【壱岐,日本】Vlog 島全体がパワースポット!!神話や魏志倭人伝にも登場した神々が宿る島壱岐の観光名所から穴場をお散歩!
I’m Poyo, who ended up traveling all over the world by chance. IkiNagasaki @poyo.sanpoI
arrived in Iki in an hour from Tsushima. This is Ashibe Port. I came by jetfoil and arrived at Ashibe Port Terminal.
Ashibe Port Terminal. Right there, there is a banner that says “From Iki to Koshien.” In the 2025 National High School Baseball Championship, Iki High School was selected to play in Koshien as part of the 21st Century枠, so there is a banner there. It’s a little timely, isn’t it? I was watching the game, and it’s amazing that they went to Koshien from Iki. There is also a monument to the Mongol invasion here. They came to Iki after Tsushima, and then landed in Hakata, so it makes sense in that order. Yes, just like the Mongol invasions that we are following in their footsteps now. It’s very quiet, see you again. It feels different from Tsushima, and there is an AEON right in front of Ashibe Port. There was one in Tsushima too, so it’s not surprising. 愛媛県の北端から南端まで、東北本線・陸羽東線を乗り継いで 旅をしてきました。 English : There’s an Aeon right there . I rented a car this time too, so let’s use it to get around Iki. There are no tall buildings around Ashibe Port. It’s amazing, it has a peaceful feel. The whole island of Iki is a power spot. What does that mean? No matter where you are , it’s a power spot based on myth. But as you come this way there are lots of cars parked and there’s a Family Mart. Let’s enjoy a drive in Iki . We’re going to Harahoge Jizo now. There’s some kind of food stall here. They sell T-shirts and tote bags as well as souvenirs. It’s definitely a pretty famous tourist spot even among the locals. There’s also a Harahoge Jizo signboard . You can go in here and pretend to be a nun, right? There’s a photo panel for two people. What’s that? It’s like I’m laughing. I laugh every time I put it on. But right now the tide is going out, so it’s low tide . Amazing. I don’t know who put them in a place like this, but isn’t it pretty impressive? There are six magnificent Jizo statues, from big to small. They say that at high tide the water is up to their stomachs. They’re so well built , it’s incredible. I assume you put offerings in the breast pocket here? They ‘re even wearing clothes. It says this is a Japanese heritage site, too . It’s interesting . There are still so many parts of Japan that we don’t know about. But it’s still interesting , it’s interesting to see things like this that are unique to remote islands, isn’t it? It’s really interesting . It may be that one day we won’t be able to see them anymore. They say the entire island of Iki is a power spot, and you can feel that from things like this. There are also many shrines, there are 130 of them. That’s right, it’s an island of shrines , a land of myth and legend. In the Gishiwajinden, it’s said that Iki had existed since that time. It’s amazing, it’s a country that even features in China’s official history. It’s really amazing, Sakyo-hana , Iki
Tsushima Quasi-National Park.Is Sakyo-hana over there? There’s a torii gate, right? It’s over there, it ‘s amazing, that pillar , that’s the Kannon pillar, the rocks are sticking out, it’s a columnar formation, it’s the Genkai Sea, the sea breeze of the Genkai Sea, it ‘s really nice here , there’s grass growing here, it looks like there might be sheep, they probably are grazing, but there’s no fence or anything, it’s just freedom and self-responsibility, I think that style is fine, it’s kind of interesting , it’s exciting, they dug here and made a road, the sea is beautiful, it’s blue, is it towards the tip of Sakyo-hana’s nose? It’s not called the tip of the nose here, but there is a torii gate at the very end. The wind is really strong and there are no fences, so it’s at your own risk. It ‘s pretty scary here. If you step off, you’re in the sea. It’s just a cliff with no sea at all . This cliff apparently continues for 1km. This steep cliff is mysterious. Amazing . You can see down from here. The sea is beautiful, but it’s dangerous and rough. I didn’t know the Genkai Sea was originally like this. It’s dangerous. It says Sakyohana Ryujin. He is enshrined here. This place is properly fenced off to protect it from the wind. It’s strange. Iki is also home to the Ghost of It was also the setting for Tsushima’s DLC so I ‘m a little familiar with