It’s Tomakomai West Port Ferry Terminal. This is MOL Sunflower’s counter. It’s bound for Oarai, Ibaraki/ Tokyo Here is Taiheiyo Ferry’s check-in counter. It’s closed now. The ferries are operated between Tomakomai and Nagoya via Sendai. It’s a 40-hour voyage. Can you survive on board for that long time? Let’s check out the route. I gotta apply for the temporary disembarkation. This ferry calls at Sendai. Passengers to Nagoya can temporarily disembark at Sendai Port. It’s only 3 hour’s stop, but you can enjoy Sendai. This is the application form. English is available. Fill it out and apply at the counter. Got the temporary disembarkation permit. There are several interesting spots around the port.
