【秘湯】 天空の露天風呂と青い目の龍 2025年 ドラゴンアイと藤七温泉

Hachimantai Dragon’s Eye Opening Hello from the sky “How to Walk Japan” I’m heading to Hachimantai alone. The Dragon’s Eye is about to open. In the northeastern Tohoku region, there is a story about a dragon called “The Legend of the Three Lakes”. It is a story about a young man named Hachirotaro from Akita Prefecture who transforms into a dragon and creates Lake Towada, Lake Tazawa, and Lake Hachirogata in his later life . It may not be strange if a dragon was sleeping in Hachimantai, which towers over the area (it’s just a legend…) I climbed the Asupite Line and headed for Kagami-numa from Hachimantai Rest House. There seems to still be snow left this season, so I prepared for a light hike and set out. What does the Dragon’s Eye look like? Turn right here and you’ll reach the entrance to the Asupite Line. Be careful as the road is closed at night. The Asupite Line is famous for its spectacular views. It used to be a toll road, but it has been free since 1992. As I showed in the previous video, a “snow corridor” appears in late April, entertaining tourists. I don’t think the “snow corridor” is there anymore today, but there are still snow walls remaining in places. Will it be possible to reach the Dragon Eye? On the left, the view is magnificent, but I’m alone so I can’t take a photo. I paid the 500 yen parking fee and started trekking from here. This is the border between Akita and Iwate prefectures. There is a sign that says Dragon Eye. It’s 20 minutes from my current position to Kagami-numa (Dragon Eye). I won’t go this way (Gamanuma, Hachimanuma) today. If possible, I’d like to go to “Kusanoyu”… Kusanoyu is a natural hot spring on the other side of the mountain peak. There is already snow piled up near the entrance . And before I knew it , I had this view… Until the first fork in the road, there was some snow and some not, but from here on it was all snow. There is a red cloth indicating the course, so you can’t get lost, but it’s hard to walk on snow. It was my first trekking trip this year, so it was a bit tough… I’m planning to go to Karasawa Hutte this year, but I’m not sure if I can make it like this . It took about 20 minutes to reach Kagami-numa. It’s not that dangerous even if you come here as a tourist. The dragon has its eyes half open. It’s not quite fully opened yet, but it looks like it’s pretty much shaped. The weather isn’t good, so the color of the eyes is cloudy. When the weather is good, they shine like this. The weather is important when you come here! That said, there was a lot of snow in the mountains this year, so the opening of the eyes is delayed. However, if it’s shaped like this, the dragon will wake up soon! From here, we head further in, aiming for the summit. It takes 20 minutes from Dragon Eye to the summit , but the snowy road is different from usual. Hmm? Am I a little tired? I ‘m not getting enough exercise. It feels like it’s further away than before. I haven’t met anyone since Dragon Eye, so I’m a little worried. There are people! The summit is in sight, and there are a lot of people. The rain was getting stronger and I was worried, so I got a little worried. If you follow the red cloth markers, even an amateur can feel safe. But then… there was a hollow under the falling snow and I fell in. It was an easy course, but you can’t underestimate a snowy mountain. If I had gotten deeper, I wouldn’t have been able to escape. The road to Kusa-no-yu hadn’t been opened yet, and it seems like it will be a while before it opens. By this time, the rain was falling in earnest. I was scared to go alone, so I decided to follow the group I met here, but the fog made it hard to see and I lost sight of them. I was really lonely here. I found it! I managed to get back to Kagami-numa, but the scenery was completely different from before. I decided to leave quickly… However, Hachimantai is still an excellent tourist destination, and there are many people enjoying various things . I regret that I should have done more research and prepared more. Now , let’s soak in the hot spring and go home. My body is feeling nice and cold. I think I can go to Fujishichi Onsen today, which I couldn’t reach last time. It’s all white (because of the fog). The “Jukai Line” doesn’t seem to be fully open, but you can go all the way to “Fujishichi Onsen”. It takes only 3 minutes to get there from Hachimantai Rest House . It is said to have been discovered by a lumberjack named Fujishichi, and the name of the onsen is derived from this. There are six indoor and outdoor baths for men and women, as well as a mixed outdoor bath, and the open scenery is very attractive. Please purchase a bathing ticket at the shop. This is the highest natural hot spring in Tohoku, at an altitude of 1,400m. The signs are clearly displayed. It’s a popular inn and there seem to be a lot of tourists, but unfortunately today it’s not crowded due to the weather. After purchasing a bathing ticket at the front desk and using the toilet, head to the bath. If you go out of the front desk and go left, you will find a shoe locker. Take off your shoes here and head to the changing room. The spring quality is “simple sulfur spring”, PH3.7, source temperature 87 degrees. The changing room is simple and clean. There was no hair dryer. The slightly cloudy blue-gray water had a rich taste with a strong dashi flavor. After warming up in the indoor bath, we went out to the open-air bath. The open-air bath here is the best, and the sense of freedom is amazing… There were many women there wearing bathing suits. All the baths have water boiling from the feet, and bubbles come out. The top open-air bath was bubbling like a jacuzzi. I was surprised by this. It was a great hot spring where you can also enjoy the famous “mud pack”.
