Car is in Australia [Music] now. Congratulations. Can’t Shake it like that. All right. Now, actually, I’m going to show you this interesting part of Idawashi. It’s called Kagura Zaka. It’s really nice area. See the neighbor is a res residential area and with a lot of like a coffee restaurant and also they have a lot of like a French restaurant and somehow this town is popular as being like a like a French town French like a the you can see a lot of like um I think coffee is usually like a French food in this town. This one is famous French town in Tokyo. Let me show you some of the restaurants. So Kuraka also has a deep history. It’s from Edo period. Actually it was a popular like entertainment town in Edo period with a lot of geisha houses actually. And there are a few famous temple also in this town. And there there are some narrow alleys in this area like a wooden wood wooden building and you can still see some of them actually especially in weekends. This street is very lively. I think the car cannot move in the street uh in weekend. So you can see people walking in the middle of the road. The game center here. So I’m going to check the main street first and then I will go to the the back seats. some nice pizza as well. This one is very lively now. So Kaburaka is actually I don’t know for some reason I hear it’s called like a little part of Turkey. Why? I don’t know because many French people maybe live here. Also there are some like I said French restaurant also bakeries also some French school as well and also there are some uh good wine shops as well here also there is a canal cafe there is a river little river here I will show show you later. There is a canal cafe there. You can actually ride about in that area also. The cafe is there. I’ll show you later. So, I’m going to take you to some of the back streets later. Let’s just explore the area first. There are some cool bars in the back streets in the alleys. So Kaguras is actually a perfect mix of uh like old and new like tradition and modern Japanese style. Like this one is really unique. Isakaya. Hello. And There are some other also modern restaurant this town. Also you can see some traditional Japanese sweet shops. Also there are there are also some French Japanese restaurant as well. A mixture of Japanese and French restaurant and also some nightife places as well. Oh yeah, also some gift shops. some unique beef shops in here. Let’s go and check them all out. And let’s enjoy the walk. Also, the there is a temple. I am not sure if it’s open now. I’m going to check it out. Zen Koku Zen Kokuji Temple which is a famous temple for good luck actually. So if you want to get good luck you you go to Zenoku Zenukuji Temple. I’ve been there a few times. I’m very lucky. [Music] Also in summer they have many cool festivals in here. Also the little back streets like this has a lot of bars and uh unique nightlife places. We’re going to check them out. I’m going to come back and check them out later. Let’s go just walk in the main street because we’re going to come come back from the other side and we’re going to explore deeper in the back like a street area. [Music] So unlike busy places like Shibuya or Shinjuku, Kagurak is very calm and stylish. There’s another temple here. This is a temple here as well. I not I forgot the name of this one, but the one I mentioned about good luck is somewhere. We have to go a bit higher on the high side. Another cool seafood isakaya. They have nice sushi here. And the sushi plate. Shape is like a little boat that you see there. That’s interesting. [Music] I’m going to check the chat a bit later. Let’s see the area. I will check the chat. And this one is like a a French restaurant here. Like a French Japanese restaurant. Wine. They have a bacon white wine here. Looks cool. So you know in general is a cool area in Tokyo. It’s I think one of the is very close to Tokyo station. I think it’s only a 15 like 20 minutes walk and the area is very nice and fashionable. And so in this building there seems to be a lot of like a bars and some restaurant like down. See there are million universal here. All right. Oh, hello the newcomers who is here Jason is here. Hello Jason. Hello Dr. [Music] Prrener and welcome to the membership call. Thank you for joining Carl. Welcome to explorer level two. All right. So, Now we’re going to go a bit more to the also there is a nice cafe in the at the end of this street. I’m going to show you that one is a cool cotton. And after that, we’re going to head back here and check the streets. So, actually, I have a long plan for night for today. I’m going to uh start Yeah, I started from Idawashi and then uh Kakura. Yeah, this is not Kaguraka and then from here we’re going to go to uh we’re going to actually from here go to Shinjuku but that’s very far from here. It’s a long walk. So we’re going to actually go through some other towns. So from Idawashi uh we’re going to go to Ichigaya and then Aonovashi and then we go to Ysoya and then we go to Shinjuku Sanch. to and then Shinjuku meet and then eventually we arrive at Shinjuku. So, it’s going to be a long adventure tonight. We’re going to explore a lot of stuff and uh yeah, get ready for some cool adventure, some cool cozy in this town. So on the way to Shinjuku, like I said, we’re going to explore at least four, five areas and then each area has some unique stuff. We’re going to explore them and then we continue the walk to Shinji and we end the stream in Chinjuk. Please hit the like button while you’re watching the video and don’t