Suzuka Circuit – Japanese F1 Grand Prix 4k walking tour
We will walk around Suzuka circuit during day 3 and 2
of the Japanese Grand Prix The first part (in red)
is from east to west The second part (in white),
shows west to east We are starting from the 1st corner gate
(if you come by train you will arrive here) And walk through the fanzone,
past the paddock area and see some of the attractions
that you can visit during the GP Later we will see parts of the West zone
(general admission area) Today is race day (day3) One early advice in case you plan to come
on a future edition If you plan to buy
souvenirs or merchandise Many sell out by day 2.
So if they’re important for you it’s recommended to arrive early
on day 2, or day 1 You can see the Paddock on the background The circuit is quite large,
with many things to see and do So between qualy and races
you’ll be occupied. It is also quite large (one of F1’s longer circuits). So moving frome one point to the next
takes some time By the way, if you don’t want to walk too much there are shuttle buses to get you
to the west area To the right you can see a man in green
that signals the way to the shuttle buses Although most signage is also in English,
there might be some that is only in Japanese Yuki Tsunoda was announced as
Red Bull’s second driver only a few days before the GP And you can see his image
all over Red Bull seem to be the most popular
team in Japan as of 2025 We are now in the main Fan zone Next to the Suzuka circuit offical store
there is Yuki Tsunoda official merchandise The official Suzuka circuit shop is very popular By now (racing day) it’s almost sold out Here you can find the team’s
official stores On this stage they conduct interviews
or music sets at certain points As you can see, Ferrari’s store is also
almost sold out This is the entrance that
connects to the Pool side gate and the Main gate. If you arrive by car,
you will come through here The ferrari samurai are very popular Beyond the tunnel, you can find
the Suzuka amusement park The circuit area has some attractions though Like the famous ferris wheel,
which is free with your race ticket Other attractions cost extra There are a lot of food stands
all thoughout the curcuit If you’re vegan or vegetarian,
there will be few or no options though. So you should bring your own food we exit the fanzone and go towards the
rides and the Honda gallery This is the Honda racing gallery It is also free to visit with your race ticket It is practically a small racing museum,
so it’s worth to stop by You can see a few cars from Honda’s
f1 history Including some legendary ones like
Ayron Senna’s This is just a brief view, as it’s possible
to stay here for about 40-60 minutes There is also an underground floor
with motorcycles But we won’t visit it today This is the entrance to
the ferris wheel We are now walking towards the Chicane gate This is one of the other rides
(not included with the race ticket) And the go kart circuit As you would expect, there are
always lines for the toilets Certain views of the circuit are blocked
to prevent people to stop But there are plenty of unobstructed views up ahead We will now walk beneath Q2 stand Seats in stands are fixed,
numbered and more comfortable But there are also seating spots in the
general area To the right is the Chicane gate,
also a good option if you come by train The race is minutes away from starting This is one of the many general areas
with unobstructed views of the circuit As you can see, many poeple bring
their own chairs or picnic mats So the ambience is similar
to a large picnic or camping site although there are a number of food stands,
and people line up constantly As of 2025 you can bring your own food If you don’t arrive early,
don’t worry There are many many spots to stand or sit And it can even be an advantage if you can move around As you’ll see the race from various perspectives It is worth noting that the general
areas have very few screens We have been walking from East to West
all this time Next we we’ll walk from the west Fanzone,
to the middle section you see below and finish around this same area we are at now on the background you can
see the racing simulators they are closed during the race Now we will walk from West to East,
right during qualy So you can get an idea of how close
you can get to the cars And how close you can hear the
motors Headphones are strongly recommended here
so you can listen in stereo Please note it was a very windy day,
so even with wind covers Yiu might hear some wind noise now and then As you can see, you can get really close
to the track There are some tunnels to cross
to the other side of the track We will cross a different one in a bit We will now cross this tunnel under the track and look for
different vantage points Since they changed the GP
to early spring The grass is still dry from
the winter season We will climb the stairs to get a better
view of the track You can freely climb the stairs
but standing or sitting is not allowed Now we will cross again
back to our main path Qualy has ended, so people are heading
towards the gates Max Verstappen won pole position The narration through the speakers
is in Japanese But you can hear the English one
if you bring a radio (Max Verstappen interview) I hope you can get an idea of the
atmosphere at the Japanese GP And the type of freedom you have
to move around the circuit especially in the West zone After Q3 the road to the exit became very crowded,
so we’ll end this part here I will leave you with a fragment of
the award ceremony and the circuit as viewed from the ferris wheel By the way, Max Verstappen won the race Thank you for watching
