The city of Nowshahr is one of the most beautiful and smallest cities in Iran. This city has a population of about 50 thousand people. The Caspian Sea is connected to Iran from the south, to Russia from the north, to Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan from the east, and to Azerbaijan from the west. Most small cities in the north of Iran have local markets like this one. You can come to these markets to buy the freshest fruits, food, vegetables, and even handicrafts. In these markets, many families sell their agricultural products. You can also buy the freshest fish from the Caspian Sea in this market. A kilo of potatoes costs about 40 cents in this market A pack of Dates costs about 50 cents Iran is one of the exporters of dates in the world, dates are grown in the south of Iran. Walking in this market is very enjoyable. You can buy organic and delicious fruits at cheap prices. That is why many tourists come to these cities for recreation. Many people in this city have jobs in agriculture, animal husbandry and fishing. In the north of Iran you can buy the best and highest quality rice, tea, citrus fruits and fish. The city of Nowshahr is a quiet and beautiful city. A city with very clean air and kind people This city is about 155 km from Tehran (the capital of Iran). You can get here from Tehran in about 3 hours by car. To do this, you have to cross the Chalus road. This is the Chalus road. This road is located in the Alborz mountain range. The Chalus road is one of the most beautiful mountain roads in Iran and the world. Out of curiosity, is Nowshahr near the Caspian Sea? When my grandparents visited Iran decades ago, they visited a lot of cities and towns all over Iran, including the Caspian Sea.
