First Ferry in Japan to Small Villages and Ninja Town 🇯🇵 S8 EP 104 | Pakistan to Japan Motorcycle

I bought the ticket from here. It’s called Isewan Ferry. It’s quite a big boat. Let’s see. First, they have placed a cloth to avoid damage to the seat. They take care of such little things in Japan. Check it out. What a scene in Japan. This is a very traditional Japanese restaurant. The route should be like this. Let’s just pray that there is no problem here. Irfan has come here early in the morning to meet me. Thank you very much, sir. It was nice meeting you. Most welcome. I am also a big fan of yours. Your work is so high standard. I am glad that a Pakistani is making high quality vlogs. Thank you very much, sir. It was my dream to meet you. But you have to promise that you will meet me again. sure When you go to that region, you will be my guest. Sure, thank you very much, sir. Assalamualaikum, everyone. Welcome back to the channel from Shizuoka, Japan. I have been missing the feeling of getting up in the morning, packing my luggage, exploring the Google Maps to see where I am going today, what interesting things I have marked, what kind of videos I’ve made in those areas. That feeling is back. Today, I am traveling from Shizuoka to Osaka. I will tell you where I am going exactly. You are looking at the map of Japan. I am in Shizuoka right now. From here, I will take a ride to the area where I will get a ferry. This area is connected to the Miya province. If I want to go there, I can take this route to Osaka and Kyoto. I thought to go here as it would be an interesting area. I think there are a lot of national parks here. So, it will be more nature-friendly. Today, I will decide where to go after reaching this area. I will look for some interesting routes. I am bypassing Nagoya today. Since I have to return to Tokyo, I will go from Nagoya to Nagano, through the GIFU area. I received a lot of messages from there. I think Nagano has the largest community in Pakistan. I will meet you guys when I will return to Tokyo. So, let’s get going and start the ride. (prayer for journey) May I have a safe and blessed day ahead. I have just pinned the ferry’s starting point. It’s 150 km away. So, it’s about 3.25 according to the navigation. It is without highway. If I had taken the highway, it would have saved almost 20 minutes. So, I decided to go without highway. I hope it will get better once I exit the city. Shizuoka is not a hustle and bustle city. The hustle and bustle of Tokyo, we will only see in Osaka and other big cities. The weather is cloudy in the morning. It is expected to rain by the second half of the day. So, let’s try to enjoy the journey till then. Let’s see how far I can go. Wow! Check this out. I have come along the coastal road. The coast here looks beautiful. There are big beaches. The weather is a bit cold. But it looks like a good area. I have moved away from the main road. I entered a small village for a short break. 7-Eleven is right in front of me. This is my go-to cafe. 7-Eleven or Lawson. I have taken coffee from here along with a tofu bar for some protein. Especially vegetarians love tofu. I have tried it a couple of times. I liked it from 7-Eleven. I paid around $3 for both. I have found out one more thing about convenience stores here. You can get everything you need here. Printing, money transfer, etc. There are ATM machines here. You can also withdraw money. Lawson also has a post box inside. You can send letters from there. If you want to send luggage from one place to another in Japan. You can send it from one convenience store to another. Let’s say you are going to the airport. You have a flight in 2 days. And you don’t want to carry so much luggage. You can deposit it here. You can pick it up from the airport in 2 days. You can pick it up from the convenience store there. Similarly, if you are going on a hike. You don’t have space in your car or if you are going by train. Or if I am riding a motorcycle with a hiking backpack I don’t want to carry it on my motorcycle if I’ve to hike for 2 days I will give it to a convenience store near my house. When I reach there after 2 days. I will pick it up from there and return it to them after hiking. When I come back, I will pick it up from my house. I think it’s amazing. Such opportunity should be everywhere. Anyway, let’s eat Tofu. Look at the farms here and there. They are using technology purposefully. I have seen the same in China and Malaysia as well. There are small areas here. And they are growing so much over there. It’s completely closed. They take care of the light and temperature inside. This is an agricultural area. The farms are built in the middle of the houses. If there is a variation in the scenery 2-3 times a day. It would be amazing. The scenery has totally changed. There is a dense forest. And you can see the sea on this side. I have gone a little high. I am not far from the ferry terminal. Maybe 1.5 km is left. Let’s see if I can find a place inside the next ferry. Here is the ferry terminal. The time is also written here. Is there a person sitting here? It will depart at 3:20 pm. There is no one here. Oh, there he is. There are cars parked here. And here are the motorcycles. Let’s see if there is enough space. Because they allow a limited number of cars and motorcycles. I am not sure whether I can park here or not. Let’s park behind that. Now I have to check where do I have to buy the ticket from. I bought the ticket from here. It’s called Isewan Ferry. It’s a big boat. Let’s see. They have placed a piece of wood at the back. They will tie it from here. Even if they tie, they have put a blanket on top of it. To avoid damage to the seat. They take care of such minute details in Japan. They take care of everything. That’s why even after 3-4 years, if the cars from Japan are imported to Pakistan, they are in very good condition. And look at this room. It’s like a traditional Tatami to sit. Like Pashtun use it to sit. If you go to their restaurants, you would find a place