it, but there are rare items at the tip of this place, the red color is nice, the torii gate, the weather is good so you can see Kyushu, it’s right there, you can see all the way to the back, it’s an amazing power spot, speaking of natural products, they say the white snow-like thing on top of the Kannon pillar is beautiful, but it’s apparently bird droppings, they live there, it seems like a good place to rest their wings, wise you don’t have to go down too far, it’s bird droppings, it’s an amazingly beautiful place, it’s a grassland but there’s the sea, it’s really strange, there’s the sea, this grassland and a torii gate at the back, it ‘s interesting , there’s a path
to Kojima Shrine, Kojima Shrine is really a small island, it said that you can only go there at a limited time during low tide, but there’s still about three hours until low tide but it looks like you can go There’s a pulled heart embedded in it. This is man-made, that’s for sure. There’s a hidden heart. But when I walk on the beach just now, it feels like I was submerged in water. It comes this far. It’s amazing at high tide. The ocean can pull this hard. It ‘s the gravity of the moon, is n’t it amazing? It’s something humans can’t do anything about. We can’t resist nature, we can’t control it. You can only go there at this time. It’s a white torii gate. They say it’s Iki’s Mont Saint-Michel, but I think that’s completely different. I think you can only cross it when the tide is out. It’s mysterious, this space is mysterious . There’s a torii gate, and behind it is a small island with sea on both sides, it’s mysterious. I wonder if you can go all the way to the top. I wonder what’s there. On top of the island, torii gates can only be built at low tide so I imagine it was difficult when they were made . They must have made it in a hurry, right? They really have to do that, it’s at the bottom of the sea and there are lots of shells, that’s what makes it mysterious We’re getting closer and there’s a sign that says Kojima Shrine. There are barnacles and stuff stuck to it. Under the torii gate , it’s usually the bottom of the sea . So let’s go to the top of the island. The smell of the seashore is amazing. It’s the sea, so you can tell that it was the sea just a moment ago . If you go to the sea side, it’s already muddy. It feels like you can go all the way around , but you might fall if you’re not careful. There are quite a few rocks. Looking at it this way, it’s not really an island, it’s more like the mainland . I just went counterclockwise around the island and found the entrance to Kojima Shrine. I saw a sign that said repairs were underway on the stairs leading up here, so they ‘ve been cleaned up. It still hurts, since it’s so close to the sea. The stairs have just been repaired, so they’re really clean and easy to walk on. We’ve reached the top, it’s a real shrine. There’s a donation box and you can ring the bell. It says Kojima Shrine. You can only visit at limited times, though. Sake is offered. You can draw a fortune slip from the lottery and wear it here . Everyone’s fortune slips are tied up , so it looks like they’ll bring you good luck . You can only come here for a few hours, so I wonder if you can only come at low tide, which occurs twice a day. It says that there are many benefits here, as written on the sign. Yes, not only for safety at sea, but also for prayers for a good catch and success in love, and it’s a power spot, so let’s go and pray. Here too, we pray with two bows, two claps, and one bow. There ‘s good luck. The sea is so beautiful and amazing. It’s calmer than the Sakyo-hana spot we were at earlier, and it’s an inland bay. This place is really in an amazing place. I thought there would be more people here, but there weren’t that many. We had the place to ourselves. This side is really rough. How far can we go? Surely we can go? Can we go all the way around? I’ll give it a go, but the footing is unstable. This is just the other side of the island , and it’s not really a good place to walk. It’s not that good, the rocks are hard to walk on and it was hard to walk over there too, but there isn’t much sand, you can go around it, it’s quite wide, but to get to the shrine it’s better to go counterclockwise, starting from the right, there’s not really any need to go all the way here, there’s nothing special there but I went and said I went , Poyo proved it, it’s pointless, Hara no Tsuji ruins,
