ブルネイで24時間過ごしました🇧🇳 実際どんな感じ?(フルvlog)

good morning good morning welcome to a new video
my name is Oliver and thank you so much for tuning   in with me today in this video we will rent a
car and drive to Brunei yes that’s right i am   traveling to Brunai for the first time in my life
and I will take you with me we will be visiting   mosques make a boat trip and so many fun things
will happen along the way make sure to like this   video and subscribe to my channel and then I’ll
start with a quick preview of what’s coming up   in this video this is the first time I drive
myself into a new country let’s go down here   i’m not sure if that’s allowed but I walked over
the beach but I only see trash actually my heart   is breaking this is the palace well this is the
first part of the palace cuz we’re searching   for the monkey with the dicknose and there is
literally no one here all right we have arrived at   the second mosque of today and this one is maybe
even more beautiful than the first one [Music] [Music] hello everyone my name is Oliver and in today’s
video we will go to Brunei with a car i am in   my rental car right now and we’re going to drive
up to the border which is around 30 minutes i’m   in Midi right now in Malaysia and from there it
is another 2 hours to the capital of Brunei and   we’re going to stay over there for one night
so just one night only it is 10:00 a.m in the   morning now and tomorrow by noon I’ll drop off
the car and I fly to another place in Borneo but   for now we’re going to go to Brunai and it’s
going to be challenging because this is the   first time I drive on the left side of the road
i never drove on the left side of the road only   on the right side right cuz I’m from Europe so
you know we drive on the right side except the   UK but yeah I never drove a car there so it is
going to be challenging that’s one big challenge   that we have to face today the other challenge is
the border control of Brunei cuz I have filled out   a e traveler form but you need to fill that out 3
days prior to arrival date and I did it yesterday   and I’m going today so fingers crossed they will
let me pass um yeah I have my passport let me see   i have my driving license all right we’re ready
to go honestly I’m nervous but let’s go to Beret [Music] [Music] all right all right very small but it’s
kind of okay they even have a holder for my phone   it’s great oh and it’s an automatic one perfect
perfect perfect perfect okay so this is just 6 km   straight so the first impression of driving in
Malaysia um it’s actually very nice cuz people   here don’t drive so fast they’re actually driving
pretty slow everyone is obeying the speed limit   so it is literally 50 km or 60 km an hour and
everyone is just doing that also right um I had   to get used to the signals because in my car in
Europe it is the opposite so on the left side on   this side I have my signals you know my indicators
right or left and on this side I have like big   light or like um yeah the rain washers how do you
say that like the rain whatever it is um and here   is the opposite so I wanted to turn right and then
I accidentally instead of you know putting on my   indicator oh my god well it is a great day i’m so
happy there is AC and that I have a bit of coffee   still and when once we’re past immigration we’re
going to go to the first hot spot in Brunei and it   is literally just like 20 minutes from the border
into Brun it’s a special statue so we’re going to   check that out and then we continue our journey
to the center the capital of Brunei so far so good   i’m feeling okay i’m not stressed anymore i’m a
bit nervous still but yeah it’ll be fine okay I’m   going okay this is challenging i’m going here to
the left the roads are very good the conditions of   the road are perfect honestly there are no holes
or bumps or whatever it is actually very nice to   drive here so what we’re going to do I’m going to
take you to the mosque in Brunei i’m going to take   you to a famous bridge in Brunei i’m going to take
you to a statue in Brunei and of course the little   island in Brunei that is built on water something
like that i’ve heard I’m not an expert in Brun yet   so we’re going to discover it together honestly
first time in this country and I’m driving into   this country actually I think this is the first
time I drive myself into a new country yeah i   mean I mean you know when you go with the bus
it’s more relaxing right cuz they just pick you   up drop you off you pay them some and that’s
it right all all settled all done and now so   many things can happen so I’m a bit nervous all
right guys first checkpoint well checkpoint they   check the license plates over the bridge and now
we are heading to the immigration of Brunei I’m   nervous but I don’t think I can record cuz I need
my phone for the travel e form that I filled out   a little bit too late but I did fill it out uh so
let’s keep driving and yeah see how it’s going to go all right I’m in line for passport control
there just three cars in front of me so it’s   very quiet here there’s no one here that’s
good i don’t think anyone takes the car to   Bri i’m the only partner well let’s see there no
there were no buses at all i looked for buses the   Hoy and I even went to the bus station to
