東伊豆 2泊3日旅行記 中編：杜の湯 きらの里で絶品溶岩焼きと温泉の夢の旅！ ~East IZU Trip V-Log Part-2/ENG Sub.~
After sightseeing, we return to Izu Kogen Station We go to today’s hotel Please see this V-LOG about Day-1 lunch and sightseeing We take the shuttle bus to hotel It takes about 5 minutes by shuttle bus The gate is now in sight We have arrived Mori no Yu Kiranosato Kiranosato is the inn with a theme of traditional Japanese landscapes We can feel nostalgic living experience in country area Room plan is a private room – Umi Hotaru I like this concept of nostalgic Japanese landscapes I’ve been coming here since I was single Check-in is completed Indoor wear is a work uniform Uniform size will be as same as casual wear We’ll pick out amenities we need Now, let’s go to our room We came here in 2020. So, it’s been 5 years Umi Hotaru room is convenient because it’s close to front and restaurant Room 205, so it’s on 2nd floor Room 205 is this way Quick room tour Private room-Umi Hotaru, Room 205 Studio type, smallest room for 2 people When I was single, I stayed here Double-sized bed There’s a sofa A small work space and A small TV Great view, we can see Sagami Bay We can see Izu Oshima in the distance Is Umi Hotaru the only room with ocean view? There’s a tea set near TV There’s a coffee machine and a washbasin Another washbasin is near bathroom Amenities are provided at the front desk There’s a toilet There is a shower room Kiranosato has large hot spring bathes. So, we may not use shower room Back to the room, this is closet Work clothes are provided at the front desk There is Japanese Hanten coat to wear when it is cold There is a refrigerator under the coffee maker There are two complimentary bottles of water There is the locker It’s compact and nice That’s it for room tour Let’s take a walk around Kiranosato This is the front desk where we checked in Let’s go into front desk There is a shop next to check-in counter Satoyama souvenir shop They sell a variety of souvenirs I bought this jam. It’s delicious These pecan nuts are also delicious We can buy some drinks here, too Welcome drink corner It’s a nice service Opposite the front desk There’s a restaurant Waterwheel is turning The scenery is like a canal in country area Above the front desk, there is a hotel-type room- Yawatano Introducing a photo from 5 years ago Bedroom is separate, so it’s spacious and comfortable They hold shooting events Seasonal events like this are fun There’s also an old playground equipment corner There’s also foot bath, so please enjoy it if you like If you walk up the slope from event plaza There’s a villa-style room-Yama no Oto 50m2 class, massage chair included, I’d like to stay there Let’s go a little further There are rabbits here So cute Oh, it moved We can’t touch them It feels like living in the countryside Across the street is large hot spring bathes Bath is slightly far from all rooms If it’s sunny, no problem to walk There are three types of private bathes No reservation. We can get the key from here It might be crowded. Please try Let’s go further in Here is used to be a rice field Because it is spring holiday week, carp streamers are flying Houses around here are Takebue Winter photo. Japanese heated table-Kotatsu is nice Takebue has a hot spring bath for each room Chirping of the birds is relaxing We can sometimes see squirrels I didn’t see a squirrel unfortunately I’m walking around slowly. So, it’s already dinner time Seafood restaurant Umitsubaki and lava-grill Yamaboshi We can choose one at check in Seafood shabu-shabu hot pot is very delicious This time I try lava-grill dinner Lava-grill Yamaboshi entrance Let’s go I was shown to a counter seat Check dinner menu There’s a wide variety of dishes, so I’m expecting great dinner Select menu is also wonderful Drinks menu. Stylish cocktails Local beer is also fun Japanese sake tasting set is also great Aperitif and appetizer platter arrived Sesame tofu, grilled Spanish mackerel, white fish with egg It’s like Japanese traditional Kaiseki style. Wonderful Cheers with plum wine aperitif It’s a little sour Let’s enjoy appetizers White fish with egg looks like steamed egg custard I can really taste whitebait. Delicious Drinks have arrived, so let’s cheers again Local beer is fragrant. Very nice New Summer Orange juice is refreshing Back to the appetizer, grilled Spanish mackerel I’ll have it with wild vegetables Yes, it’s refreshing I don’t usually eat wild vegetables, so this feels special How about sesame tofu? I can smell wasabi Izu is famous for wasabi Appetizers are quite elaborate Next is tomato and watercress soup That’s an interesting combination Wow, tomatoes is big Yeah, sweet and sour taste is nice I’m grating wasabi myself to use on next sashimi That’s an interesting idea Mumm, it smells good Assorted sashimi arrived From the left: Amberjack, Turban shell Tuna and red snapper For sashimi, I order local Japanese sake tasting set Let’s enjoy red snapper Very chewy and delicious Next is turban shell. It’s so luxurious Let’s eat Hmm? It’s very chewy Are there two types of tuna? Fatty tune and lean tuna? I’ll have lean tuna Ah, so excellent Shizuoka is famous for tuna Red snapper hot pot is done Red snapper fillets are large It’s fatty and delicious White miso taste is great With Japanese sake It matches with Japanese sake Lava grilled BBQ set has arrived From the right, Beef