if you enjoy off-roading and visiting historic sites then you’re going to enjoy this location in southwest colorado that i recently discovered it’s called the bachelor loop historic tour and it is located in creed colorado i’ve got a little bit of information for you really quick the bachelor loop historic tour is a 17-mi drive through the historic mining district above creed colorado the tour takes you across mine locations from the 1890s and abandoned ghost towns that once rivaled creed in size the road weaves its way up through the canyon north of creed climbing under the ragged cliff sides a number of interpretive stops and points of interest provide direction along the route they are indicated by large wooden timbers on the ground displaying tour stop numbers and a miner’s pick and shovel logo these video clips you’re watching were taken right at the beginning of the bachelor loop if you’ve got time i would also visit the town of creed there’s a ton of cool stuff to see including the creed reparatory theater and the creed mining museum you can also do some rockhounding along the river but anyway that’s all i’ve got for you today i’m going to end this video with a few photos for you to check out you can pause and read them if you’re interested in visiting thanks for watching we’ll see you next time

The Bachelor Loop

The Bachelor Loop Historic Driving Tour is a 17-mile drive through the historic mining district above Creede, Colorado. The tour takes you across mine locations from the 1890s and abandoned ghost towns that once rivaled Creede in size. The road weaves its way up through the canyon north of Creede climbing under the ragged cliff sides.

A number of interpretive stops and points of interest provide direction along the route. They’re indicated by large wooden timbers on the ground, displaying tour stop numbers and a miner’s pick and shovel logo.