go ask if there was a bus going from Midi   to Brun there was not any bus available none of
the days so I had to rent a car and I just rent   this car for €30 more or less €39 actually with
insurance that’s for one day so tomorrow I will   be going back to Miri but it’s just a 2 and 1/2
hour drive from Miri Malaysia so it’s very close   right and if the cues are so short here at the
border it’s perfect honestly so let’s see what   they’re going to say to me i’m a bit nervous
cuz it’s a very strict country you know all   right guys we made it oh my god it was terrible
i was pulled aside i had to uh literally like   fill another form apparently there are two forms
one an e form you know as a person and one for   a car registration so and I had to pay $6 Brunei
dollars to well to get the QR code and enter the   country so that took me another 15 minutes but
they were very friendly very helpful so I’m good   to go now i’m done i passed immigration i got
the stamp we are officially in Brun oh my god   I’m so happy well let’s continue the journey
and discover this beautiful country [Music] all right good we passed through immigration great
there’s a traffic light where are my sunglasses   so perfect it’s It’s a great day to be alive I
would say i would say the road here is worse than   in Malaysia but I could be wrong oh there’s a gas
station here let’s see how much it is i have half   a tank left oh I don’t see the prices oh shell
right there anyways there are if you come by   car into this country you need to pay $6 and fill
out another form with a QR code cuz you don’t want   to hold up the queue behind you right as I did so
yeah I’ll put the link to the two websites in the   description also for you to click and fill out the
forms if you need it cuz I’ve been looking on the   internet for so much information about Brun but I
couldn’t find anything other than just two blogs   of people that have traveled to Brun but they flew
in you know mostly so and that’s not what I was   going to do so I I hope that I can help a lot of
people with this video you know telling you that   it’s possible to go back hard that it could be
cheap that they’re very friendly at the border but   I can only tell you be prepared right be prepared
fill out the two forms and then everything will   be fine you know they’re not searching your car or
anything uh it’s it’s pretty easy to pass through   the border actually we have to drive for 20 more
minutes something like that and then we arrive at   the statue the famous statue of Bernet the first
sightseeing thing in this country i’m very excited   i don’t see anything other than trees now and
one gas station yeah and the roads are not so   Gosh I need to have both hands on the steering
wheel honestly both hands on the wheel because   it’s dangerous to drive and I think you know
crocodiles can cross the road at any time or   monkeys you know big monkeys we’re passing some
houses and buildings it’s more civilized here a   little bit further away from the border and
something I see is that all the houses here   have the Brun flag their national flag hanging
outside they all have it i think I don’t know   if it’s a it’s a law maybe it’s mandatory to have
the flag hanging there outside but I’m not sure   maybe we have arrived first stop guys
let’s see the sea of Brun and whatever   else is there it is so quiet there is no one
here let’s see this is like attention this is   like a message like we are not responsible if
anything happens to you here in the monument   i think I have to watch out for I don’t know
crocodiles or something i really think I should   watch out for crocodiles oh guys I also have to go
to the toilet but I don’t see any public toilets   here i don’t think they have it i already hear
the sea it’s good to be in a new country a country   I’ve never been before that’s always very nice
right to arrive into a country you’ve never been   before that is just interesting just exciting
whatever even though it’s just one [Music] [Music] day let’s go down here i’m not sure
if that’s allowed but I’m the only one here   i’m the only tourist i don’t see anyone this
is the beach it’s not really a beautiful beach   i mean the water is brown but uh yeah it is very
unwrapped nature you know well guys let’s go to   the beach and check it out ah the nice wind
amazing but it blowing my hair i just washed   my hair so it looks terrible anyways let’s
go down all right guys we’re on the beach   in Brun who ever thought that that’s crazy
look at this i’m the only one here wow oh   what is this look all the balls but it stops
there you see oh all the craps everywhere   it’s all Oh all a baby crab oh but why is this
so many so many balls that’s weird oh this is   kind of cool but do you see all the plastic over
there all the plastic uh well what is it water   bottles there all the water bottles yeah that’s
kind of sad but well I see a very big shell there it’s beautiful it’s perfect it’s still attached oh [ __ ] sorry well giving it back
to nature there’s so much trash on this beach   look there’s even a BMW here a BMW oh my goodness
that is crazy i think they don’t clean the beach   you know so many water bottles that’s insane i’m
actually surprised by that so many water bottles   well there’s nothing here honestly i walked
over the beach but I only see trash actually   my heart is breaking that’s the only thing