this is where the royal capital of Ikikoku was located, it’s been restored, this person is from Ikikoku, at the entrance, Hara no Tsuji, the royal capital was here, it’s written in the Wei Zhi Wajinden, this is amazing, why was it here, there ‘s a residence, admission is free by the way, it’s a really old house , isn’t it the kind of house you learn about in textbooks, you know, houses like this are often found in textbooks, it ‘s been restored, you can’t go inside, this is the elders’ house, it’s quite spacious, the elders really live in a nice place, the wisdom of the people of the past is amazing, they made it out of straw and wood like this, and this is the meeting place The meeting hall standing right next to the elder’s house is also very well built, is it made of earth? There used to be a country here, called Ikikoku, which is written differently from the current Iki. Yes, they decided to build the royal capital here. The king decided that this was the royal capital, was it the center or the location? There must have been a reason for it, right? Yes, they wouldn’t have built it without a reason, it’s very well built, it looks like it could protect from the rain and wind, but I guess that’s how it was built, it was built based on documents, it’s on raised floors, the real thing looks like this, just like in the textbooks, raised floors aren’t places for people to live, are they storehouses? Storehouses and other places where food is kept, rats eat it, don’t they have mouse traps or something? Rats eat anything, if you leave it on the floor they’ll eat it, so they made the floor high like this and stored it on raised floors, it was the wisdom of the people of the past, it’s really a history lesson, I wonder what that is, it’s like a watchtower, it’s amazing, it’s four stories, was it there back then? Could they have built such tall buildings? 間と一緒に おいしいお野菜とおいしいお酒を楽しみました。 English: I don’t understand, but this is a residential area, is n’t it amazing? There are homes for people from abroad and accommodations for foreign envoys, so was the spirit of hospitality there even back then? Well, Ikkikoku is also close to the Korean Peninsula, so I’m sure all kinds of people came here too. You can’t go up to the top, but isn’t it really high? It’s high. There was probably nothing there back then so you could have had a panoramic view. It’s amazing that they built it from scratch to say someone’s come. Isn’t it surrounded? The venue for festivals and ceremonies is hidden from view from all sides, and this is the main hall, and it’s huge , for holding festivals and ceremonies. It’s particularly impressive is the building where the king of Ikkik enshrined the gods, and the shining side hall looks like you could go inside, and they say this is a place to purify yourself and change clothes, so this kind of thing has been around since back then, there ‘s pottery and the human face rock that this person is holding, which is apparently the only human face rock found in Japan and is apparently on display in a museum nearby from here. It’s ominous , when you go inside the ceiling isn’t that high, people in the past were small, isn’t the average height for men around 150-160cm? Did they plant trees like this to cover their eyes in the past too? I’m not sure if it has really been restored to that extent, but ‘s so
I came to Tsutsukihama, which is one of Japan’s 100 best beaches. It beautiful. Iki is also one of Japan’s 100 best beaches, and the white sand beach is insanely beautiful. It ‘s not just for show that it’s one of Japan’s 100 best beaches. I like this curved shape, it’s amazing. The airport is just around the corner. On the back side is the beach closer to the airport. It’s so beautiful, the soil is soft and has a gradation. I wonder why beaches on remote islands are so beautiful. It feels pure, it feels nice. It looks like it would be fun to just lay a picnic sheet here and space out. Digital detox, Poyo. You always seem to space out, don’t you? It’s rare that you don’t, even though you seem to. With such white sand, blue sea, and white sand, this should be chosen as one of the 100 best beaches. If it’s this beautiful, there should be one right next to here too. There’s a beach called Ohama that looks beautiful too, so let’s go there. We’re heading to Ohama that I mentioned earlier. We’re going under the runway from here now. It’s really narrow, only one car can pass through. After we go through the tunnel that we just came out of is the beach. The sand here is white too. Ohama beach
