今日の京都旅行は朝9時にスタート！
Today’s trip in Kyoto starts at 9 a.m. 予約した「イロドリキョウト」で着物をレンタルします
Rent a kimono at the “Irodori Kyoto” where I reserved. レンタルできる着物（夏は浴衣）がずらり！
All kinds of kimonos (yukata in summer) available for rent! 履物も一緒にレンタルできます
You can rent zori (Japanese sandals) as well. では早速、着物を選びましょう！

Lace on the obi is the year 2020 style! 髪型セットは+1000円。ドライフラワーをつけてみました！
Hair set is +1000 yen. I put dried flowers on it! 荷物や洋服は全てお店に預けて、出発します！
Leave all your luggage and clothes at the store and off we go! お店から歩いてすぐ、見えてきたのは…？
As I was walking from the store, I saw…? 聖徳太子創建とされる法観寺。通称「八坂の塔」です
The five-story pagoda that is said to have been built in 592. 「いま八坂の塔を通り過ぎて来たんですけど、

Here is the “plus spots” around Yasaka Tower! 日本三大庚申のひとつで、日本最古でもある「八坂庚申堂」
“Yasaka-Koshin-do”. One of the three major Koshin temples in Japan. まず最初にお参りをします
First of all, I’m going to pray. このカラフルなもの、なにか分かりますか？
Can you guess what these colorful things are? これは「くくり猿」と言って、参拝者が願掛けをして奉納するもの
This is “Kukuri-zaru”, dedicated by the visitors to the temple to make a wish. わたしも１つ、願掛けをしてみます！（1個500円）
Well, I’m going to make a wish for one! (500yen) 「黄色」のくくり猿にしました
I’ve decided on the yellow “Kukuri-zaru”. ”願いを叶えるには欲を抑える”必要があるため、猿の手足がくくられています
“To make a wish come true, control yourself.” That’s why the monkey is tied up. 願いごとを書いたら、境内に奉納します
Write your wish and dedicate it to the shrine. 「叶いますように！」
“May my wish come true!” 「先ほど八坂の塔で写真を撮ったんですけど、」

THIS IS THE “Starbucks Coffee” actually! I’m going in. この店舗は、築100年を超える伝統的な日本家屋を改築した店舗です
This store is a renovated traditional Japanese house that is over 100 years old. メニューは通常のお店と一緒
The menu is the same as the regular store. 店舗の奥には小さな庭園も！
There’s even a small Japanese garden at the back of the store! 2Fへ上がっていきます
Going up to the second floor. お座敷があるスターバックスは世界でもここだけ。
This is the only Starbucks in the world that has a “sitting room”. もちろん”土足は禁止どす”！　靴を脱いであがります
Of course, no shoes on the floor! Please take off shoes before entering. まだ11時ですが、混む前に早めのランチタイム
It’s only 11:00, but we”ll have an early lunch before it gets too crowded. 「阿古屋茶屋（あこやちゃや）」
”Akoya-chaya” お漬物とお茶漬けのバイキングが楽しめるお店です
You can enjoy a buffet of Japanese pickles and ochazuke (rice with tea). お漬物は常時20種類以上！　定番のものから、変わり種まで様々
There are always over 20 varieties of Japanese pickles! 「いっぱいとっちゃいました！」
”I took a lot! ” お漬物はそのまま食べてもよし、お茶漬けにしてもよし◎
You can enjoy the pickles as they are, or you can eat them with tea. 「あー、お腹いっぱい！」
”I’m so full!” 「次に向かうのは”三年坂”、”産寧坂”とも言いますが、
“The next stop is “Sannen-zaka”, also known as “Sannei-zaka”, 長い階段が綺麗な町並みに向かいます。

Cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, autumn leaves in fall. “アジサイがきれい！”
”Hydrangeas are beautiful!” 「音羽の滝」
”Otowa-no-Taki (Otowa Waterfall)” 3本の水それぞれにご利益があると言われています（諸説あり）
Each of the three bottles of water is said to be beneficial (some theories) 鮮やかな朱色の塔が美しい！
This bright vermilion tower is beautiful! 清水寺の境内には「地主神社」があります
Jishu Shrine is located in the precincts of Kiyomizu Temple. 学生に人気の「恋愛の神様」がいる神社です
This is a shrine where the “God of Love” is popular among students. 「この地主神社の境内には”恋占いの石”があって、
“In this shrine, there is a Rock for divining love, この手前の石から、向こう側の遠い石まで
from the stone in front of this one to the far stone on the other side, 目をつぶって歩いてたどり着けたら、恋が叶うと言われています
It is said that if you can walk there with your eyes closed, your love will come true! …ということで！　私も久しぶりにやってみます！
…so I’m going to try it for the first time in a while! 「そろそろ？」「全然！まだ先！」
”Is it close?”　”Not at all! Still a long way to go.” 「これでしゃがんでいい？」
”Is this a good place to finish?” 「私めっちゃすごくない！？？？」
”Aren’t I so amazing?” 「願い事かなっちゃう！♡」
”I’m going to get my wish!” と 続いての目的地はこちらです！
Here’s our next stop! 安井金比羅宮です
Yasui Konpiragu shrine. まず、本殿に参拝しましょう
First of all, please go to the main shrine. 安井金比羅宮は「悪縁を切り、良縁を結ぶ」神社
Here’s a shrine that “cuts off bad relationships and creates good ones”. こちらがその「縁切り縁結び碑」というもの
“The power stone monument for
breaking off bad and initiating good relationships” 「形代」に願い事を書きます
Write down your wishes on the KATASHIRO. 「この札を碑に貼ります」
”Stick it on the monument in any place you like.” 「形代」は貼る前に、手に持ちながらまず碑を「表」から「裏」へくぐり、
Originally, before sticking it, go through “front” to “back” of the monument, そして再び「裏」から「表」へくぐって戻ってきます
and then go from “back” to “front” again. こうすることで「悪縁を切り、良縁を結ぶ」ことができるそう
In this way”breaking off bad and initiating good relationships”. 今回楽しみにしていた店が近づいてきました！

“Produced by the oldest ice shop in Kyoto.” 器まですべて氷のかき氷！

I ordered the Fresh Squeezed Lemon flavor. 「氷が器になってます！」
”The ice is in the bowl!” 友達は「生搾りオレンジ」にしたみたい♪
My friend chose the “fresh squeezed orange” one! 「うーん、冷たくて美味しい〜！」
”Mmm, cold and delicious!” 最後には器もちょっと溶けてきたよ
The bowl is starting to melt a little bit in the end. 今回最後のスポットがこちらです
Here’s the last spot for this time! 八坂神社です
Yasaka Shrine. 祇園エリアにある、京都随一の由緒ある神社。
This is one of the oldest shrines in Kyoto, located in the Gion area. 日本三大祭の「祇園祭」は、ここ八坂神社の祭礼です
The Gion Festival, one of Japan’s three major festivals, is a one of Yasaka Shrine. 「お参りが終わったので、入ってきた門と違う門から出ます」
I’m done praying, so leaving through a different gate than I came in through. 八坂神社は目の前が「四条通」。
Yasaka Shrine is located right in front of Shijo Street (main street). ここからバスでいろんな観光スポットに行けるし、
You can take a bus to many sights from here. 地下鉄の駅にも歩いて行くことができるので、
and you can walk to the subway station. 八坂神社を拠点に観光するのもおすすめです
Yasaka Shrine is a good base for sightseeing. （レンタル着物は18時半までに返却）
