Nagasaki and the Horrors of Atomic Bomb 🇯🇵 S8 EP 111 | Pakistan to Japan Motorcycle Tour

At 10:50 am, a B-29 was launched into the sky over Nagasaki. The B-29 boxer, which was equipped with a nuclear bomb dropped a plutonium-type nuclear bomb from a height of about 9,000 meters above Nagasaki. At 11:02 am, a B-29 was launched into the sky over Matsuyama. Assalam o Alaikum and welcome back to the channel from Oita, Kyushu. I have reached the South of Japan’s main island. I had planned to visit Nagasaki and then will get back. Today’s plan is to visit Mount Aso, a beautiful volcanic mountain on the way. Then I will leave for Nagasaki. It will be an adventurous ride today and then I’ll enter the city. Let’s see when will I reach the city. I will leave for Nagasaki though a ferry. I will go and pick up my motorcycle. Then, I will go back to the hotel and pack my luggage. Then I will leave for Nagasaki. I have deposited 1000 here. I have got the money back. My motorcycle is parked here. I had also tied my helmet here. There is a small lock here for the helmets. I think anyone can take your motorcycle by depositing money. Because there is no ID or anything like that. I have paid for the motorcycle. It’s safe here. You can park your motorcycle outside and lock it. Anyone can take your motorcycle by depositing money. Since Japan is safe, there are no such issues here. Let’s leave for the hotel. I had parked my motorcycle here for two days. I rested yesterday because I was feeling unwell. So I decided to take rest for a day. I have paid 300 yen for two days. 150 yen for a day. Approximately 300 yen are 2 USD. So it’s cheap. This is a small city. There was not much to do here. So I took rest. And edited a video. Normally I do this. The day I have to edit a video, I try to take rest. Let me pack my luggage. (prayer for journey) May I have a safe and blessed day ahead. ‘There is hustle and bustle at night here. These are all bars and clubs. It is very quiet here in the morning. I’ve added the Mount Asu in navigation. It’s about 102 km. It will take about two hours and fifteen minutes to reach there. This area is very scenic. I will enjoy the interesting spots. After that I will leave for Nagasaki. What a ride it was. I covered a distance of about 90 km. It is a very beautiful area. I did not have breakfast in the morning. So I decided to get something. The good thing about Japan’s travel is the convenience stores here. If you don’t find a cafe or restaurant, at least you get a decent meal from here. Whatever you want, lunch or breakfast. I just got coffee from here and my favorite onigiri. Apart from that, I have chocolate croissant. One more thing. Today I have boiled egg. So I thought this will be my lunch and breakfast. I will also rest here. and I will also decide to go through which road ahead. I will go through a scenic road ahead. There was main road behind. So let’s avoid the main road. I hope this is not a raw egg. I thought it might be raw. No, it is boiled. Today we can see bikers everywhere. It is Saturday. People are enjoying on weekend. The good thing about Japan is that almost every small or big town has a beautiful scenic area. I have to go towards those mountains. Drones are prohibited here. So I can’t fly a drone here. Thank you. They are just checking if my medical condition is okay. I thought I have to pay a toll here. It is not fair that if you go to a touristy place, you can’t even fly a drone there. I have to pay a toll here. How much for a motorcycle? 400 Yen. Thank you. 400 Yen is equivalent to 800 Pakistani Rupees. I think it is around 3 dollars. 2.75 to 3 dollars. There are bikers. Let’s park there. I have reached the top of the crater. You can see the smoke behind me. The height of this place is 1270 meters. In feet, it is around 4200 feet. I have never been to such a heightened place in Japan so far. Maybe I have covered such a pass on a motorcycle. It is one of my favorite rides in Japan. As there was a lot of variation in the landscape. There were mountains in the beginning and then forests. Then I reached the plateau type area and reached the top of the crater. It is called Mount Asu and it’s a volcanic crater. The city next to it is also called Asu. The plan is to go through a different route. Let’s see how many different angles I can capture from this place. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to fly a drone here. I think that the drone would have captured it’s real beauty. Anyway, we are not allowed to fly a drone. Let’s leave from here. Nagaso? I think it’s a wrong name. This is Nagasco. This is Tairako. 1500 yen. Cash only. The diggy is nice. You can keep your luggage in the diggy. Supposed to go through number 1. This is worth 1500 yen. Approximately 10 to 11 dollars. I think this must be a small ferry. I was getting them for 4,500 yen. I have reached the very south of Japan. When I started my ride from Tokyo, the plan was to go to Nagasaki. After that, I will get back. Finally, I have reached Nagasaki. The plan is to visit the Atomic Bomb Peace Memorial in Nagasaki. After that, I will leave. I will spend the night in the city from where I had made my initial plan to enter Japan. That is Fukuoka. Let’s see where to go from Fukuoka. I am planning a few things. Let’s keep it a surprise. I had come to a beautiful park here. It is Saturday morning. Families are here. They are enjoying. It is a peaceful city according to my initial feelings. It’s not a big city. That’s why you will not see the hustle and bustle of a big city. Along with the locals, there is a lot of tourism here. Of course, the main reason is to visit the Atomic Bomb Peace Memorial. Let’s leave from here. I am planning to visit the city and reach the Atomic Bomb Peace Memorial. This is Nagasaki. You will notice that it is a very spacious city. It starts from the back and you can see people’s houses till the mountain tops. The valleys are also crowded with people. This is the port here. Let me tell you about the population of Nagasaki. In 2024, 3,91,000 people lived here. In 2022, 4,10,000 people lived here. In those two years, the population of Nagasaki has decreased