is another beautiful beach. This beach could easily be chosen as one of the 100 best beaches in Japan. It’s pretty wide, isn’t it? It goes all the way over there. I’m sure it gets very busy with beachgoers in the summer. It’s only 2-3 minutes from the beach we were just at, so you can come whichever you like. Both are beautiful, but this one has more sand. I wonder what it is, there are lots of little shells lying around. There are quite a few of them lying around, I guess the shells come floating down . Isn’t it really wide? It goes all the way over there. There’s also a bridge . I wonder why there’s a bridge there. It’s a river , it’s connected to the sea and the bridge . This is a bridge, but you can also get there from here. It’s so wide, it would really be great to come here in the summer. You can swim and it’s great. Monkey Rock
Monkey Rock . . I can see it, it’s a really monkey, it’s a monkey looking to the side , it’s looking towards the setting sun, it’s dusk so it’s apparently a famous sunset spot, it’s really a monkey, it’s a really monkey , it’s probably hard to see because of the backlight, but it looks like a monkey, it was made by nature, it’s amazing because this is natural, isn’t it a pretty realistic monkey? I’m amazed that someone noticed that it looks like a monkey, the park is pretty big, it ‘s not just Monkey Rock, you can get closer from here, but surely that angle makes it look the most like a monkey, isn’t it? If you come straight on, it’s just a rock , it’s just a rock, it doesn’t look like a monkey anymore, it ‘s true, there are many places on Iki where you can get close, it’s pretty open, I like how far you can go, I can’t see the end yet, I’m pretty close though, I can see it, the front of Monkey Rock, I’m not sure what the front is, it’s a rock, it’s rugged, there’s no fence or anything again, it’s a pattern, yeah, there’s nothing, if I fall it’s the end of the story, and it’s a sunset spot, so it’s beautiful, Ghost It also appeared in Tsushima. Monkey Rock is nostalgic . You can get pretty close. But the view from the parking lot is the best way to see the monkeys. You can get close, but the rocks stand tall. I recommend watching it from the parking lot. The sun will set soon. You might be able to see a beautiful view of Monkey Rock and the sunset. Let’s wait a little longer. The sunset is beautiful. It looks pretty clear . I can’t see the sunset sinking into the burning horizon. But it’s still beautiful enough. It’s almost time. It’s already starting to sink. Monkey Rock and the sunset are mystical. The monkeys are really watching the sunset. Now that the sun has set and it’s no longer backlit, it’s a little easier to see. The monkeys watching the sun . There are clouds now . Because you’re up against nature. But it’s burning. You took a lot of beautiful photos, didn’t you? Here are the photos Poyo took. Let’s go back to the town where we worked so hard to take photos and go for dinner. Iki Beef and Wagyu Beef GenToday I made a reservation for Yakiniku Gen, so I’m going to eat meat here. I heard I can eat Iki beef. It might be my first time. Let’s go. It’s a rare brand, and since only about 900 head are shipped per year, it ‘s hard to get a taste of it. The building is really nice and stylish. Iki beef, Wagyu beef, sauce, grated daikon, salt, wasabi, everything looks delicious. They have yakiniku menu, horumon, and seafood. They also have overnight dried squid , and there’s a regular assortment. They even have steaks, and they have motsunabe. The drink menu is also very extensive, and they also have desserts. I’m ordering now, and it seems that you can order via QR code. Iki beef moriki 9,000 yen
