From Amsterdam to China by bike [Full Movie]

The full journey of a lifetime — cycling all the way from Amsterdam to China by bike! This is the full documentary of my solo outdoor adventure across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, traveling on the Silk Road like Marco Polo, through breathtaking nature, cities from ancient history, remote villages, and beautiful mountains. But the core of the travel was the people, seeing the anthropology and sociology of the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. I lived on the road with my tent, sleeping in the houses of locals, solo travelling, meeting and reporting their incredible stories.

Whether you’re passionate about bikepacking, interested in cross-continental travel, or just love cycling documentaries, this film will take you deep into the heart of one of the world’s most incredible overland routes and bike travels. From the Danube River to the Pamir Highway, through Persian deserts, Turkish lakes, and Central Asian mountains of 5,000 meters! Overlanding Europe, overlandng Iran, overlnding Asia. Such a great outdoo expirience, a stunning travel by bicycle.

Directed by Dario Crippa, Davide Lupini, Vera Konst.
Starring: Dario, Jeski, Lupo, Veri, all the people I met on the road.
A Monterojo Hoodboy Production.

It is more difficult to make a movie about cycling to China then cycling to China itself.

Follow for the return from China to Europe by TRAIN (Transsiberian in Russia)! 🚂

  1. I'm gonna be travelling soon. Not in anyway close to the way you travelled in this film, but it's making me excited to try new things.

  2. Wow, it`s fantastic video! It is so spiritual, so true, so emotional… I also riding but never so far, and this video is motivated me to live this life, to feel this energy and trying to do impossible things. Thank you!

  3. That was a well spent hour. What a fabulous piece of documentary. Hats off to you guys for the journey, the courage, the love and passion. And the film editing. Great work.

  4. There is one problem with this video. It is too short. I watched many documentaries in my life. I have seen a very very good films about about travel, culture, people but this film is the most beautiful I have ever seen and I want more.

  5. Beautiful. Real. Let me tell you something: when I was 35, I left my job, as well as my wife. Just before having kids, we wanted to explore the world. We traveled a lot. Many countries, amazing experiences! Perhaps for a European, this sounds normal, but living in Brazil, with a weak currency, this was a big deal. We traveled the world and had so many similar experiences like yours. After that, I did my Camino de Santiago, and later, I cycled from Switzerland to the Netherlands, following the Rhine River, from its origin to its destination in the sea. Why am I telling this? Because after you start it, you just CAN'T stop. Next summe, I will be traveling with my 7 years old daughter and wife in our first adventure with a Camper Van with my family. Traveling is the best university course everyone can have. GREAT MOVIE! It's really amazing to travel with you! All the best! Cheers from Delft-NL

  6. Woow, raw and inspirational. Could be easily broadcasted on TV as a documentary on sunday morning while thinking how to start next week…

  7. Thanks for sharing this episode of your life with us. For giving us impressions of beautiful people, living in distant landscapes and unknown cultures. Thanks for the images you capture, for your kind voice telling that story of freedom, hope and humanity.

  8. I had to stop the video multiple times to reflect on what you show in it. Sometimes my breaks ended up in laughter. Most of them in tears.
In a society where fast rewards, enticing stimuli, and shallow interactions coexist, you seem to have broken out of the matrix and showed us a blue vs. red pill dilemma.
And knowing that for the most of it, keeping to our regular lives is what’s waiting for us is suffocating. However you brought us some fresh and pure oxygen to breath out of for a straight hour.

I really love watching these and I am so happy I can call you a friend!

Can’t wait to see more from you and Monterojo Hoodboy 🫀

  9. Ive watched about every bicycle touring video on the internet and some get boring easily. This one however is different, its a piece of art. So well put together, so many different sceneries, stories, people, random inputs. It never got boring at one point! I love tou started of in my country and i wish to do a similar journey myself. Im baffled by how little you spend on this trip. Youre a huge inspiration man. The kindness you witnessed on this journey will forever change a man im sure ❤ bless fratello, grazie for the content 🎉

  10. Bravo, grazie mille. Such inspiring journey. It reminds me of my cycling trips back in the time when there was not internet. Everything was an adventure, but yours is not less.

  11. What a lovely inspiring documentary this was to watch on a Sunday morning. Love that you started the journey here in The Netherlands! Yes we love cycling so much that fits perfectly. You must have had the most amazing encounters and variety in landscapes. It made me remember my own solo travels! Thanks So well made. Take Care. Ciao

  12. Thanks for this beauty of a story! Enjoyed watching, also the beauty of Iran stands out for me! ❤

  13. Truly an epic, inspiring and real life video you sir have put together. It truly shows humanity at its finest. I really like your letters to your mother, specifically how we shouldn’t be consumed with money but for the finer things in life. Really enjoyed this journey!!!

  14. Очень круто, било грустно что видео закончилось. Мои поздравления!

  15. Did you know that you can go to Heaven for free? This one decision can change your life and eternity forever. You've heard that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead – it means He paid the price for your sins by shedding His Blood so you can be forgiven, saved and have a personal relationship with your Creator. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. Sin is a condition where you're separated from God. Jesus cancelled sin. All you have to do is be willing in your mind to have your life and heart changed, believe in your heart (know for sure not just hope) that Jesus rose from the dead for you. External fruit such as following Jesus and seeking Him daily will be natural as a result of your internal change and beliefs. Watch how the Holy Spirit moves in your life.. 🙂 much love and God bless you!!