forget that I need your like button. Thank you. All right. Also, I’m going to check the comments as well. If some if there is some question for me, I will reply. So, the side has a lot of other like a metal cozy bars. Sergio Passini. Yeah, we’re gonna eventually after we at the end of this stream, we’re gonna reach Kabuki area. [Music] It’s interesting. This town is called I don’t know little Paris in Tokyo. But I haven’t seen any fire so far. It’s all Japanese people. I remember back then like a 200 was 2016 when I came here actually by some more foreigner in this town. I actually had a had a friend French friend. He he recommended me some cool coffee in this town. We came together a few times, but now feels different. Where was the temple? The lock. The lock temple. It feels good walking in this street for some reason it’s has a different feeling. It seems uh I don’t know the Oh, actually in the weekend they actually play a special music during the whole day. It used to be like that. I’m not sure. Now recently I haven’t been here daytime. So yeah, I don’t know. Okay, that’s the temple over there. Let’s go actually check the temple. Now it’s dark. It’s closed, but that’s like Italian one there. And this is Kakura Zakai station. on Jose line. And that’s a nice bar over there. Let’s check out the temple. Let’s get lucky. If we enter the temple, we’re going to get lucky. Even though it’s closed, it’s a nice area. It’s dark. After the temple, we’re going to go back and check the back seat of Kaka Kaguraka. And then we go to the Canel Cafe. Then we head back to Yutsuya. All right. This is the temple. It’s dark now. Uh yeah, if you come to Tokyo, it’s a nice temple to check it out. And yeah, let’s just show you there. Nice. All right. [Music] I would like to actually change the microphone stop to stereo because stereo I can hear the environment better. So it’s not focus on my voice but it’s focus on environment. I think that’s better. Let’s see. Here it goes to I think if you go from here straight it goes to Tokyo Dome area by a long walk and then let’s came in here. I’m going to actually here now. Yeah, it’s a good temple, but you better visit it in the daytime. It’s really nice. I’ve been there a few times. It’s a cool temple. You get lucky for sure if you go there. All right. And this is another bar. So, two. Nice. I think we have to go back to the main street from here. We’re going to head back to the main street. There are some nice houses in this town too, but like I said, it’s expensive to see. Can play bill art here. Pull also darts. Pull there. pool. I used to swim a lot when I was in Malaysia and Singapore every day. After I came to Japan, I tried to continue swimming, but uh there are not many pools in Tokyo. There are, but they are very crowded, especially after working hours. I wanted to go. It was really busy, so I gave up. I’m going to there is there is a cough. I’m going to show you that cough. I’m not sure if it’s open now, but it’s a nice coffin just to show you the location. I’m going to go there and then we head back to Idawashi station and then we go to Yutsuya also has a unique night life is cool and actually Yutsia is very nostalgic for me because when I came to Japan 2016 I used to go to a Japanese class only on It was a church. Actually, the class was the church. Then it was fun. There was a free Japanese class. Now, where is the coffee? Is it gone? I’m looking for the copper. It should be nice with a view. Hello parliament. We are now heading to the Oh yes, it’s here. But is it? Yeah, it’s not open here. Wow, the area has changed since last time was here. So this is another entrance to Kakuraka station from Jose line. All right, we are there. Uh it’s closed. So you have to you go up from this stairs and then that’s Akcomia Acomia Tokyo. It’s a nice cafe restaurant there and usually daytime people sit on the steps all the way down from the top and the food is good. It’s a nice coffee with a lot of seats. All these steps usually people use it for when they order food. Yeah. And this tree is cool. All right, let’s head back to There is another coffee I want to show you. That coffee is actually much cooler. That one is just uh on the river. It’s a It’s not a river. It’s a canal. And also you can ride boats as well. Small boats. The view is awesome. Okay, that’s a soccer bar over there on the top. Also, this restaurant Jonathan also is a chain restaurant, coffee restaurant. It’s reasonably cheap compared to other there are many chain restaurants chain family restaurant in Japan like Jonathan like gusto like Dennis Dennis but Dennis is American right so Jonathan among them is my favorite because the quality is high is more expensive than others but the quality is is good they have all type of food Japanese Western food. It’s like a Italian style. Can you hear my voice properly? because I changed the microphone to stereo to capture the whole environment’s sound. So maybe I should get closer to the microphone. Is this a dog coffee? Wait, is this a pet shop? I think it’s a pet shop. [Music] This is Kakura Zakadori. This is Baker. Cotic con also it’s a chain copper. So, I’m going to show you in the next next intersection. There is a some cool bars. I’m going to show you those. Buildings are colorful here. All right. Thank you very confirming the sound quality. Thank you, Dr. All right, Jason now is in Hiroshima. How is everything in Hiroshima with Alan? Are you enjoying the night life in Hiroshima? Yeah, I think because now I set the audio on stereo so you can hear the environment as well. So when I talk, I have to get closer to the mic because when I set the audio [Music] to mono, you can’t hear the environment properly. 