moriki assortment is amazing it’s all Iki beef it’s my first time eating it top kalbi beef slices loin lean meat it’s delicious it’s definitely amazing isn’t it? amazing there’s one tong for each person the beef fat in the paper is also good beef fat shall we start by grilling the lean meat? it feels like yakiniku it looks delicious it seems to cook pretty quickly it’s probably better not to overcook it that way let’s start with the lean meat it looks delicious I’ll eat it with salt it ‘s simple and good it’s delicious it’s so delicious it makes me laugh I was surprised I thought lean meat was a bit tough because it has less fat but it breaks apart when you bite into it top It’s loin, and it looks delicious too. It’s loin, but maybe I should add a little sauce because I added salt. The loin is delicious. The loin is lighter . This is apparently a fillet steak. Iki
beef fillet steak 200g 7,900 yen 200g is amazing. I’m going to enjoy Iki beef to the fullest. I’ll eat it for the rest of my life. I don’t get this often so I ordered it medium rare, but it’s really tender. It ‘s medium rare. The sweetness of the red meat is really strong. It’s really tender, so it really cuts when you bite into it. The sauce is a little mild, so I think it would be delicious with some wasabi or mustard as an accent. I’ll go with wasabi and salt . The salty taste of the wasabi and salt is completely different , and the meat tastes sweeter than before . I was surprised at how delicious the Iki beef was. Thank you for the meal . Here is the room at Iki Marina Hotel Iki . It’s very cute. This orange cover has a Hawaiian feel to it. The whole thing is pink and bright, which is nice. And here are the cups and the tea pot. There is a kettle and a hair dryer here, so I’m happy. Just having a hair dryer makes all the difference. And there’s a TV, too. There’s a table, so that’s nice. There’s a table and loungewear . The closet is here, and there are hangers too. They have Lysol, which is great, they also have disposable slippers. With these, it would be perfect. And then there’s the bathroom. The bathroom is here and is very clean. There is a washlet , and hand soap, body soap, conditioner, shampoo, everything you need is provided. Toothbrushes and combs are also provided , there are enough for two people. A hair razor is also very good. Of course, there are towels too. I will be staying here for one night. Good morning, my last morning . Second day in Iki. Today I would like to enjoy Iki until the time for the boat to depart. By the way, I just noticed, aren’t those kids over there Saruiwa? It’s shaped like the Monkey Rock. If you look at it from the parking lot, it looks like it’s facing this way. It’s facing the same way as the Monkey Rock. There are so many of them. The sea is beautiful. I could see it from my room, after all. It’s bright today so I can see Iki High School. In the back, they made it to the national tournament and the whole island was cheering them on. There were banners everywhere, there were banners up there too. The shrine we’re heading to is also a bit interesting, it seems like it would bring good luck to men. I think it would bring good luck to women too, but it’s a shrine that has many benefits. It’s right next to the hotel we were staying at. It’s right in front of us, we’ve arrived. Sai Shrine. This phallic object that you see as soon as you enter the shrine seems like it would bring good luck . I think it would be a power spot for both men and women alike. When it comes to nighttime activities, it’s pretty big, isn’t it? This statue is big . There’s one over here too. It’s holding a penis in its hand. It’s a stamp. There are actually three phallic stamps Goi, this one has been inked, it’s interesting, there is a fortune book and a phallus displayed inside, there are quite a few of them all over Japan, there are phallic shrines , there are quite a few phallic temples around the world too, but they are interesting customs that are rooted in the land , there is a pedestal so you can touch it, I approached and was told it would bring me good fortune, this is a power spot , apparently it is lit up at night too, I couldn’t come at night this time but I came first thing in the morning, thanks to you, I came to see the demon’s footprints on
