【秩父 札所15番 少林寺】 牡丹満開 大正ロマン感じる少林寺

秩父鉄道 お花畑駅から番場通りを秩父神社へ歩いて向かっていくと右手に少林寺の看板があり立ち寄ってみました。大きな牡丹の花が境内一面に咲いていて大正ロマンを感じる素敵な空間でした。お寺から秩父鉄道を走る電車も眺めることができます。秩父鉄道 SLも土日祝日を中心に運行しています。

Peonies in full bloom, Shorinji Temple exudes a Taisho era romanticism
As I walked from Chichibu Railway Ohanabatake Station along Banba Street towards Chichibu Shrine, I saw a sign for Shorinji Temple on my right and decided to stop by. Large peony flowers were blooming all over the temple grounds, creating a wonderful space that evoked the romanticism of the Taisho period. From the temple, you can also see trains running on the Chichibu Railway. The Chichibu Railway SL also operates mainly on weekends and holidays.