21. That’s it. Realize you that’s a supermarket. This is a bar. It’s very quiet. Only a few customer inside each Feed is going in and out. Like I said, every side street has a lot of bars like this one. I’m going to because we are going to explore some other area on Shinjuku. So I only show you the main areas first based on my if we walk directly to Shinjuku, it takes about 1 hour. But since we have explored each area we go weeks longer. The live stream is this, I think. Maybe something is about your internet because I am also checking on the phone. Maybe it’s is anyone else also having the same issue or it’s only Jason this smooth. Let me cross this. So now the ramen here. Oh, all ramen only 1,000. Most of them 1,000. to order ramen with ga and rice. 1,00 ordered from this machine. Oh, nice pizza. [Music] Car say my stream is fine. Signal is steady for me. I think the internet I think the your internet maybe it’s not as stable in Hiroshima the fruit shop fruit is really expensive in Japan these are the local local food shop this is much cheaper than normal supermarket But see like the strawberries. Okay. The big one is 1. The smaller one is 500. Orange is 500. Fruit is expensive. Especially compared to one, two years ago, some items are like twice as much. There’s Italian restaurant there. Let’s go get closer. There is nobody what is inside a few customers. I think it looks cool. There’s another one there. Today is [Music] Thursday. Not sure. Maybe uh about Thursday should be enjoy Thursday in a lot of area in Tokyo. Can see a lot of people. Oh, this one is nice. This is actually very cool. Look at the design. So huge. Really nice restaurant. So they have like hot spot and stuff. Nobody’s there. Maybe it’s late. Oh, hello trial fanatica Marcus. How are you doing Marcus? Long time no see. Hello Bueno bar. We are in Kakura. We are not in Bueno. This temple also is nice. It’s a cool I put it now. We are very far from Shinjuku. We are on the way. We’re going to actually uh go to Shinjuku. We’re going to walk So, it’s going to be a long walk to Shinjuku. Yeah. At the end, we’re going to head to that area. Thank you, Marcus. I am good too. [Music] We are inabashi kaguraka and this bar is a wine bar. This wine bar also is says it’s closed but go inside maybe last orders. All right, let’s check this. Let’s check this guy. Let’s follow. It looks cool. some pool. This is nice. And this [Music] one I see all the finer into from there. Oh, look at this one. Sunny ball. Cool. Is this a church? And this one is a very traditional one. Nice building. Nice design. All the buckles here. This is very nice hidden like a bar like a snack bar in the back of street. [Music] I think you guys if you reduce your uh video quality setting I think it will play smoothly. If you play in 4K or full HD on phone, it doesn’t make much difference. So, it takes a lot of data as well. This is another bar. Nice display. Oh, there are many bars in this [Music] area. Italian Another cool bar here. What is feel is different here. The bars are more well designed and they’re bigger. really bigger compared to the machine before really well designed like this in Japanese. So yeah, let’s check that one. It’s a copper. It’s a bar. Not sure. It’s a hidden bar in this street. Oh, it’s a bar, but it’s like a like a Tokyo sour. Special lemon sour is unique. Look at this type of houses. It’s actually a restaurant. And there’s a garden as well. restaurant. This one also another restaurant. It’s a coffee. Yeah, it’s a coffee. Nice. It’s really relaxing compared to Shinjuku. Is a different feeling here. If you want to enjoy relaxing town, this town is recommended Kaguraka. And also they have really nice restaurants. is [Music] Italian. But when I say Italian in Japan, usually it’s not like a personal. It’s just Japanese version of Italian. They localize the food and the taste and also they have they mix it with some Japanese food. So, it’s not like a pure Italian. I like this place. It’s so cool. Lot of nice restaurant, coffee, bars. They show you this one. And there’s a nice little garden here. Let me show the garden. It’s a cool restaurant. It smells really good. Hello deotic 617. Welcome to the stream. Oh, this one also is nice. restaurant or just people’s house. I was kidding. Pretty well designed restaurants in this area. It’s awesome. It feels like actually it feels like Kyoto. It’s like a little Kyoto in Tokyo. But Tokyo is very crowded. Kyoto. This area is not crowded at all. Maybe it’s like a Kazawa because I remember went to Kanazawa. Canada also has some architecture and stuff like in Kyoto, but it’s very quiet compared to Kyoto. It’s very nice. Oh hello Devin I am actually David where are you? We are in Idawashi now and I am moving to Shinjuku but I’m walking from here. So it might take some time to reach Shinjuku. I supposed to go Shibuya area tonight but this area actually is better than Chib. Now I’m going to head to Shinjuku area and I’m not sure when I’m going to reach that because I’m in Pawashi now and it takes some times. So either way is only by train is only I think 10 10 minutes from Shinjuku. [Music] Yes, you are really nice. I can see Oh, Devin says I’m in Coen right now. Coji is west side of Tokyo. It’s like a 20 minutes from Shinjuku. What the Suddenly also I know a lot of businessmen, salary men come this town for drinking. It’s not as crazy as in Shimbashi, but