Its not easy to find vegetarian food, if you are vegetarian keep it in mind as you will have to struggle to get veg food at restaurants. Japanese people hardly eat veg. I was lucky to get a Margherita Pizza in a british pub for which I paid 600 yen.
Food is not expensive here, Metro travel is expensive.
