【春の富山旅行】旬の海鮮も立山連峰の絶景もホタルイカとの触れ合いも。8時間滞在の日帰り旅行で全部叶えます。
Hi I’m mamirock. This is a day trip to Toyama. It takes only 2 hours and 17 minutes from Tokyo Station to Toyama by Shinkansen. As soon as we get to Toyama Station, we have lunch at a nearby store. The popular revolving sushi restaurant “Sushi-tama” will pass. The destination is here (there was also a line here!) One of the purposes of this trip is firefly squid in season. There are many other specialties in Toyama. The mug with the name of the shop is cute! I just saw a crab, so I ordered it. I’m grateful that someone peeled the crab. Our excitement went up. This crab doesn’t need scallions to get rid of the smell. Here’s the main firefly squid sashimi. Maybe it’s my first time eating firefly squid raw. Fresh firefly squid has a beautiful taste and sweetness, so it’s great. This is also a white shrimp, a specialty of Toyama. The best time to visit Toyama is in spring, when you can enjoy both white shrimp and firefly squid. It is a small shrimp peeled by human hands one by one. Even if it’s small, it’s sweet and good. Both the finest fish and the soup used in the soup stock are the best. I’m lucky to have nine prices! We are going to take a train from Toyama Station. The doors of trains in northern countries are opened by pressing a button. It says “Firefly Squid Town”… There is nothing in front of the station. First of all, we walk toward the sea. The name of this road is Firefly Squid Street. You will realize how wonderful it is on your way home. We reached our destination in five minutes on foot. I thought it was an exhibition panel, but it was a restaurant menu. There was something interesting downstairs. You can touch the firefly squid. I’m afraid I’m going to crush it. Firefly squid is fast and the water is cold. My friend was bitten by a firefly squid (bite him!). There is also a firefly squid light-emitting show during the firefly squid season, so you can have a valuable experience. The restaurant in the museum has a beautiful sea view like a southern island. We went to a cafe looking for sweets. Udon noodles with Nishiki anago pattern? It’s the first time in the world. There are also many foods made from firefly squid. Dried firefly squid is good snacks. I didn’t stab a firefly squid. It’s a visual that has an impact. How about the combination with soft ice cream? Soft ice cream and firefly squid powder exist separately. It’s out of focus at all. It’s a taste that crustaceans like. On my way back, I will go back by the sea from the bridge on the second floor of the museum. Behind Firefly Squid Street is the Tateyama mountain range, which has a wonderful view. You can enter the rooftop of the museum even on closed Wednesdays. Playground equipment conceived from Onotomape. Adults can also enjoy playing.
(If you don’t care about others) It’s luxurious because it’s Tateyama mountain range ahead of my eyes. The park is large and beautiful under your eyes. The park was also set in the manga “Don’t Call It Mystery”. Let’s take a walk in the park. Let’s head for the bridge. The scenery from the bridge is beautiful. On the left is what many call the world’s most beautiful Starbucks. It’s easy to see why The New York Times picked Toyama as a must-visit destination for 2025. It’s good to know that Toyama is such a beautiful city. The cherry blossom season in April must be even prettier. The luxury of having a relaxing talk in the park where you are traveling. I’m getting hungry now. It’s a popular izakaya, but we got in because we came right after it opened. There are many local sake from Toyama here. There are also many Toyama specialty menus. There are many kinds of alcohol, so it’s fun. It’s a cozy and nice izakaya. These sashimi have a great deal of value. Every sashimi is really good. This is a deep-sea fish called Genge from Toyama. I thought deep-sea fish wasn’t good, but it was good. Firefly squid was great even for tempura. The shellfish is also from Toyama. I only tasted Japanese sake because it remained the next day. Toyama’s precious Japanese sake “Kachikoma” was surprisingly delicious. Next is grilled squid. It’s fresh and delicious. I also had dessert. It is a sweet with ice cream and sweet bean paste. My friend’s pudding was also delicious. From the first dish to the last, everything was satisfying. We’re going to shop at Toyama’s specialty store that features local products. This ramen was delicious. Toyama is famous for medicine. Keroline originated in Toyama and has a 100-year history. Cute medicines with retro packaging. Hato barley tea is also a specialty of Toyama. This is a snack with honey inside. This is a product where karintō, a traditional Japanese sweet, is turned into a manju. The outside was crispy and it tasted great. What a delicious trip it was. I definitely want to come to Toyama again. Where should I go next?
