the reason why you should visit kalava this summer kalava is a beautiful Resort town just an hour by BL train from Tokyo with an average annual temperature of 8.6 de about 8° cooler than Tokyo it’s a popular place to escape the summer heat we enjoyed two-day trip visiting Lake shiozawa Charming art museums and rose gardens and had delicious food using local ingredients Kisa has many wonderful restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy great food in the buildings that blend beautifully with nature we stayed the upscale Hotel Indigo for my mom’s birthday but there are other various accommodations available even though it rain I enjoy exploring iconic architecture like the stone church and the Tranquil s Shrine and simply chilling to the background music of the rain check out the description for more information of Kisa

There are reasons why you should visit Karuizawa!

1. Cooler than main cities (It’s located in the place approx.1,000 meters (3,281 feet) above sea level, surrounded by mountains)
2. About 1hr away from TOKYO by Bullet Train. (1h 12m by ‘ASAMA’, costs 6,020 yen/one way)
3. The townscape of Karuizawa is beautiful!! (Mainly features green and brown tones, due the landscape ordinances.
　
【Please be aware about…】
1.Karuizawa is a popular destination in the Summer, I strongly recommend avoiding busy timing (Weekend, national holiday)

2.It’s a resort rather than ‘touristy’ place, so there aren’t many ‘exciting touristy spots’.It’s more about leisurely enjoying its natural atmosphere while visiting several scenic spots.

3.Recommended way of transportation is ‘Cycling’, or mixture of Bus/train/taxi/walk