maybe I should go back to the car and just   drive to the city center it’s two more hours guys
but what is this can one of you tell me what this is what is this it looks very weird i don’t want
to touch it i’m not going to touch it   but you know what’s nice i have internet here
4G in Brunei and everywhere in Southeast Asia   because I have an e SIM card right and I can
use my data in all countries in Southeast Asia   so that’s really nice cuz I have an iPhone
so I don’t have space for two SIM cards in   my phone so that’s why an eSIM card is the
perfect option i have a discount code for you   if you want some free money if you use my link
to purchase your first e SIM card you get some   free money to spend on your first ESIM card so
it will be cheaper right and I also get a little   bit so that’s the benefit you know if you use my
link then you get something and I get something   so click the link in my bio to download the
app and claim your free money right anyways   I’m walking back to the car as you can see and
we’re driving further up to the capital city   and I think we have to pay toll and I don’t like
that because I don’t have their local currency i   only have Malaysian ringit let’s hop in the car
it is so hot i need some water it’s very hot so   let’s get back into the car into the AC this was
a great first stop honestly it is so green guys   there’s so much forest brunai is only existing
of one river and rainforest so it makes sense but   uh yeah no we’re driving we have 45 minutes
to go to arrive to the hostel that I’m staying   63 more kilometers to Bandar City Beawan
the capital of Brunei oh I’m excited [Music]   all right guys as you know we have arrived
i walked to my hostel dropped my stuff and   now I’m walking to the mall because I have
to exchange money because I have to pay in   their local currency to uh the hostel so I
only have Malaysian ringit that’s a problem   so I’m walking now to the mall to exchange cash
and then I’ll probably go back to the car and head   to the mosque that’s what I’m going to do you know
I think that’s the planning cuz I only have one   day so it’s not too much time oh gosh I already
see the McDonald’s too you know I love to go to   the McDonald’s in every country because in each
country in the world they have different things   and I like to try the local dishes well the local
burgers they have right crossing the street here   going to the mall exchange money go back to
the car and then we’ll explore this [Music] city all right I sat down here i just ordered
myself a burger bun cuz I’m so hungry i don’t know   where else to get some food so just a quick bun
here and then we’re heading to the mosque right i   changed my money so that’s good perfect so hot my
god I’m already looking forward to the AC in the car wow that looks amazing [Music] [Music]   all right oh [ __ ] i always forget that okay
let’s go out look at this oh [ __ ] all right   perfect wow guys this mosque is amazing look
at it i’m the only one here again i think I’m   the only tourist in this country at this point
wow can’t believe it it’s beautiful let’s see   if we can go in oh my god it’s so hot i see some
Indian guys here not sure if they’re tourists but   yeah probably it’s amazing oh this is the front
oh maybe I should go to the gate there i parked   my car just there i don’t even know if I have to
pay for the parking or anything oh it’s so hot   oh god wow this is crazy look how beautiful look
at that wow met a nice guy he told me I had to   go to the water village so probably I’m going
to check that out as well i don’t have so much   cash on me so that’s a problem i should have
changed more cash cuz it’s probably like 35   um well Brunei money but the mosque is mosque is
closed for now i don’t know if it’s legit but I   feel like I have to do something today right i
have to do something today in Brunai so this guy   offered me an hour tour with other travelers on
a boat for 20 Brunai money so that’s like €18 i   mean like okay let’s just do it cuz I’m here just
one night right so we’re going to see the monkeys   he said it’s a tour yeah with other travelers
so could be nice right unfortunately the mosque   was closed the guy said so I couldn’t go in
but from the outside it was already beautiful   so second thing done in Bernay now we’re going to
go to the palace so that’s going to be beautiful   I’m sure awesome there’s my little car oh
my god air conditioning yes domino down down [Music] all right guys this is the palace well
this is the first part of the palace   and we cannot really go through these gates
unfortunately it’s not open for visitors but   uh we saw them opening the gates and cars went
in and out but it’s very wellmaintained i see a   lot of gardeners also making it beautiful keeping
it beautiful right but it looks more like a party   tent actually it doesn’t really look like a palace
it’s more like a party tent but maybe that’s just   the first part and the palace is actually after
it like on the back in the back right yeah kind of [Music] cool i am walking here at the
bridge and there is literally no one here   there’s no one here i don’t see any
tourists there’s only one guy fishing   here there’s no one it’s all clean and
empty well-maintained but there’s no one   enjoying it you know oh it’s 3:00 so maybe