by 20,000 people. This is happening in Japan because the population of Japan is decreasing with the passage of time. I have reached the museum. You can see that the entrance is very unconventional. They have mentioned the time difference of every 5 years. This is the circular entrance of the museum. This is the entrance of the museum. They have written that you can take photos but do not use flash. Let me give you a walk around tour. I have got a ticket for 200 Yen. You will see a sign at the entrance. Nagasaki must be the last place exposed to an atomic bomb. It is written in multiple languages. There is a ball clock which was found 800 meters away from the place where the bomb was dropped. They donated it to the museum. This is how the city looked before the Nagasaki atomic bomb. This is the satellite image of Nagasaki. It was taken on 7th August 1945 before the bomb was dropped. You can see the actual footage which was recorded from the plane from which the atomic bomb was dropped. You can see a mushroom-like thick cloud moving towards the sky. There are shockwaves on the ground. This is the actual footage. Let’s go ahead and see what else is there. This museum provides information not only related to the atomic bomb but the incidents that happened before and after, in detail. It was very informative. I always try on emphasizing the history wherever I go. In 1930s Japan wished to possess the sources of South East Asian and Pacific countries. That’s why Japan conquered Manchuria in North East China in 1931. Later, invaded China in 1937. The South East Asian regions were controlled by USA, UK and Netherlands and the resources too were controlled by them. Japan used to import 80% of the oil form USA. So US decided to freeze all the assets of Japan and stop the supply of oil. So Japan decided to either call back its troops from these countries or fight against US. So Japan decided to fight against US. That’s why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941. US fleets and army used to be there on Pacific islands. So Japan wanted to weaken these fleets. So that all the control of these islands comes to Japan. In 1943, UK and US decided to build a nuclear bomb. Which will be dropped on Japan. So in 1944, a successful experiment of nuclear bomb was done. Finally, three cities were chosen. Hiroshima, Kokura and Nagasaki. Bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on 6th August. And on August 9th, at 11:02 am, on Nagasaki. Initially, it was decided to drop the bomb on Kokura, Fukuoka. But it was hidden in the clouds. There was no visibility. So the plane came here. This area was also hidden in the clouds. So it was decided to go back to Guam an island. Which is the closest control of US Pacific Ocean. So the area was cleared for a while. And at the same time, the bomb was dropped here. The material in the bomb was Plutonium. And it was said that the place where the bomb was dropped. The temperature here was 3000 to 4000 degree Celsius. And if you go 1 km away from here, it was 1600 degrees. And if you go 1.5 km away, it was 600 degrees. Instantly, around 40,000 to 75,000 people died. And up to 80,000 people died later due to radiation and other diseases. And within a few seconds, the bomb dropped. The temperature had risen so much. There is a video in the museum. You can see how the clouds are going to the sky like mushrooms. And you can see the shock wave on the ground. There is a monument here. It is written in Japanese. But I doubt that the names of all the victims have been written here. So that they can be remembered. There is a statue here. There is a mother with her child. And you can see the children praying here. And this is the statue here. It was made in 1955. If you look at the right hand, it is pointing to the sky. It is pointing to the nuclear threat. The left hand is pointing to the ground. It is always expressing the desire for peace. The eyes of the statue are closed. It is praying for the victims. If you look at the posture, it seems like it can stand up at any time. The muscular physique shows power and resilience. And it gives a message that for peace, you need strength and determination. Every year, the world leaders and the relatives of the victims gather here. The rest of the people gather here on August 9th. For the anniversary of this monument. Princess Astrid of Belgium has placed flowers here. I have been here for two and a half hours. The children are continuously being told the history. So that the mistakes of the past will never happen again. That’s why the message was written in the museum. The world should learn from Nagasaki. And should always talk about peace. So that no other city or country has to suffer like the people here. Because at that time, it was the first atomic bomb in the world. After that, so much has developed. God forbid, if there is an atomic attack anywhere in the world. I don’t think we can even imagine the effects. I hope there will always be peace in the world. I will try to take you to Hiroshima in the next few days. I will show you some areas there too. Because the atomic blast in Hiroshima was of Uranium. And here it was of Plutonium. Let’s leave now. It’s drizzling. Let’s see what we have to do next.

I truly salute your hard work, dedication, and your passion to keep progressing. It really shows in your videos. You always bring something new, and I really appreciate the effort you put into understanding the history and culture, and explaining it in such a clear and thoughtful way.

There are very few YouTubers who do this without adding unnecessary drama, and that makes your content stand out even more.

InshaAllah, I hope you continue to grow and reach many more subscribers. I live in the UK but I follow your vlog regularly — keep up the excellent work!

  5. Chinese traffic navigation system seems to be more advanced than the Japanese ones, as we can see on mobil screen about the next red / green signal by which speed manageable to be avoided. 😊

  7. He didnt tell you that Nagasaki was a Christian city and that the museum showed Christain Chruch in it.. no wonder his vlogs are islam centric..
