In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don’t know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I’m raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. Welcome to Costa Rica, there is some great riding to be had here! Having said that with the rainy season here some of the rivers are going to be very high so be careful!

In such a case – just stiffen your suspension springs with rubber and you can ride for several hundreds of km to the repair shop.

La verdura que estabas probando que era redonda de color marron, se llama Ocumo, y hay otra que se llama Ñame, y otra que es Yuca ( son tuberculos, como la papa)

Ah , tu español cada dia mejor, y lo bueno es que se habla en toda Centro y Sur America, asi que vas a tener mucho mas tiempo en aprendermas.

Hi Kinga, hope you had a fabulous time with your Mom and Sister in beautiful Costa Rica. Just one thing I have done in the past as a temporary fix for a blown rear shock, if you carry anything with you that is rubber or hard foam, or can get your hands on some. If you stuff it between the coil spring it will reduce the bounce a little and stop you feeling sea sick. Thank you.
