台湾1日観光 詰め込みすぎるとヤバい…実際どうなった? | 台湾2025 | 九份&西門町&中正記念堂

Wait a sec… This is insane. I think we probably need to take this. This is the hotel we’re staying at on Day 2. Look at this. This is way too crazy… Right here, across the street… And then across that again… It looks like this. We’re right in the center. The center of the center. And yet, it’s the same price as the hotel from Day 1. But the Day 1 hotel had breakfast included. This one’s 10,000 yen with no breakfast. Check-in isn’t until 4 PM, so we haven’t seen the room yet— —but right next to it is Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. Now we’re heading to the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and then to Ximending, a trendy area like Harajuku in Tokyo. Today’s route is Shifen and then Jiufen. So let’s go all out and enjoy this day to the fullest! Look how huge this is. It’s called the Memorial Hall. I remember seeing this on ItteQ (a Japanese TV show). Three… two… one… What do you think? Ah, a parade. Maybe there’s some kind of event going on today? They’ve got something going on over there too. There’s a giant figure inside. Alright, let’s go up now. Aren’t these stairs crazy? Wow, this is amazing. My heart is pounding. They’ve posted some rules here, so I’ll read them real quick. Open from 9 AM to 5 PM daily. Performances are held every morning. Department of Civil Theory (← unclear wording from source) By the way, the view up here is crazy. Look at that. That is SO cute. Found a vending machine! They have Kuromi! (Sanrio character) Should we try buying a Hello Kitty can? These cute Avengers designs—I wanna take them home!
I want to keep them unopened and display them. Probably impossible though… Yeah, probably not… Let’s open it! It’s not Hello Kitty though… But that’s the one I pressed! Wait—was it random? Ohh, that’s how it works? Guess I’ll have to collect them all. Didn’t know there was an entrance like this too. Wow! Oh, is that a model? So this was the entrance earlier.
It’s huge! Just two stations away, and the scenery completely changes again. Whoa, what is this?? Taking a photo? That’s a huge line. Oh wow, yeah, a long line. It feels totally different here.
Kind of pop-style. Pop and galaxy vibes. You see this a lot in Taiwan— like, girls attach them to their backpacks. Capybaras are really popular, huh? 390 NTD. This Uniqlo’s got that pop vibe too. Look—Uniqlo. CoCo Ichibanya, Starbucks… wait, a pig? Amazing, amazing! Time to eat! Let’s start with the Lu Rou Fan. Finally, I’m trying Lu Rou Fan for the first time!
Been wanting to! It’s like… minced meat, kind of? It’s got a gentle flavor, and the sauce soaks in nicely. Delicious. This is *our* Bib Gourmand spot! There’s actually a Bib Gourmand Lu Rou Fan spot— It’s super crowded there. That matcha looks so good. We just had Lu Rou Fan earlier, right? It was more like minced meat, kinda like soboro. But what I imagined Lu Rou Fan to be was— like thin slices of meat, almost like char siu. That’s what I expected. Maybe it depends on the restaurant? Oh, you mean the Lu Rou Fan? I didn’t reserve a seat, but I think— we need to ride this one.
But every seat’s reserved. Guess we needed a reservation after all. We might be out of luck. It’s closed now. Yeah, looks like it’s reservation only. So which one are we taking? Destination? Which one’s the destination? Seriously? 13:49!? …13:49!? We messed up… “HANAMIZUKI” (a popular Japanese song) The temperature is 32°C, humidity 75%! The entrance to Jiufen is packed. Everyone’s holding handkerchiefs over their nose
just to use the toilet. It’s rough. But once you’re actually inside Jiufen, there’s AC from the stores,
so it’s pretty cool. This!
This one? This is… a sample?
A sample!? Once we’re back in Taipei, I’m gonna blow this. Alright, let’s dig in.
Itadakimasu! No reservation? No reservation? So we gotta line up, huh? That’s wild. This is that building from *Spirited Away*. I wonder how long the wait is? It’s amazing at night. There are still so many people here even now. Wow, we’re walking on the red lantern path! She’s pouting. (laughs) Maybe she’s full?
Like, “don’t look at me”? You’re so cute. Taiwanese knickknacks are honestly super nostalgic. Look at this Fujiya Girl figure! It has a Showa-era vibe. It’s really nice. After strolling through Jiufen’s shopping street— You can swing by here while waiting for your return bus.
Highly recommended. Alright, wrapping things up in Jiufen. We’re meeting up in front of the Jiufen 7-Eleven. To link up with someone who already booked the return bus. Looks like this is the line. Now we’re heading to the hotel for Day 2 and 3
to check in! They’ll drive us back in a little van like that one. And it’s only 100 yen per person— Wait no— 100 NTD per person! Not yen—
It’s like 1,000 yen in Japanese currency. Here’s the hotel for Day 2 and 3. Smaller than the first hotel,
but still nice and clean. It’s a standing shower. Comes with shampoo and body soap only. And the bidet here— is the handheld type. Feels like meeting an idol at a handshake event.
