Shunde Fengjian Water Village is located in Xingtan Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It is a typical representative of Lingnan water village culture. It has a long history, dating back to the Southern Song Dynasty. There are still many well-preserved ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the village. The 28-kilometer waterway connects more than 30 ancient bridges, more than 70 ancestral halls and century-old houses. There is no need to buy tickets here. It is open all day. You can choose to walk or take a black-sailed boat to play.

Fengjian Village is crisscrossed with rivers and streams. In order to facilitate travel and trade, villagers piled stones and wood to build bridges. Because there is a stone lion with a history of more than 800 years at the bridge head, this bridge is called Shishi Lane Bridge. In ancient times, villagers used shoulder poles to carry things on their shoulders to travel. Therefore, in order to facilitate travel, the bridge only has a single-side guardrail.

Built in the 11th year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty, it was built to commemorate Jinshi Liang Qiaosheng and is a landmark attraction in Fengjian.
Behind the Jinshi Archway is Fengjian Souvenirs, a street of Guangdong specialty snacks, including Jun’an steamed pork, double skin milk, special fish noodles, cold and refreshing fish skin, chicken biscuits and other specialty snacks.

Tourists can take a black-sailed boat to tour along the waterway and enjoy the ancient bridges, ancient houses and natural scenery of the water town.
The cruise is open from 8:00 to 17:00. Small boat 150 (limited to five people), large boat 250 (limited to 10 people), cruise 4 kilometers, about 35 minutes.

Built in the Southern Song Dynasty, the existing three-hole stone arch bridge in the style of the Ming Dynasty is the longest existing stone arch bridge in Shunde and is now a cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province.
