw a horse-drawn carriage in the city of Hobart. The food arrived and a fragrant aroma spread. I chose pie, Australia’s national dish. A spicy Aussie-style curry pie. The whole family ordered this pie. It was crispy on the outside and creamy with curry flavor inside! An evolved version of meat pie, the curry version. It was delicious! Leaving the shop, I went for a walk around the city again. Right in front of me was Hobart Port. Feeling the pleasant sea breeze~♪ Time flows slowly. It’s not too urban and is famous for being a city that is just easy to live in. The tranquility and nature are soothing. It’s fun to discover a new world. Take a deep breath and feel the earth , seeing scenery you’ve never seen before with your own eyes . Hobart has a population of about 200,000 . Wherever you walk, time flows slowly. It’s the second oldest city in Australia after Sydney, and it’s a place where history and nature peacefully blend together . I returned to Salamanca Place again to pick up my car. There are art galleries and cafes lined up, so even just walking is fun. I went to the local supermarket in Battery Point. It’s small, but stylish and has a wide selection! Local vegetables and fruits are displayed in a way that makes you want to buy them Locally produced jams and peanut butter are also popular A compact store full of Tasmanian charm A popular store visited by locals and tourists alike I also discovered local craft chocolate Tasmania is famous for its honey World-class Tasmanian honey Pure honey grown by bees The wide variety is fun just to look at And searching for wine to drink on Airbnb Tasmania is actually famous for its wine as well Its cool climate produces delicious wine I chose a bottle that was full of the blessings of nature I head back to pick up the rental car I had parked What kind of view will I see next? Driving while enjoying the scenery The streetscape is like something out of a storybook There are many stylish detached houses I feel the good old Australian way of life There are a row of cute houses with chimneys Driving through the hilly streetscape The beautiful sea and city view spread out before me We are heading to our next destination Now we are going to Wellington Park It is an area surrounded by nature on the west side of Hobart Park the car in the parking lot and walk to the observation deck Observation deck area on the slope of Mount Wellington (Kunanyi) Refresh in the nature A beautiful garden surrounding the exhibition hall of the World Heritage Site It was a few minutes walk from the parking lot to the observation deck The Springs, located at an altitude of about 720m, offers a panoramic view of the city of Hobart and the sea Although the sky was cloudy, I was relieved that I could see the view ☁️ Even the view that is not perfect will become a memory of the trip. I enjoyed nature as it is I discovered a cute creature in the forest If you look closely… It’s an echidna! ? You can see a glimpse of its needle-like back It lives quietly in nature I ‘m back in the city of Hobart The classic exterior is lovely Tonight’s dinner is here at “The ASTOR Grill”. It’s actually a long-established steakhouse that has been around since the 1940s . It has a wide variety of menu items using local Tasmanian ingredients! On this day, at my brother’s request, I ordered a Tasmanian beef steak! They also have a wide variety of wines. First, we toasted with red wine;) Tasmania, wine is also the best. First of all, the whipped butter melts from the fluffy bread … delicious! And… Crispy cauliflower. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The main steak was brought to us. The chunks of meat are appetizing. The steak is cooked medium rare and can be enjoyed in a classical space. A famous restaurant for Tasmanian beef. Colorful salads and hearty vegetables are plentiful with subdued lighting, perfect for a special evening. Everything was delicious and filled my heart. A happy evening on my first day in Tasmania. Finally, a chocolate dessert appeared. The taste and atmosphere were perfect! Thank you for the meal. After leaving the restaurant, we headed to get our car. Now we’re heading to Bicheno, where we’re staying . We’re leaving the center of Hobart! It’s a long drive of about 2 and a half hours by car. Driving along the seaside road, Bicheno is a small town on the east coast of Tasmania . It is a quiet area surrounded by beautiful beaches and nature . It is also famous as a place where you can meet penguins . Returning to the road we took earlier, we head towards Bicheno. As evening passes, the sky gradually darkens. At night in Tasmania, animals become active. Kangaroos and possums may even jump out! Drive at a moderate speed and drive safely. The roads are well maintained and easy to drive on. ◎ This video is up to this point. In this video, we showed you the scenery in Hobart, the center of Tasmania. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful port city scenery, walking around the city, and even dinner. I hope you can feel a little bit of a travel mood. Next time, we will show you the second day of Tasmania. We booked a cruise tour. We are excited about the beautiful sea and the world of wildlife. Please look forward to it. We will continue to deliver Australian outings and lifestyles;) See you in the next video!
