다카마쓰 5회차 만에 첫 나오시마 [다카마쓰 4-2 봄] 세토우치 예술제 (트리엔날레) 🇯🇵
The day I go to Naoshima. I’ll have a bowl of udon! I originally planned to go to Bakaichidai, but I got there later than I thought. I’m going to eat the mentaiko butter udon at Sakaeda Udon in the arcade . Credit card payment is not accepted! I added 3 pieces of fried food, so the total came to 1,020 yen. This udon is delicious! Be sure to add pepper powder and soy sauce! I bought a ticket at No. 2 for the Naoshima ferry to Shodoshima and boarded. There were so many people waiting in line for the Naoshima ferry! And if you buy a round-trip ticket, you get a 30 yen discount. Today with Totoro! If I had been a little late, I almost missed the boat? Finally boarded. Takamatsu Port ↔ Naoshima (Miyanoura Port) It takes 1 hour. For now, I’ve arrived! I can see the red pumpkin in the distance, but I’ll pass! I’ll also pass on the bicycle rental! Should I go to the red pumpkin? It ’s cute in person. I’ll take a quick spin around and look around! If I got off late, I’d be buried in the crowd. The port next to the red pumpkin. Pavilion. I heard that the lights come on at night. It’s a shame because it’s foggy? It’s a bit cold at the beach. I should wear the raincoat I bought for emergencies. For now, since the village bus is crowded , I’ll tour this town first, and then take the bus to the art museum I made a reservation for. Most of the art museums can be visited with the art festival pass, but famous art museums require separate payment and reservations. So I made reservations for Chichu Art Museum and Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery . This alone costs an additional 40,000 won… Let’s go see them! There are three bicycle rental shops, but there are a lot of people waiting. Some people have reservations, and some don’t. So I’m going to walk around. And I don’t have the energy to ride a bike anymore… (Ogi, Megijima) I had a hard time walking around yesterday… I only went to the crowded places near the port, and there are no people where I want to go. I’ll start by exploring the outskirts! (Residents’ living area) A coastline with fishing boats. It should be around here (Google Maps…) (I see something!) Is it the artist’s house? ‘NAOSHIMA’ made of buoy frogs and wood Is this a gallery? (You can go in) Can I just go in? Angel frogs ㅋㅋㅋ It looks like they carved each buoy individually. Photographing OK! The workshop! (Frog gentleman) Profile of the buoy frog artist. He’s a young artist. I wanted to see a frog eating udon, but it seems he’s not there anymore. Drunk frogs😆 (Excuse me) Backyard? The artist’s small garden. It seems like there’s no more path? The ideas are really diverse. On the way to Miyanoura Gallery 6. It’s close to the frog workshop. It’s a 5-minute walk. But is this the right path? It doesn’t seem like there’s a path? It feels like it’s too uphill! I have to go to the next alley… That’s how I got there, but it’s closed. Opening hours (13:00-17:00) I had a cup of coffee at a cafe on the way to the bathhouse. I’m a familiar frog now. There were a lot of frogs all over the neighborhood. I guess everyone ordered frogs from the artist. The coffee tastes good, but the quantity is small. You can also buy goods. Mikazuki store. Another store across the street. There are a lot of frogs here too. They look cuter the more I look😆 Is this a restaurant? It seems to be a restaurant and cafe. Since the art gallery that I mentioned earlier also opens at 1pm, it would be good to come to this area to eat and then explore in the afternoon. Right next to the cafe! I Love You Bathhouse is actually open, so those who pay to bathe can do so. The building design is really hip. This bathhouse also opens at 1pm! If you want to do something in this area, come at lunchtime. [There is a place to wait for the bathhouse in front of the door] The building feels like an old building. Back to the port. There are only 4 bathrooms in the boarding waiting room . It’s very quiet now. There’s no one in front of the pumpkin either. Let’s go take a selfie in this situation! I took a quick photo 5 minutes before getting on the bus. But it was even foggier. The special art festival bus costs 300 yen. Tsutsuji stop. I plan to go to Sugimoto Gallery, which is a 7-minute walk from here. There is a bicycle parking lot here. You have to look at the map carefully… On the way in the opposite direction of Sugimoto Gallery. Yellow pumpkin! There seem to be people getting off the bus now. I’ll go see all the art galleries (actually, I don’t have time) (but in the end, I didn’t have time to see the yellow pumpkin.) These are all the pictures I took when I was closest. The road to the gallery was pretty, but I didn’t have time to see it. I enjoyed the gallery (video X, pictures O) Hiroshi Sugimoto’s black and white photo gallery. I barely managed to reserve an empty seat. Maybe that’s why. They provide tea and snack set coupons in the lounge. Included in the reserved ticket. They also give you one delicious matcha or hojicha confectionery! The gallery bathroom is inside, so only those who have reserved the gallery can use it. A transparent acrylic work in front of the lounge. That seems to be the most popular. When you come out of the gallery, a beach like this continues. Go up and go to Benesse? (I don’t know where to go) Since everyone is going up, I think I should go too (give up on the yellow pumpkin) . There’s also a work of art on the open ground. A work of art swaying in the wind . There’s also an art gallery below here, but I’ll pass. Shortcut to the Benesse Museum. Oval? is only for those who have reserved accommodations… Benesse House Museum is possible with the art festival pass. Here, you can take both photos and videos as long as you don’t use the flash. This is also Ando’s architecture. The spiral staircase is cool, like the Akita Prefectural Museum of Art. Something sparkles. Media art? What is it ? What is it? It looks like it just turned on! I took pictures from then until all the lights came on. My hand was covering it… Oh? It looks like it’ll all turn on soon. I like the colors. (I checked the time and it all turned on after waiting