a refreshing morning , what are demon’s footprints? That’s what I want to ask, are they really shaped like a demon’s foot, or are they big, Iki has a lot of parks like this, it’s definitely grass, yesterday’s place was grass too , but because we’ll soon be at the edge of the island, it ‘s compact and nice, this rock you can see on the right is also said to be the smiling gorilla rock, Gorilla rock? なほど山登りを楽しんだ後は、 ハイデルに 戻ります。 English: I can definitely see it Is it smiling? It has clear eyes, noses and mouths There are a lot of them, monkeys, gorillas, the sea feels nice The wind isn’t that strong today and the sea isn’t rough so it feels nice I can already see it, Poyo These are the oni’s footprints It’s here It was several times bigger than I thought A demon stepped on it A demon stepped on it Apparently it’s about 110m The size of the hole There is a legend of Onigashima in Iki so isn’t the demon too big? It was a mythical land where they lived so how many hundred meters must it be The oni themselves are huge As expected, there are no fences here either You can fall off easily If you want to get down you can, but even if you do get down it’s scary No no no You can cross the narrow parts of the oni’s footprints It’s your own fault but how narrow are they? It’s quite narrow There are no fences or anything For some reason this is the only place that looks like a road A proper path-like path has been built Isn’t everyone walking on it? It’s quite a narrow place, from here it looks very long When I saw it from the other side it looked round horizontally but it ‘s quite long It’s a long footprint, so it’s a foot, so it must be long When it was over there it didn’t really feel like a foot, but when I came over here it really looks like a foot You wouldn’t know unless you came all the way here It’s scary here, it must be scary because there’s a hollow underneath and they don’t know when this will collapse This place where they’re standing If you think about it, it’s scary so let’s hurry up and take pictures Iki Dolphin Park & Resort
Speaking of Iki , it’s Iki Dolphin Park Is that right? I don’t know I’ve never seen a facility where you can interact with dolphins before It’s on Iki after all It’s not amazing I wonder what it’s like There isn’t a dolphin show in particular, but you can really interact with dolphins The entrance fee is 1,000 yen plus if you do various things the price was different for each experience but I just got this A kiss on the hand 2,000 yen
Will they give you a kiss on the hand? They’re already there The dolphins really do interact with dolphins when you’re surfing Scary as hell when you encounter itThe handmade bridge is already thereThe dolphins are waiting for youIt’s close bySit on this mat and the trainer will ask you to put your hand outSo, put your hand out like thisGot itIt ‘s okay to keep your hand out until you blow the whistleThe trick is to put it a little further backThat’s how you do itThey’re smartLooking towards the camera will make a good photoI think it’s best to do it lowerThat’s a smart dolphinThey’ll be given one last mealToss it into their mouthsThat’s the lastThank youThis is the endThey said goodbyeThey’re so smartThey even got to feed themWe did it togetherHow was it?Squid touchBe gentleThey don’t have dolphin shows but they are training the dolphinsIt looks like it feels goodThe sea of IkiThe sea of Iki is beautifulThe sea of Iki is so beautifulIt looks like it feels goodThe dolphinsYou don’t often see what goes on behind the scenes of that kind of trainingThey have really big mouthsThey swallow fish wholeAnd their teeth are pretty sharp They’re huge and you can see them up close. The close location is really great. You can’t experience this at an aquarium, you can only experience this here. These cubs are such good friends, they’re splashing around and swimming in sync. We’re not locals so the entrance fee was 1000 yen, but I guess it’s free for Iki residents. There are play equipment there too, so it’s good for bringing kids. Let them play here all day. The facility itself has a cafe, some play equipment, and dolphins, and it’s compact. It’s not a big facility, there are rabbits and lots of other animals, and there’s an aquarium too, it’s amazing, it’s so cute when they jump out like this . There are books about dolphins in rings ? But it’s not just that, there’s also travel, there’s loads of National Geographic, I like National Geographic, I think people who travel like National Geographic, there’s AKIRA, there ‘s Nausicaa, it’s got a nice feel, they have key chains, tumblers, stickers, they’re cute, there’s a cafe too, it sells craft beer, there ‘s a cafe attached and it’s stylish. You can stay here for the whole day, so there’s a set time for the experience, and you can stay here while you’re waiting for it, so you can relax Isn’t it great? I think it’s a really great idea. I came to the fresh fish market