ribs Next is Beef rib roast. Behind is Pork shoulder roast Venison sausage is unusual And chicken. The portions are really generous Dip sources are steak sauce and green onion salt sauce Which one should I grill first? Beef ribs are better Even so, it’s a generous portion It seems they served extra portions during spring holiday week Shall we start grilling some vegetables? Lava plate is full Seafood shabu-shabu hotpot course is delicious I also recommend Lava grill dinner course Beef ribs are done I’ll have it with steak sauce Mmmmm, fantastic Which steakhouse is this? It’s amazing. Marvelous, meaty and juicy It would be best cooked rare Next is Pork shoulder I’ll try it with green onion and salt sauce Yeah, salt sauce is very nice It tastes like green onion oil Pork is big It’s rich and delicious. It matches with green onion salt sauce Red wine for lava grilling Yakiniku makes me drink red wine. Nice This is my 1st time trying venison sausage It’s hot It’s oily and rich It doesn’t have any bad smell. It’s fine It’s really meaty Wasabi is included. So, it smells like herbs How about Beef rib roast? With steak sauce It’s completely different from Beef Kalbi rib It feels more muscular It’s filling than expected Izu is also famous for Shiitake mushrooms I’ll have it with steak sauce Yup, flavor is amazing It’s juicy and delicious From select menu, my wife chooses steamed abalone with vinegar source Refreshing. Very nice Wow, abalone is big Steamed abalone is soft and tasty My choice is fried alfonsino Let’s eat with Worcestershire sauce Delicious alfonsino Fatty and excellent In my opinion, tartar sauce is better I really feel I’ve come to Izu! My last dish is clam rice Let’s enjoy Red miso soup is good My wife has salted bonito Chazuke (Tea over Rice) Chazuke looks delicious, too Dessert time Shizuoka Jutaro mandarin sorbet Very refreshing How about another one? It’s a sweet milk pudding Everything was perfect It’s very satisfying dinner Thank you very much The day has turned into night Let’s relax in our room Let’s take hot spring bathes Kiranosato night is moody Sound of water is soothing It’s lit up. Beautiful It’s a little chilly at night It is fine even working uniform only It’s nice to take a walk at night while feeling night breeze Let’s go large hot spring Effect of hot spring is for beautiful skin There are various types of baths, both indoors and outdoors We can splash around in pot bathes We can also relax in lie-down bath I enjoyed very much Ice cream service is wonderful I came late. So, it’s almost sold out Probiotic drink service is also grate Wow, it’s great hot springs Private baths are vacant at late time Let’s go back to our room Free midnight soba from 10pm I’m already full by Yakiniku dinner I’ll try it next time I’ve already had hot spring and evening drink Let’s go to bed Good night Good morning Today is very fine day There’s fog over the sea We can’ t see Izu Oshima I’m ready to go to breakfast For breakfast, we enter from seafood restaurant, Umitsubaki Counter seat, just same as dinner My wife has Japanese breakfast Kiranosato recommends Japanese breakfast I try Western breakfast Cheers with morning drink Orange juice is good for our body Western breakfast is stylish Wife’s Japanese breakfast has amazing variety of dishes Let’s enjoy I’ll have salad first Yes, it’s fresh, unlike Tokyo Roast beef for breakfast is so rich Let’s eat It’s very filling! Maybe my wife should grill dried horse mackerel Before solid fuel runs out Eel is service during spring holiday week Actually, my wife doesn’t like eel Instead of her, I’ll eat it Please grill it together I’ll have butter roll bread Yes, it’s delicious I’ll have the thick omelet Cheese sauce is great! I can’t feel gorgonzola too much. I like it Let’s eat croquette Mishima croquette is a Shizuoka specialty. Very nice Then, onion soup Having soup for breakfast gets me excited This thick omelet is nice Yup, it’s wonderful The omelet is fragrant Sakura shrimp is included Dried fish is cooked nicely I can feel I’ve come to Izu! How about croissant? Yeah, it’s moist Tasty Let’s eat sausage Crunchy! Yes, sausage is plump and juicy Gotemba sausage is a local manufacturer Let’s enjoy the complimentary grilled eel Mishima is famous for eel Yes, it’s fragrant It’s amazing that they serve eel as free Seafood ratatouille is done Very hot It’s so tender Oh, cheese is melting Lots of eggplant and vegetables, so good Let’s eat Yup, it’s wonderful It’s chicken, isn’t it? Cheese, tuna, and sea bream Oh, it’s seafood ratatouille (what’s chicken?) Very special It’s pretty rich. Cheese is strong It’s rich, so I want some bread It matches with simple white bread Dessert time Yogurt? Almond jelly Almond jelly is good for breakfast Fruit Strawberries are ripe. Delicious How about melon in early May? Wow Melon is also ripe. Amazing I ate it all. Fantastic I usually had Japanese breakfast I can also recommend Western breakfast Thank you very much There’s still time before check-out Let’s have a morning bath Private bath is vacant Let’s try private Iwaza bath I’m glad to take private bath Arrived at private Iwaza bath Enjoying hot spring Very nice morning bath In this stay, I conquered 2 of 3 private baths I’ll try the remaining Chikusen bath next time It’s time to check out It’s a great stay We take a shuttle bus to station Thank you very much.