a lot of people actually prefer drinking in this town because it’s more relaxing and chill here. That pisakaya has a lot of customers. Train ride is the best part of the live stream. Really, the train ride is fun only for a few minutes. Anybody doing cognac? Not sure if it’s popular in Japan. Cognac. I’m going to actually check that street. Seems some something is there. I never been to this. I’ve been to probably like a many times, but I haven’t checked this actually. Check it out. [Music] You know what she’s called? You know what she is? The whole area, this town, this city is called Kaguraka. Another restaurant here. It seems they serve a lot of wine in this street. This way it’s called I don’t know French street. And also I can see a lot of bars here. Snack bars. There’s bar cozy bar. All right. Going to be late to go to Shinjuku. So we have to move up a bit more quicker. This falls apart. Oh, how about that street? Should I check that one too? Let me check that one, too. How many toes here? So, because when people go drinking, especially businessman they take a taxi maybe they go to a different area when they drink in different area different area when they do bar hopping they don’t use trade or also it depends because is a norm from company sponsored by the company and It’s pretty nice in this one. Very Cool. I think if you go a bit further down it’s you’re going to see some uh cooler stuff. But yeah, let’s do that deep exploration another time. We’re going to go to next to the ball here. Hello Pedro. Welcome to the That bar looks cool. There’s a sushi bar there. On the top is a heavy ball. Actually, I tried that bar a few years ago. It’s actually huge. It’s really big. And open that time. Used to be like that. Not sure. Maybe now we’re going to stay longer. [Music] It’s a big bar actually. See it from there all the way. [Music] [Music] There’s a sushi over here. tomato [Music] fish also looks good. All right. This was the sura [Music] Oh, my box here. [Music] This is so easy. Really nice location. Second floor. You get a nice view of the river there. River over there. Should I take a train or should I walk? If I walk from here, I think We’re going to explore some area. I would like to explore that area because it’s a riverside. It’s nice. But now it thing is not very lively because So we are here now. Let me show you on the map. We are right here. So there’s a canal here. There’s a cafe there. I think now I don’t know it’s open or not. So and then we have to go. Now we are here. We have to walk and then go to the this is actually the cafe. I’m going to maybe I can Oh, it’s closed. So this cafe canal cafe. It’s a nice with a good view. So on the right side, you’re going to see the river. Maybe I just risk it going. Let’s see. It’s open. It’s not open. The guy is going to come to me. Oh, sorry. It’s closed now. But I’m going to anyway show you the area. So this is the view of here. It’s amazing with a river. Also that truss over there. It’s actually you can drink beer here. And the train actually goes around the area. And this is the boats. That’s the boat. You can drive about see a train view here. That’s the boat over there. Very cool standing bar. So this cafe is called cafe. Have you guys been here? I like it too much. It’s been a long time when I was here last time. I don’t know four or five years ago. Now it’s close. C. Oh, it’s closed though. Yeah. Anyway, remember this place and come back next time in front of uh Starbucks. All right, I think so. This is the way we have to go. It seems it’s not very lively to walk just now. I would admire but So either way she actually is connected with line, nonco line, Tokyo, Oen too many lines connects actually to other area in Tokyo. It’s a very expensive town. That was a video. So maybe I should use JR line. [Music] shooting there. So this road also go street. This one it goes I think all the way to took takes like 20 minutes walk from here. Hello Josh. Welcome to the live stream. There’s a church over there in front of us. They all All right, I’m going to actually take the G [Music] [Music] about this room. [Music] [Music] We are [Music] that goch. [Music] Yeah. All right, guys. We are in Yoyo area. I’m going to walk from Yoyoga to Shinjuku. Yeah, it takes about 20 minutes, 15 20 minutes to reach Shinjuk area. Yes, I am heading to Shinjuku actually. Yes, but I want to also show yogi area. So from Yogi, yeah, it takes I think yeah only 20 minutes to reach. So we have to cross the street. Y also is a nice area. There are some cool restaurant bars and stuff here. Hello camera. Welcome to the live stream. This one is the past time. So let me actually explain about Yuyogi a little. Yuy also is a famous area in Tokyo and it has some history actually. So Yogi is part of Shibuya wall actually and is yeah between Shibuya and Shinjuku and also it’s close to Harajuku. So only one station away from Harajuku. So it’s an area between Shinjuku and Harajuku. So long time ago you actually are here. It was a like a military ground for I think American soldiers just after the world war. So a lot of American troops actually lived in this area. Yoy yogi park also is a one of Tokyo’s biggest park and there are many events in Yogi Park like food festival culture food culture festivals and like what else also oh yeah Sakura and many other stuff also some cosplay And another thing that is very famous in Yuyogi area is Maji Shrine which is one of the biggest and most popular shrine in Tokyo. Maybe is the biggest one in Tokyo. [Music] Maj. So we have to go