run by fishermen. It looks like they’ll be cooking the freshly caught local fish, so I’m looking forward to it. There’s sashimi, too, and the Iki
special for 2,000 yen. It also comes with miso soup, rice, and a small side dish. It also comes with fried horse mackerel , so all of this is 2,000 yen. It ‘s not super luxurious, is it? The Iki special looks too delicious. Let’s eat. I’m happy to eat fish every day. This live yellowtail sashimi is very meaty and delicious. It’s a fish that was alive just a moment ago, so it’s really sweet . It’s the best. Tatsunoshima Yu
We’re going to Tatsunoshima Island by sightseeing boat. You need a ticket. It seems you can even go ashore at this time of year, which is exciting. A sightseeing boat and a landing. We bought a 2,500 yen ticket per person , so let’s get on . It seems you can board 5 minutes before the time, and they say the second floor is recommended. Yes, the sea is a really emerald green. Tatsunoshima Island is close, but I wonder if the sightseeing course is long. It goes all the way around, so it takes 40 minutes. It’s beautiful even from afar, the sand is pure white, and the sea is so beautiful , I want to swim, you can swim in the summer, it’s so beautiful , it’s said to be a palace in the sea, isn’t it too clear? Palace of the SeaThis area is so beautifulThere are so many things to seeThe sea is beautifulThese caves are connected from the insideReally connected from the insideThe cavesIt’s windy today so we’re going a different routeIt really is strongIt’s not always like thisPoyo’s hair is amazingThere ‘s a hawk’s nest that’s ragingReally there are hawksIt’s also a home for wild birdsIt’s a deserted island so it really is a treasure trove of natureThe sea is really emerald greenIt’s called Hebigadani because it curves like a snake’s nestInside ? AmazingWhat is this? It’s a snake-like valleyWhy is it so jagged? It must be natural for it to turn out like thisWith a sword It’s amazing how they’re chopping it up. What is this ? It wouldn’t be strange if it collapsed. That’s mammoth rock. It has a hole in it, can you see it with Poyo’s camera? Does it look like a mammoth? It definitely looks like a mammoth . You can get pretty close. It’s really rough. You can see it so close. Interesting . I thought we would view it from afar because it’s a sightseeing trip, but you can see it so close. We’ve landed.
We’ve arrived at Tatsunoshima . It looks like we can take it easy for an hour. Let’s go. There were several groups there, but only two of us landed. We’re not amazing. The water is so clear, it must be one of the 100 best swimming beaches in Japan. This one will be chosen. It’s so beautiful . There’s a proper path. Isn’t it amazing to have an uninhabited island to yourself ? There are only two of us on this vast island of Tatsuno, just the two of us living on a deserted island. The start of our deserted island life in an hour. It’s well managed, it’s so beautiful. What’s the condition? It’s calm. This side, where we just toured Tsushima, was rough but the inside is a bay so it’s calm and shallow, I guess. Everyone on the boat left us behind and we ‘re the only ones left. It would be a shame to just go ashore, it’s like heaven . Amazing. The beach is shallow so the color of the ocean is beautiful. It’s worth coming just to see this ocean. There seem to be quite a few tourist spots on the island too. We only have an hour so let’s hurry . There are toilets and such, but they’re broken, they say. They ‘re broken now, but they’ll probably be fixed by summer. Yes, they might get it fixed by the swimming season. You can climb the mountain, it seems like a great spot. No, it’s the stairs to go up the mountain. Let’s start exploring from here. Explore the island. There’s more up, right? It’s beautiful enough here, but it seems there’s even higher. It looks like this. There are trees, but they’re low. It’s spring, so it’s not too cold or hot, and the temperature is good for exploring. There’s quite a bit to go up, it’s quite a hike to the top. It’s already beautiful behind you. Poyo, it’s true, this is near the summit. It’s true, the weather is nice, so it’s beautiful when the sun hits it. Hebi-ga-dani. This is also Iki-Taishima Quasi-National Park. There must be the demon’s