This photo represents my life today. I captioned it “from the hood to paradise.”My family came to this country during the Vietnam war as refugees. With them being immigrants growing up in East Oakland didn’t make things any better. But from a visual perspective, growing up watching my grand parents work their tails off has been one of my biggest inspirations. So if you’re reading this, here’s my first tip. Work hard, harder than you’ve ever worked if you want to see any changes to your life. You determine your fate, not others. The question is, are you going to take action, today?