from here. We are heading to Shinjuku area. [Music] The train is coming. [Music] Right. Can pass now. [Music] Now I can see the Shinjuku’s government buildings on one. We are not really far from Shinjuku. We are getting there in a few minutes. [Music] So there are many foreigners actually live in Yoy Yogi area because this is uh central Tokyo very close to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku and also in terms of history because they like I mentioned earlier and there used to be a place for American troops after World War II. So yeah, back in the day also a lot of finer in Yoyogi and you see a lot of foreigner in Yogi area. Oh, Pedro. Yeah. Uh, the because I set the microphone to a stereo so we can hear the environment also. Usually when I want to talk more, I set the microphone on myself and the environment voice is a bit weaker. Now I set it because we want to hear the environment as well. But now I can’t when I record the video. Now I’m not recording actually. Now I’m not maybe I can’t set it on my voice now when I’m explaining. That’s a big food hall over there. It’s cool actually. It’s nice. So we are about 10 minutes from Shinjuku area. This area is between Shinjuku and Yoy Yogi. And I think it’s less crowded, much less crowded than Shinjuku. So you can see some bigger restaurants and bars in this area. Soon we going to reach Shinjuku, the crazy town. Now the voice should be should be okay because I already changed the microphone setting again. But when we reach Shinjuku area because I want to uh record a nice video there. Then I am going to change back the microphone setting again. I’ll try to get closer to the microphone so you can hear me properly. All right, we are we are a few meters away from Shinjuku. So this area so Yoy yogi like I said earlier is between uh Shibuya ward and Shinjuku ward. Two different w in Tokyo. But now we are in Shinjuku site. We already in Shinjuku. That Lumina shopping mall is already Shinjuku. Yes. But we are in a quiet part of Shinjuku now. This K restaurant is so good. They have pasta as well. All right, let’s go from which side? From this side. Maybe from Let’s go from the Nishi Shinjuku that we actually explore this area less because the Kabuki side is super lively. I’m going to head to Kabuki later, but let’s let’s actually check this area. All right, first kitchen. Pizza. [Music] [Music] [Music] All right. Now we are in a different side of Shinjuku. This area is exactly opposite side of the Kabukish area. So less touristy is more local. This area is a local side of Shinjuku. There are many actually coolizakayas in this town. This is a famous chain seafood restaurant and there are cool some cool restaurants. I’m going to show you later. This area actually has a some bigger restaurant than the Kabuko site because a lot of people go to Kabuko, not here. So this restaurant, the G restaurant is already empty. Maybe it’s closed. It’s a huge Isizakaya here. They have second floor too. The It’s a nice bar. [Music] So this allin is hatching gambling. That one is a har. A nice design. [Music] Okay. Okay. Just nice here. Sushi super ramen. So Shinjugu is the busiest and wildest place in Tokyo maybe in the whole Japan. There are some area like Osaka also is very lively but I think Shinjuk is biggest. Yeah, Shinjuku is biggest station in the world and they also is super huge and nice seafood restaurant again. camera. Hello. What is that actually? Ah, that one. YouTube. So she says, “Please come to Thank you. Thank you.” Justice. Justice. Justice. Justice. Justice. Your your name is Justice. Yeah. Really? Very interesting name. Thank you. All right. Thank you very much. Thank you. Bye-bye. That’s the That’s the isakaya third floor of this building. Yeah. She recommended that one. She invited you guys to that. [Applause] The ramen restaurant here should be delicious. People are lining up maybe. Let’s check this street as well. So, there’s a big udawashi camera here in Shinjuku. I think it’s the biggest udawashi after you. Which one? The one in Helloaya. Where is the Kyozo? Right side fourth floor. Ah, right side fourth floor. Ah, the yellow one. Oku. Ah, it’s okay. Okay. Very delicious. Okay. Very delicious. Yeah. What was the name of the isakaya? Q Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. the name of is All right, let’s actually walk in this area and then we go to the right side again. [Music] Minami Garden Italian restaurant. This one they have large pizzas over here. You can see Italian restaurant. Wow. It’s It’s big. It’s big. They have this type of food. Pizza huge. [Music] Hello, George. All right, let’s also check this area and then we go to central and then eventually we go to Kabuki area. All All right, we checked that area now. So, I think we better go to the area now. I’m going to show you the coach and then I’m going to show you cover. Hello Louise Oliver. Hello everyone. So we are going to actually let’s go from the main street. So, Tokyo has 23 wards and Shinjuku is the busiest one and maybe the live one actually, especially this area and now we are in the actually west side of Shinjuku. We are heading to Kabuko now. Kabuk is the wildest. It’s the craziest this area. The Shinjuku is under construction now. Hello. And then I think it’s been under construction for many years since the beginning because it’s super big, super busy. Every year they are changing some part of it. So and there are many big shopping malls in this in Shinjuku. Shinjuku is really big and very actually confusing. Should I walk? All right, we