Longfu Temple is the venue for temple fairs and markets with a long history. We heard that two markets were being held here, so we went to see them, namely the “Yunnan Returns to Myself” Yunnan Dali Life Festival and the Cangyuan Art Market. By the way, we went to a nearby wet market with a wide variety of goods, and there is also a cultural and creative industry park.

Longfu Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty. A fire in the late Qing Dynasty burned down half of the building, and the rest collapsed in the aftermath of the 1976 Tangshan earthquake. Now only the extremely exquisite caisson is left, installed in the China Ancient Architecture Museum, and we can see a very high degree of restoration of the replica in a pastry shop in Longfu Temple.
