This is Ome City in Tokyo We are hiking along the Nagabuchiyama hiking trail We are heading to Akabokko I heard that the place has a nice view Arrived at Akabokko These stones can be found all over the mountains When the Great Kanto Earthquake occurred in 1923 the topsoil in this area collapsed exposing the red soil This must be the best in Tokyo! to be continued

うららかな春の日に東京都の青梅市を訪れました。
日向和田駅から歩き始め、花に満ちた梅の公園に立ち寄り、
山道の長淵山ハイキングコースへ、
「赤ぼっこ」では東京中を見渡す素晴らしい眺望に感激しました。
夕方には天祖神社へ到着。
ここはカタクリの花が群生する場所なのですが、
カタクリは東京都の絶滅危惧種。
はたして、咲いている花を見ることができたでしょうか。