for 5 minutes.) This is a piece of art that wraps trash that washes up on the shore in leather. This is how it can be art. A painting that I like because it’s cute. Is it an oil painting? I heard that they showcased many new works for this art festival. A cute stone sofa… Sunbathing here? At this time, I couldn’t just lie down on the stone and look at the sky. I asked a Benesse employee where to catch the shuttle. He told me to catch it at the place where there are two mirrors. There are a few more stops in between the bus stop . If you catch the free shuttle bus, it will drop you off here, but this is the ticket booth. If you make a reservation and have a QR code, you can go straight to the front of the exhibition hall. Before you go, take a look around here first! Jichu outdoor garden. It’s right in front. It’s pretty because it’s nicely gardened. There’s even a small pond. We took our time looking around and it took 5 minutes to get to the museum. The pink tree is amazing. Is this blue nemophila? Photography is prohibited after the museum goods store. It was a very cloudy day. This is the last video. You can take pictures without the staff at the Jichu Art Museum cafe. I was so hungry that I ordered a sandwich. I spent almost 2,000 yen… I wonder what it would be like if the weather was nice. The sandwich was delicious. The cat at the Chichu ticket booth. The first cat in Naoshima. As expected, he loves butt-banging. This is Underworld’s butt show? Why did he go so far to lie down? 😂 The long line for the last ferry at 5 o’clock. GOOD👍 Crazy… The ship that just arrived is the last ferry. There are 6 people in front of me… The line was cut in front of those 6 people. They said they couldn’t all get on the boat. They said they couldn’t go even if they stood… It’s the last train, so there are a lot of people left … The employee who cut the line said … The employee who cut the line said… I recommend Naoshima→Okayama→JR train to Takamatsu. (What the hell is that!!) (Fortunately) The ferry schedule was decided to be increased before the last ferry left . So I’ll take that ferry and arrive in Takamatsu a little late. I can’t take this Asahi ferry… Does this ferry go and come back? I could take a different ferry. But I’m glad they increased the schedule early. They check the number of passengers in advance. They checked the number of people in line twice. I almost got punished for ten years. They decided to increase the number of trains really quickly. There were too many people who couldn’t get on. Hundreds of people almost got on the train from Okayama to Takamatsu… The ship I was going to get on left . It left me behind. Even in front of me, a few people got on but got cut off. Even if I counted how many people were there… It seems like people who got stuck in the middle or saved seats got in … So it seems like the people who got stuck couldn’t get on. The additional ship is coming! It ‘s already moved to a different boarding platform. It arrived almost 10 minutes later. The ship went to the wrong boarding platform… So we moved the line again. Now the ship moved again according to the line… But we boarded the ship safely! It left without getting on a few people. It seems like four people didn’t get on. Wow… There were really a lot of tourists. I would’ve gotten on that ship if I hadn’t bought ice cream. It got cut off right in front of me lol . Finally, Takamatsu is in sight!! I got off safely. It was really spectacular. I almost went to Okayama (it was so scary) . I think I should’ve gotten on the train by now. There were so many people… Impressions of Naoshima. My first visit to Naoshima. It’s hard to film art museums… and in fact, reservations are annoying. I never go to restaurants that require reservations. But I managed to get a cancellation ticket for the museums and made reservations for the Chichu Art Museum and Sugimoto Gallery two weeks ago. The additional admission fee is 40,000 won… Since you can’t go to those two places with the Art Festival Pass , if you want to use the Setouchi Art Festival Pass and come to Naoshima again, I recommend visiting the museums that the pass allows. There aren’t many museums. I only went to two areas. The Ie Project seemed like a good place to use the pass. In the end, I only used the pass at one place in Naoshima, the Benesse House Museum. I guess I didn’t get my money’s worth from the pass . I should have seen all of the Ie Project… Did I see a lot of them on Megijima? It must have been cheaper there… The pass app has this. There are so many places left to see. I think I’ll have to set aside a week to see half of them. They say you have to manually recognize the free works by tracking their location. I didn’t know… I have to come back in the fall. Let’s come when the weather is nice next time! And I don’t want to take the last ferry, but the time is ambiguous. The 2 o’clock ferry and the next one is at 5 o’clock… (I have to stay in Naoshima next time.) My first time in Naoshima was a bit disappointing, but it was fun. I have a season ticket, so I can go to spring, summer, and fall! This time, I stayed at the same guesthouse I always go to. There was an izakaya called ‘KAI’ across the street. No matter how tired I am, I have to go eat. Kushikatsu! Omakase Kushiage (1,200 yen) This restaurant is delicious! They also grab dolls ! I’m on my 300 yen challenge (3rd time) If I do well, I might get two? 100 yen more! Look at the front! Look at the side! PUSH! Zinga Zinga Zinga~♪ Let’s go! Let’s go! !!! This restaurant is great! (I got one before) I got two for 400 yen! Avocado and wombat. Awesome! Air Seoul = I’m going to eat udon at Bakaichidai on the morning flight! 07:30 Closed… No waiting! Just sprinkle a little soy sauce on Kamatama Udon ! You have to mix it quickly before the noodles get soggy. It seems that the noodles become chewier when exposed to the cold air! It tastes even better when I eat it after a long time! I added 2 pieces of fried food, so the total came to 820 yen. This concludes my Takamatsu itinerary! Let’s go to the airport! I came to Korea and finished it off with budaejjigae! See you next time for another video!