it’s too hot i don’t know but let’s see if   we can go up and then see the views over the
capital city that would be awesome let’s see oh it’s very nice to walk here in the shade near
the water with so much wind and you don’t feel   the heat so much it is 33° i’m sweating it’s
nice that I have a car and I can just hop in   the car blast AC against my face and then go
to the next place right let’s see if I can go   up here could be nice okay here it seems
that there are stairs let’s see let’s see   where we’re going to end up maybe I’m walking
all these stairs up now for nothing i have to   go all the way back yes look it’s locked
i don’t think you can go up this bridge   oh too bad never mind let’s go down i’m
going to drive over the bridge so and I’m   going to drive very slow and so we can look at
everything good all right let’s do that [Music] all right we have arrived at the second
mosque of today and this one is maybe   even more beautiful than the first one
i’m not sure but maybe it’s because   of the light maybe it’s because of the
blue color i don’t know but it is just   beautiful and I’m again the only one here
it’s so funny wow this is so pretty look i’m sitting here a little bit in the shade i’m
tired but also I need water and I thought oh I’ll   buy a water at 7-Eleven on the way I leave my big
bottle with water in my hostel that was a mistake   cuz I haven’t seen a single 7-Eleven i haven’t
seen a single shop where I can buy something oh   it’s only clothing or buildings office buildings
so I don’t know where I can get some water oh my   goodness and my tank uh my car tank is almost
empty so I have to also refill get some gas it   is Yeah 1537 i think I’m going to go find My gosh
I’m very lightheaded i need some water seriously   uh I think I’m going to find a shell to get gas
then head back to the hostel pay the hostel and   then go back to the mosque because then it’s
5:00 p.m i’m going to do the tour perfect guys   it’s going to get a challenge to get gas cuz
apparently all the gas stations are refusing   car payments so you have to pay in cash and
I don’t have cash anymore so um yeah that’s   going to be a problem there are only three gas
stations in the whole country that accept card   payments so I have to be careful with my gas you
know and um well I have to eventually go to one   of those three cuz I don’t have cash anymore you
know yeah well well let’s go to the nearest shell   and we’re just going to ask and then if not then
we drive to the river cruise that we have with   the guy from the mosque and then we’re just going
to do the the cruise and then tomorrow I’ll drive   to a shell where you can pay with card no it’s so
stupid i don’t understand today I am flogging my   way through Brunei we have a river cruise that a
random guy at the mosque sold me i’m going to show   you the real Brunei so thank you for watching
please hit the like button and subscribe to my   channel as well and then we start the vlog let’s
go right good we’re back at the mosque because   we are going to meet our friend now that we just
made and we’re going to do the tour the boat tour   through this village floating village something
like that for 20 brunai money and that would   literally be all my money oh wait [ __ ] it’s in
the my car i left the coins in my car all right   got it let’s see where he is i think he’s
still sitting there on his chair where is   he where is he oh maybe he’s there yeah
I think he’s there hello hello hi hi guys   hello my guy how are you uh this one is want
to join from Russia from No Holland holland   yeah from the Netherlands netherland yes good
yes I’m in time that’s good all right [Music] searching the the the monkey take 1 hour
30 minutes and then he said the my my my   my driver said he saw three crocodiles the
big one and then the monkey and after that he   uh crossed the houses there yeah they
say don’t touch the water because of the   crocodiles is that true for here is okay but
don’t uh try to put your head yeah yeah yeah don’t touch the water because
that’s the water is salty you know   yes oh yeah sure salty water uh sea water
crocodiles uh yeah crocodile interesting you join us yeah I joined good good good holland
Manda Belgium Indonesia yeah [Music] so we   are going with a family and us still Anna
from Belgium belgium Holland and Indonesia all right we’re in balance okay now we’re in balance i’m
just 60 kilos but makes a difference small one   okay okay join now our boat tour takes uh 1 hour
uh I’m shy okay before this area build is called   echop park approximately 20,000 people woo and
one water village yeah salt the village so this   water is salty now I’m not confident confident
can see the crocodile because the water is   uh high yeah it’s moving a lot also yeah
houses here oh my god I’m getting wet okay   we’re speeding up the boat so apparently this
is the biggest water village in the world 20,000   people and the government is supporting the
water village because they all all the houses   have floating water and air conditioning
so that’s really good this is nice [Music] [Music] uh this one uh what do you call
it the palace sorry palace this is the old okay we’re slowing down a little bit because
we’re searching for the monkey with the dick   nose i keep forgetting the name what is the name
