Explore Amanohashidate | One of Japan’s Three Great Views #japan #travel #japanesetouristattraction
[Music] Welcome to Amano Hashidate, one of Japan’s most breathtaking natural wonders located in Kyoto Prefecture. Amano Hashidate is a 3.6 km long sandbar stretching across the Miyazu Bay. Covered with over 5,000 lush pine trees, it has long been celebrated as one of Japan’s three great views alongside Iskushima Shrine in Hiroshima and Matsushima Bay in Miyagi. For the best panoramic views, head to Amanohashidate Viewlet, a scenic, family-friendly theme park on the southern side of the sandbar. Ride the Monroe up the hillside, then descend by a chairlift for a breathtaking aerial perspective. Getting to Amano Hashidate from Kyoto station is easy. The fastest option is the Hashidat Limited Express, which takes about 2 hours and costs 5,200 yen one way. This journey is fully covered by the JR pass, making it a great option for passholders. Alternatively, local trains are available at a lower cost, but take longer and are not covered by the JR pass. All in all, Aman Hashidate is a great day trip from Kyoto.
