⁴ᴷ Ishikawa: Roadside Station Wajima (石川県: 道の駅 輪島) – Japan Walking Tour (May, 2025)
Last month, I refrained from taking any long trips, but with the weather gradually warming up, I decided to set out this month on a journey to the Noto Peninsula along the Sea of Japan.

This time, it’s a rare daytime shoot. I was curious to see what the affected areas look like now, which led me to visit in person. I started walking from “Michi-no-Eki Wajima,” a roadside station built on the site of the now-defunct Wajima Station on the Nanao Line. From there, I followed a route that takes me to the area where the famous Wajima Morning Market used to be held, before turning back.
According to the news, the morning market area was destroyed by fire, and I’ve heard that the publicly funded demolition work has only recently been completed.