probuscus probuscus yeah that’s it i haven’t seen   any of those yet and I’m already a week in Borneo
so I hope we’re lucky today we’re going to see it   everyone is looking at the side i don’t see
it all right so there are a couple boats so I   hope we’re lucky i give you extra no worries
i hope we’re lucky because all the boats are   are there waiting looking at something so it’s
probably the monkeys oh my god let’s see where   is the crocodile could also be called the um
Okay for your information if this monkey here   the other one he will be fight you know the
the the the produc monkey uh run away well   apparently these monkeys are very aggressive
and they fight with the prop prop uh the dick   monkeys yeah monkeys so the frokies monkeys they
rot away for these monkeys and they mainly eat   bananas monkey the gray one but yeah now we see
them so the pros monkeys are not here [Music]   sit down there are you going to have yellow
yellow water yeah oh that one very close [Music]   this is insane i’m getting wet cuz we’re now
in a floating village and we saw some houses   that actually fell in the water and there’s
still people living here 1980 or something   he said 19 something it’s built and it’s all
on wood you know so once there was a big fire   and a lot of houses sunk so it’s very special to
see and actually people are not scared to live   here you know in Holland or Spain or in Europe
it would say this is two day just to live you   know but it’s still people’s homes you know
it’s beautiful the sunset is amazing and we   saw the monkeys we saw the monkeys it’s so heavy
i saw the dick on their nose insane incredible i didn’t expect to be doing this today honestly
but here we are oh wow look the sunset [Music]   yeah wow is this a school no this is house
oh see the the the concrete almost falling   down oh it’s very old yeah very old look at
the house collapsed collapsed what oh yeah   it collapsed collapsed what yeah of course
people are still What is this school what   is this school this is called Oh it’s another
village wow people live there malaya that you   don’t see any people outside actually everything
is closed you see clothing hanging there you know   outside to dry but I don’t really see people
walking or children playing or something but   I think it’s also dangerous cuz if they fall in
the water there could be crocodiles fireman but   no trucks but boats that’s funny is it true
the king gives money to people on the street   uh yeah during the uh our haraya you know like
Christmas Chinese New Year yeah he gives money   on people that come to see him yeah yeah
for just someone who like a poor man like   uh don’t have like homeless yeah homeless
right okay they get money through them yeah don’t do that [Music] it’s already dark ali dropped us off such a great   guy and a great guide also
no no that’s good we seen him see you i’ll put his phone number in the
description so you can send him a WhatsApp   message and then uh join his tour it’s just an
hour through the Mongro you see the monkeys no   we just finished tour yeah we just finished it
sunset with the palace oh you’ve seen it all all   right okay thank you have a good night awesome
oh my water bottle [ __ ] okay let’s find some   food okay we have to wait a little bit longer and
then we can see the mosque in covered in lights [Music] [Music] [Music] all right I’m walking back to my car now it has
been very nice the girl Anna from Belgium so we   could talk in Dutch we have been talking for I
think an hour or something and just talking about   the differences of our countries and stuff so well
I run out of money i don’t have any cash anymore   on me so I think it is going to be McDonald’s
tonight cuz I hope fingers crossed that there   I can pay with card i’ll show you guys what they
have here in this uh country at McDonald’s and   then we’re going to sleep cuz tomorrow we head
back to Midi yeah all right here’s my car ooh   it’s cold still nice i’m sorry guys no special
things at McDonald’s here unfortunately same as   in Malaysia so just ordered myself a Big Mac and
I could pay with card so that’s perfect all right   I’m going to have dinner and then tomorrow we’re
going to drive back to Malaysia so here we go good   morning good morning from Brun we are heading
back to Miri to Malaysia and I’m here at the   gas station oh thank you and I paid with card yes
all right i’m making a stop here at McDonald’s to   get a coffee and then we’re driving back two and
a half hours to Malaysia hopefully we’re going to   see some nice things i see some dark clouds though
so maybe it’s going to rain very heavily this by   the way is the gas station where you can pay with
card there are only four gas stations in the whole   country that accept cards i will pinpoint them all
here down in the description for you to remember   when you are here with a car cuz it’s really
annoying if you have to pay cash everywhere right   well never mind they’re not available
oh this is fun a Mac Fries crosswalk all   right well that was it guys that was my Brunai
adventure for now thanks for watching all the   way to the end and for liking this video oh
and make sure to subscribe to my channel to   stay updated about all my future videos thanks
again and I’ll see you in the next video bye [Music] [Music]