have to actually have to go quickly. All right, we made it. because he came to this side to show you the the view of the buildings in Shinjuku. Also from Shinjuku for 10 minutes walk from here if you go to the north side you can see north northwest side yeah I would say it’s the government buildings they have some cool projection show on the buildings every day some Godzilla show some stuff and this is some part of the buildings over there right we We’re only a few minutes away from Omoko. I think Omoko is open until 11. Some of them maybe until midnight. Let’s see. That tall tower you see in front of us, that’s actually Kabuki’s newest tower. The tallest building in Kabuki. Now the view is here and later I’m going to show you just we go in front of the building. So Shinjuku is a giant maze. So you come here if you’re not careful, you don’t check properly, you’re going to get lost. So every day about 3 million 32 million people actually use a Shinj. 3.5 million visitor every day. Just imagine how crazy it [Applause] gets. And there are too many gates. So sometimes you make appointment with some friends or someone and then you don’t know who if you come out from a different gate you end up uh getting far from your main point like 10 15 minutes sometime the Google map doesn’t work properly so you have to uh really check properly you have to maybe set your meat open in some really main area that is visible or like a cavure red gate for example or some big landmarks that everybody knows. So this is another big camera. That’s the government. No, this one is not the government. is behind this actually just to correct myself because you have to walk like 10 minutes to see the the government. [Music] Byebye. All right, construction is going on in Shinjuku station. Last year this area was open. Now it’s under construction. So we are getting closer to crazy side of Shinjuku. I’m going to show you your question in few minutes. Happy New Year. All right. So from here turn left and we’re going to enter. All right guys, welcome to the memory the memory line in Shinjuku. One of the most nostalgic and exciting food alleys in Tokyo. The name Omo in Japanese simply means memory lane because it is a nostalgic town. And when you enter inside, it actually looks like you go back in time. You travel back in time. As you see, there are about uh 70 80 isakaya coy is in little area. Hello YouTube. Hello. Hello. Oh, where you from? Uh, it’s Japan Explorer YouTube channel. J Japan Explores. Yes, YouTube channel. I’ll subscribe. All right. Thank you. Thank you. Have fun. And all right, let’s let’s get it. So we’re going to see some cool narrow pizzak like this. I think only five to 10 people can enter. And the special thing is very cozy. When you sit beside each other, you naturally get engaging conversation with others because it’s very narrow and the drink is good. You can get beer. They have yaki, yakiu and other stuff. The city is open. I think it’s open until midnight. And there are many foreigners here. [Music] This one is probably closed. This building is closed. There are some cool restaurant. You see as you see maybe seven, eight people, some of even less less people can fit inside. There are some shortcuts here and there to get out from here. So from here you can actually get out there. This is another side of It’s a very cool solid. Let’s go back in. [Music] It smells really good here. Hello, Austin. Welcome to the stream. That one is a [Music] [Laughter] [Music] ball. It’s a cool border. What’s this? It’s very cool. I like it here. So has ramen grilled fish and [Music] shrimp. Main gate of yach just in front of us area. This is also this is another alley of all right let’s head to We’re going to see the red gate of Kabukito in a few minutes. All right. Actually, I have to connect the battery to the encoder in a few minutes. So that’s Kabuk area. That’s the gate over there. We’re going to head to that area now. [Music] Yeah. Okay. [Music] All right, I have to actually connect the P. Just one minute. [Music] [Music] Connecting the battery now. [Music] [Music] Oh, maybe we have to cross the street then. It’s crowd that we can cross. I’m going to show you actually this area first before we cross the street. What is it? All [Music] right, let’s enter Tokyo’s adult Disneyland. Tokyo is sleep back on that point. [Music] Okay. Okay. [Music] Yeah. Excuse me. So we are in front of Tohjo cinema and Godzilla. Godzilla head is on top this way. This route is called Godzilla round. That’s Godzilla’s head. So we are doing tour guide in Tokyo. We have a Shinjuku bar hopping tour. We always meet with the participant in this area and we take them to three different bars. So if you guys are new, check out our tours at smileywalk.shop. show you unique places in this town on the tour. [Music] So last week Tom Cruz was to kick off the mission Mission Impossible. That’s there on the full cinema. [Music] Now there are many type of night life places in Kabich’s mystery town. It’s really cool, really fun. Also, you have to be careful with the complicated uh charge system in a lot of places. Please hit the like button while watching the video. Yeah, let me actually smiley rock. I put the link in the comment section. Now, Look out. [Music] It’s going to be Any use for that? I don’t know. [Music] [Music] What’s up? [Music] All right. Now we are in the main area of Koko. The main street golden Ichig not the main one of the main street. It’s very popular this street because of the red gates. You like it? Oh, speech speech. [Music] So, Kabuk