like this. Look, they have put it here as well. It’s a very nice place. There is a small cafe here. Let’s see if I can get something to eat or drink. They have put chairs here. So you can spend your time here comfortably. You can enjoy the view. This is my first ferry ride in Japan. When I came to Japan before, I never rode a ferry. It’s very expensive here. I have paid 4,800 Yen. Because my bike is different CC wise. If it’s a motorcycle with less than 400 CC, it would be charged 3,600 Yen. And if it’s more than 400 CC, charges would be 4,800 Yen. So it would be around 35 USD. It’s a very expensive ferry. For next time, I will only ride when required. Otherwise, I think I will be short of budget in this tour. Have a look. It’s more luxurious than the floor below. It looks like first class tickets. There are comfortable seats and sofas. So this was a one hour fast ferry ride. Very comfortable and nice. There is a big time restriction here. Whether it’s a bus or a train. Only local trains get delayed sometimes. Like the metro. Because unfortunately, you have heard about suicides here. So that’s why there are delays. In Shinkansen, I didn’t face any problem. and now I have experienced the ferry on time. I just found out the address of a cafe. I will take a short break, eat something and then leave. In the meantime, I will see where to stay for the night. If I find a hotel or Airbnb, I will book it there. So this is a small town called Toba. The big city or major town near it is this one. It’s closed as the train is passing by. Check it out. What a scene in Japan. The train has passed by and the barriers are just lifted up. So I have found a very traditional Japanese restaurant here. They didn’t understand me. I asked Google Translate to give me whatever is served with fish. As the chicken is readily available. But it’s a very nice restaurant. You feel like you have entered a traditional village restaurant. Let’s see if they will cook for me or bring raw food. Whatever it is, I will know when it will be served. Thank you very much. Here is the soup. Let me show you one by one. Wasabi. The wasabi is here. Okay. Thank you very much. Here is the hot soup. There are beans with it. I am not sure what it is. I will know when I eat. There are eggs, noodles, vegetable salad and rice. And here is the raw fish. So I will have sushi. This is… What is this? It’s not fish. It’s a vegetable. Let’s try. It’s fine. It’s something like radish. I will have soup. The most delicious and interesting thing will be fish with wasabi. Let’s try a little. Because wasabi can be very spicy. Here is the water. Wasabi is really very spicy. You can say that it’s fulfilling. But without wasabi. I am not fond of eating wasabi. I just touch it with my food. The fish is good. It’s tuna. I eat a lot of tuna. What is this? What should I put it on? It’s soy sauce. I thought to be cautious. Let’s eat salad first. It looks delicious. I am done with the meal. I paid 1000 yen for this meal. It’s around 6 to 6.5 dollars. It’s around 7 dollars. So, it was just fine. It’s about to rain here. The prediction is that it will rain heavily in the next couple of days. I have put on my gear. Because it’s a long ride. Let’s see how far I can go. I have booked a hotel. It will take around 3 hours to reach there. I will keep on riding in the rain. Because I like this area. That’s why I thought to enjoy it. If the rain had provided me another 1 to 1.5 hours, the prediction was that it would start at 7. But it’s drizzling around 5:30 pm. It looks so beautiful. There is greenery everywhere. And this is an open area. This is how the route should be. It will be fun to ride. I am passing through the tea gardens. It looks like people have their own gardens. That’s amazing. I was thinking that I will pass through tea gardens at some point. But there is tea in houses in the village itself. There is a small area next to Kyoto which is more famous. I have marked that area. This is a bit unexpected. I think there is wheat growing here. Wow! I can see green and brown colors. Look at this. It was a beautiful and interesting ride. It’s still going on. Look at the way they have cut evenly. I love their detailed hard work. No matter how long it takes. I got to know about this while getting my motorcycle’s custom clearance. They will even mention a piece of paper. This is such a narrow road at certain sections. I think someone is coming from the front. Do I have to go up or down? It’s going up. The road is getting narrower. I have an extra light. Let’s switch it on. Otherwise, I won’t be able to see anything. I didn’t expect this to be such a narrow road. There was so much traffic at the back. All of it disappeared after going through a single curve. There are no mobile signals here. As I turned the internet on. Let’s pray that everything goes smoothly. The trees are beautiful but horrible at night. I might get scared if I come across any Japanese here. It’s really horrible here. There might be wild animals here. Arif told me that usually bears are found here. May God bless me. So far, I have not come across any wild animals on the road. The are rarely found on the roads. I avoided night rides in Africa. I usually used to go through the main roads. I can’t escape at this speed. Now the road is wider with a few houses but nobody is living here. People have built vacation homes. Finally, I have reached. The hotel is almost 170 m away. I think, it’s the one on the right side. I can’t recall the name of this area. I will tell once I park. This is the hotel. First, I have to park it here and check inn. I will take my luggage upstairs and then park it again. I have checked inn at the hotel. I was tired of riding in rain in the last few km. This area is called Namari. This is a decent room with attached washroom. I have paid 56 USD in which breakfast is included. Let’s see which kind of breakfast I get in the morning. I will rest now. I have kept the luggage here. So that I will be ready by the morning. Remember me in your prayers.
