50$ Hair Cutting in 105 Years old Japanese Barber 🇯🇵 S8 EP 98 | Yamaguchi | Pakistan to Japan Tour

Assalam-o-Alaikum everyone. Welcome back to the channel from Kamakura. It’s about 2 to 2.25 hours from Tokyo. Although, it’s not more than 50 to 60 km. But it took me more than 2 hours to reach here. I came here from Machida. The reason I came here is I wanted to show you the area of Kamakura. It’s a beautiful and small tourist town. Apart from that, I saw multiple videos of South Korea and Japan. One thing I really liked was the barber shops here. A lot of people asked me to go through this experience and then share. I decided to share it with you. There is a famous barber shop here. I saw videos on YouTube and made a reservation. So let’s go there first. Then I will take you to Kamakura. It’s about half an hour away from here. This is the barber shop from outside. You won’t even know that it’s a barber shop. It’s a very small shop. I didn’t see any advertisement outside. I only saw scissors here. So I knew that it’s here. It’s a very small shop. Mostly, I have seen shops like this in Japan. People might recognize it through Japanese written here. I have been here 2 to 3 times. Then I came to know that it’s a shop here. It’s right next to the main road. Let me show you from inside. Then he will start the hair cut. So this is the barber shop. From here, I will have my hair cut. As you can see, it’s very simple. It’s very traditional. You won’t see many luxuries here. When you come inside, you feel like it’s an old antique shop. Mostly, there are simple things made of wood. As you can see, there are a lot of books here. Where are you from? From Pakistan Yes, I am traveling in Japan. So how old is this shop? 130 years I am 4th generation. What’s your name? My name is Taro. He is Masao. Masao. I have never been to such an old shop for hair cut. First customer from Pakistan. No, Pakistan. Pakistan, right? The first Pakistani customer in 130 years. Karachi. Karachi. Karachi? I think he said Karachi or something else. What hair cut do you like? Just trim? Yes, just trim. Whatever you like the best. No cut? Just simple, I like that. Medium? Yes, medium. 2 months? 2 months, yes. It’s been 2 months since I got my hair cut. May it turn out to be good. I am a little nervous. I think my hair is too short from the sides. I told him to do whatever he feels like. Let’s see. I think my hair is too short from one side compared to the other. Maybe you can see in the camera. Maybe he will shampoo now. I think you can see it in the camera. Or not? So, head massage shampoo. It was the best experience so far. And the uncle used menthol shampoo. So, my head is cool now. We will be waiting for 2-3 minutes. Okay, thank you. I am not sure what he is applying on my head. Baba is a YouTuber. Okay. ASMR. Relaxer Han is from Korea. Dong ASMR is from Singapore. From Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan, okay. He is asking me to sign here. Wow. Thank you. Look at this. Wrote my name. Wild lens by Abrar, Pakistan. Thank you. Here is his owner. This is my father. So, your father. Yeah. This is my mom. This is my grandmother. So, they started this barbershop? No, he. They started the barbershop. He started it, actually. He is showing me the family photos. Looks like Japanese. Yes. French. Oh, French? No. They are Japanese. 1947. Almost 80 years. Thank you. 78. Okay. Let’s go. Thank you very much. So, I’m done with the hair cut. I won’t tell you much about it. You can tell me if I look too handsome. What difference do you see? Of course, the cutting is done. I liked the experience more than the cutting. Especially, the head massage. And the small things. Which really made the cutting experience better. The cutting and head massage took 1 hour. And here, they charge you per minute. Normally, they do the hair cut in 10 minutes. So, if you go somewhere, they might charge you 1000 yen. Here, they took 1 hour. So, they charged me 6000 yen. If you convert 6,000 yen, I think it will be around 50 to 51 dollars, so it’s quite expensive. I mean, I rarely go for expensive hair cut. Normally, wherever I get availability in Pakistan, I go to them. Sometimes they cut hair for 200 to 300 rupees, sometimes for 500, sometimes for 2,000 to 2,500. In our society, they cut my hair and shave me for 500 rupees. But if I go to someone else, it costs 2,500 to 3,000 rupees. In Germany, it was around 15 to 20 euros. Anyway, it was a good experience. I hope you will like it. Now the problem is that I have come here on Arif’s car. But Arif told me a few things about the car. After that, he took the keys with him. I drove the car and came here. Now the car is parked in front of me, but I don’t have the key. So now I have to go to Shin-Yokohama to get the key, where Arif’s office is nearby. I’ll get the key from there, come back, pick up the car and go to Kamakura. I don’t know how long it will take me to reach Shin-Yokohama. The punishment for forgetting the key is that it will take 1.5 hours to reach Shin-Yokohama and 1.5 hours to come back. The 3 hours worth seeing Kamakura will be wasted. Let’s see what I can do. Such mistakes do happen. But this is the first time that I drove the car and forgot the key. I made a mistake anyway. Let’s go. I have reached near the train station. I reached here by bus. I have got the key from Arif. Sir, thank you very much. I am good on the motorcycle. I won’t use the car. Thank you very much. It’s 7 pm now. I got my haircut done at 3 pm. I have reached Kamakura station after 4 hours. I was very hungry. But I ordered a cup of coffee and a cake. After that, I will explore the city. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to explore the city. But I have been to Kamakura before. There is a Buddha statue here. It is closed now. I can’t go and see it. But I will try to show you the city. Sometimes, things don’t happen as per the plan. Today is one such day when nothing goes as planned. I am also worried about my motorcycle. I am getting so many emails. That’s also taking a lot of my attention. And it is not getting cleared yet. I have already spent a lot of money on that. Let’s see how it goes. Japan is beautiful, no doubt. But it has disappointed me in some aspects. Regarding some of the process here. Anyway, let’s eat and drink. I will share the details about the motorcycle in some other video. This is Kamakura’s city center. Let’s see. It is 7.15 pm. It should still be lively here for another hour or two. Let’s take a walk from the city center. It is a tourist town. But people come here mostly for a day trip from Tokyo. To visit the temple and see the Buddha statue. And also this city center. It is a beautiful food street. Some shops are open right now. The big lamps you see here are similar to the ones found in temples. They are closing the shops now… at 7 pm. It feels like there is no one here. It is so empty. When you come from Tokyo, to visit such a big touristy town and see it like this in the evening. It’s not a weekend. That could be the reason. There is a lot of rush on weekends. I think we should go back to the train station after a short walk. Because it is not open right now. Everything is closed. Not only international tourists come here, but locals also come to see the temple. This is our car. After changing so many buses and trains, I have finally reached here. If we had a physical key, it would not have been a problem. But as they say… Everything happens for a reason. This may have served us some bigger good. I am going to leave now. Despite everything, I hope you would have liked this vlog. Such issues keep coming up. That uncle gave me such a nice massage. But this problem has ruined that as well. Let’s pray that we get our Rangeeli soon. Or at least we get some information from the customs. So that I can decide my next step. Remember me in your prayers. Don’t forget to Like, Subscribe and Share. Allah Hafiz.