has a lot of nightife places from normal restaurant to Isak. Sakayas, normal bars, touching me, sand bars, shot bars, and then more different type of bars like a gear bar, host club, host and it goes all the way deeper to also like fun, so plant massage and all things you can find in Kabuku, but it’s hidden. It’s not very obvious, but also it’s a bit mysterious and complicated. The price is really confusing. So, also the language barrier. So, if you come this town, you have to be careful. Hello, Stefan. How are you doing? So this street if you go all the way to north you can reach Korean town Shinuku but we are actually exploring Kaku night and we’re going to see this area. But maybe half an hour and then we’re going to end the video. Kichu is lively all the time. He’s lively. He’s serious. If you’re if you are careful, you can have fun and enjoy the town. If you’re not careful, you can end up some bad experience because the like I said the charge system is complicated. So if you enter some hostess bar or gears bar gong you might get overcharged. So you have to check properly and if you are in Tokyo for the first time you can join your tours actually and we will guide you then you can experience the town safely. Don’t look You wait. Let’s go and check out Kobich. [Music] wombat parliament. Thank you very much for recommending the gears bar. Yeah, we are doing actually gears bar hopping tour uh once a month usually but if you have additional request you can do it like twice a month. So next week we have that one. Actually if you are in Tokyo next week uh next Wednesday we are doing a gears bar hopping in Oeno area. We explore three different girls bar and you can explore the gears bar with us safe and since they don’t speak English we can actually translate for you guys and you can enjoy the only in Japan gears bar experience. Yeah, Paul and Stephan actually joined that tour. And next week also we have six participants. We can take more. And yeah, that one is actually once a month. We have a regular the Shinjuku bar hopping tour. We have every week. Gears bar hopping once a month. Hakusa history tour. It’s every Friday. And we have Akiara made coffee hopping tour as well. That one also is like once a month. Kaboko, the biggest entertainment town in Japan. There are some other big red light area in Japan, but this one is the biggest one. And it’s like a game actually. Also the historically if you check the history of this town the mayor of town like uh 60 70 years ago when he wanted to make this town actually he he wanted to make a kabuki theater. Kabuki is a Japanese traditional shop and then he for some reason he wasn’t able to make the town the Kabuki here but he still named the town Kabuki Cho means Kabuk Kabuki Tomy’s town this Kabuki town but there is no Kabuki in this town but if if you consider like a Kabuki as a entertainment thing it’s a big kabuki adult Kabuki Oh, it’s a big red light area. And this when you walk in this town, it’s like a a game really. It’s mysterious. You want to go explore and stuff. Also, the design of the roads are like L shape. It’s like a labyrinth. You don’t see in front of you much. So, you subconsciously makes you excited. You want to turn left and right to discover what’s in every corner. And what’s in every corner also not only every corner there are as you see there are too many tall buildings and there are too many stuff inside each building too many nightife places in serious. So this way is very exciting and even if you don’t really go inside anything it’s really fun walking in this area. You can just enjoy some isakaya, some bars and there is a nostalgic uh bar hopping town Shinjuku Golden Way which is the town was made after World War II. That town also is really cool for you. We do that one on Shinjuku bar hopping tour. So you can check them out. smiley walk. Also uh because there are many nightlife area here also you need the hotels after drinking and stuff. Love hotel. Love hotel is also is a big thing in Japan. The biggest love hotel area is in Shinjuku just on the left side of us between Fabuku and Shinuku. There are about few hundred long hotels. You can stay as short as two hours or as long as one night, but you can’t book. You can just go in and enter the place. Sometimes it’s just you don’t even see any person. You just pay with the machine and go inside or you pay at your room with your credit card. So for privacy, you don’t really see any reception or anyone. And there are many host clothes as well, which cool men handsome guys serve girls. A lot of Japanese girls. They mostly those that they have social issue. They go there because they are served by cool guys and they feel good and they become regular. All right. Carl Mat. Okay. And this town is very actually lively until morning. Not as lively as it now, but until 1 p.m. 1:00 a.m. is lively like this. And then until morning, still a lot of people in the street, the bars, the girls, inside the buildings. So this way is called Sleepless Town. in Japanese. Poy dress is name of the movie his Japanese movie on Netflix which was about the mafia uh conflict and uh like a fighting that happened in this town back in I think uh 35 years ago. So the movie is about that mafia fight which is foreigner mafia not mafia. [Music] So I think we don’t have much time to explore Golden Bay, the bar hopping area. That’s a cool area. About 220 bar and a little square shaped area. It’s very cool that town. It’s very artistic. Nice design of for each bar. Maybe I do another video, specific