footprints, it ‘s in this deep place, it’s also a narrow place. There’s a fence here, as expected . It’s dangerous here, if you fall it’s over, there’s no way you’ll be saved. There’s a cliff on this side too . I saw it from outside earlier , it’s already vertical, it really does turn into a snake, and this one is the demon’s footprints and you can see two, it’s long and vertical, true These are demon footprints. You can’t see demon footprints unless you go ashore. How were they made? How did a giant demon get here? But it’s impossible, isn’t it? It could be done if it was on a soft surface like the reproduced sand on the beach. A place this hard has no choice but to be destroyed. Iki is really full of power spots. There are great things about Japan I’ve yet to see. Remote islands are fun. The view from here is the best. You can really see how blue it is from above. The color is completely different. The transparency is high . The walking path is long, and I couldn’t see it all in just an hour. Finally, let’s go a little further in from the beach. We can go all the way to the edge. Surely we can leave footprints here? We can . It sinks quite a bit. It feels like a thud . It sinks quite a bit here. Poyo’s footprints are really going up and down. It was in the sea just a moment ago. That’s why the only footprints are Poyo’s. Look at this The water is so clear and the waves are so calm I’m at a loss for words They’re already here to pick me up It’s so fast It’s a bit tough to walk around in just an hour It went by so quickly It’s not impossible, but you end up rushing Plus, this time we were taking pictures so we needed a bit more time The sights of the island are concentrated on the promenade You don’t have to go here and there But you can see Peach from above If you come to Iki, this is one place you should visit Yes, if you’ve come all the way to Iki you should come here So let’s go back to Iki We’re going home Takenotsuji
The highest point in Iki Takenotsuji From here it’s a promenade that takes you to the central observation deck As expected , nature is beautiful everywhere and the food is delicious It’s been a while since I’ve traveled to Japan and it was great There it is , the central observation deck Takenotsuji Altitude 212.5m I ‘ve come to the highest mountain in Iki I’ve reached the summit No, we’ve come all the way to Iki in no time . We can go even higher . What a nice view. You can see the whole view. Amazing. There are cherry blossoms blooming near the peak. What a nice view. You can see all around . This is the last time I’ve seen Iki. I wonder when I can come again. It’s time to go back. Gonoura Port Terminal
. Finally I’ve arrived at the ferry terminal. The ferries and jetfoils are all here. It’s a different terminal from the one I used to go to. For the return trip I’ll take the Gonoura Terminal. From here I’ll take the jetfoil back to Hakata. If it’s an hour it’ll be quick. I wonder what’s inside. It looks pretty spacious . There are restaurants too, they have steaks and the like. You can eat seafood too, and you can drink that too. You can also drink alcohol and shochu. It’s famous as the birthplace of barley shochu. And there’s a souvenir shop. They sell dried fish at the shop. Dolphin pie. This is cute, isn’t it? It has a face like that. I saw it just now. If it’s Iki then There are souvenirs available. They also sell the usual drinks and sea urchin. It’s sea urchin salt. It looks delicious. 3,600 yen. And then there’s shochu, of course . Iki is the birthplace of barley shochu. There ‘s a wide variety, it’s irresistible. For those who love alcohol, Japanese shochu. Saying goodbye to the beautiful sea of Iki. My trip to Iki and Tsushima is coming to an end. I stayed in Iki for 1 night and 2 days, and in Tsushima for 2 nights and 3 days, but I think I was able to see the main places with just that. The sea was really beautiful, and although it’s not a southern island, the sea was beautiful and it was amazing. Also, the toilets are amazing. Japan is really beautiful. When you come back from traveling abroad, you think it’s amazing. Even the toilets in the port have warm toilet seats and they put in toilet paper properly, and I once again realized how amazing the toilet situation in Japan is. Now, I’m off on a 1-hour trip to Hakata . Shibaharaku will be taking a walk overseas again!