video for that one. All right guys, if you are having fun with this video, please hit the like button. Also, let me know in the comment if you have any question. So, Golden Guy is just on the left. I’m going to show you the details of in a few minutes. [Music] Also, one more point that I have to uh mention is that in Kabuko uh the used to be really dangerous like up until 10 years ago, maybe 15 years ago, but now is very safe in terms of you know there’s no no not much crime compared to the past since 10 years ago I think the town is under that’s the golden guy the gate I mentioned earlier the bar hopping area yeah now is generally safe the only thing is you have to be careful when you go inside places nobody Nobody is there to help you with your wallet. You might get overcharged taxes and they have a really complic complicated system for charging especially for a foreigner. Even Japanese people, a lot of Japanese people don’t feel safe in this town and they never come here. But as a foreigner, you have language barrier, then it’s more it’s more more tricky. So you have to be careful. [Laughter] All right, let’s go from here. By the way, this is a Shinjuku’s board office. Shinjuku board office. This building on the right side. Yeah, they have to get rid of the those guys, but they are working for some establishment. They are getting paid. Don’t follow anyone who wants to show you a place in Kabukishu and you will save yourself a lot of money. Yeah, those people that they actually keep pushing you, you should never follow them. When someone pushes you hard, you should never follow them. That’s the only way. Like those guys. But if you find a place, if you get recommended a place, if you research it online and if you find it cool and say you can go, but you see some people are pushing you to go somewhere with them, don’t go. I would I won’t say all of them. There are some also there are some guys actually who working respectfully for some establishment. They also do the same thing outside. But you can’t trust anyway unless you want to risk it and you don’t and you don’t mind paying some money for experience. So yeah, so I didn’t if I didn’t have the camera with me, I would be approached by a lot of these people now. And by the way, this type of information shops, they provide you information about the the red light places, not only the uh like sex places also Garc. They recommend you a lot of places, the information one. So they are really old shops since Ed since 400 years ago. They used to be called chaya or tea shop. They are not actually tea shop or they don’t serve anything. They serve you information about the nightife area. Yep. All right. I think we don’t have much time to explore deeper. One night I’m gonna actually make a video from midnight to morning because a lot of things happens after midnight. So I’m going to do a unique video and with high quality audio video. I use my uh better the best lens and camera setup. I want to do a video from midnight to morning soon. Yeah, this type of place as you see they will provide you information about the night life area for free. What they get? Of course they get money some percentage from the main establishments that they recommend. So the girls that are ascending with the sign, they are holding the sign, the system of the menu of the bar and they’re waiting for customers to to uh but they’re waiting for customer in general. [Music] So that hotel actually is a nice place. It’s just in the center of Kabuku. So if you guys come this town, that hotel is a cool area. I don’t know how much. Maybe it’s expensive that one. We are actually in front of Golden Gay sign what I love. All right. H something smells really good. That I think is the that that car sells some sweet smells really good. And right. All right, Rey. See you. Thank you for joining. Don’t leave without hitting the like [Music] button. Oh. Oh, that hotel is expensive. Yeah, up is okay. Yeah, uppa is it’s I think a reasonable price hotel. I think the big the biggest actually chain hotel in Tokyo is a hotel. They have it everywhere, every corner hotel. So, this is the main catch area. The girls are holding the sign here mostly for [Music] girls. I think we have to now go to the station. We have to head back to the station now. [Music] She’s sweet. What happened? What is the world? [Music] It’s going main. [Music] I believe we have a good Now it’s almost midnight in Shinjuku Kabucha. Another view of area this side. What was this? Okay. Here are some photos of old cover. These photos are like from 60 years ago. This is the golden guy. The main gate of go is this one. Actually, this is the red gate that we just passed. Yes. Uh 1972 1972 Golden G. Yeah, it’s cool to see the all the photos and compare the streets. All right, we are heading to Odor line. We have to catch the bus train area over there goes to area where you can see the government buildings. [Music] All right, we are at the station. I’m going to finish the stream in a few minutes. [Music] They only seem to allow one homeless person tunnel. like a a place a lot of homeless people at least like 20 of them that lived in that area but government is trying to get rid of them so I don’t know where they go and how they control has says I think there are there are some female YouTuber who did a few video about homeless people in Japan. Yeah, I’ve seen some of those videos. Maybe I should do one with you, too. All right, guys. We are heading to the platform now, and I’m going to finish the stream before I get into the train.
