this one is titled Run Away as fast as you can 
first words come to mind is horrible horrible   horrible the restaurant food is disgusting 
there is no heaters to keep the food hot i   am super disgusted with the room bugs flying 
all around i am beyond itchy and ready to go i   can’t even sleep nice this one says “Don’t 
waste your money bad location one of the   worst beaches next to the marina with oil 
leaking from boats you are not able to swim   worst all-inclusive I ever had the food 
besides that the variety is minimal the   quality is extremely bad you can see that they 
recycle old food from several days in service   again the bugs there’s a lot of cockroaches in 
the evening her worst nightmare they steal from   the room we were just about to spend $120 for 
one night in the cheapest all-inclusive resort   we could find in Cancun after reading the reviews 
we were definitely a little worried but we figured   why not give it a shot i mean if people keep 
booking this place how bad can it really be   well without spoiling too much let’s just say 
it turned out to be worse than what we expected   everyone has different standards of course but 
what you’re about to watch is exactly why we’ll   never book a super cheap all-inclusive again 
we’re approaching the hotel the one good thing   about it so far is that it is actually located 
right on the beach strip but it’s located on the   beach side of the the road yeah some of the 
hotels are located on the lagoon side of the   road so this one in terms of location not too bad 
it’s actually at the beginning of the hotel zone   coming from Cancun town to the hotel zone in an 
Uber to get from the town down to this hotel it   only took us I don’t know 8 to 10 minutes 10 
minutes at the most hotel Imperial Las yes let the hunger games begin [Music] 3 3 1 oh okay this is us okay [Music] hey so 
we just got into our room okay starting off   at the front well they have magnetic keys which 
is a big thing well honestly the rooms look and   feel very outdated very outdated they’re in a 
very bad conditions and there’s no smell though   i’m not getting a smell yeah that’s that’s 
actually true there’s no humidity no obvious   smell should we do a little house tour okay so 
Albano well should we start with the bathroom   first yeah let’s start with the bathroom that’s 
probably going to be the worst of it okay well   oh there’s definitely a smell in here okay so 
yeah the bathroom very very dated look at these   mirrors very old all this lime scale yeah gosh 
okay okay we’ve got a TV just a big thing we   have two beds mirror this live in separate beds 
yeah we got two beds nice decoration yeah we’re   definitely going to be inspecting for bed bugs 
because that’s something that we did read if   there’s one thing that I’m not willing to accept 
is the bed bugs and the cockroaches i think I can   manage everything else but big bed bugs and 
cockroaches no so that’s that’s definitely   something we’re going to be looking at we did 
ask the very unfriendly lady at the front desk   if we could have a a room with a view and this 
is what she gave us hold on let me open up here yeah so I mean we’ve got a slight view over 
there of the ocean yeah that’s not bad it’s   not bad but our direct view is that and behind we 
have the the Yeah man this this place is I mean   it’s the most basic room the lowest rate that 
we have so I don’t think you can get something   better out of this rate and actually she was 
offering us a room upgrade for for $50 per night   $50 more per night $50 more per night just to 
be closer to the ocean and with your own like   plunge pool kind of thing I don’t think it’s 
worth it no definitely not look how dirty these   curtains are my goodness oh my gosh cracked 
ceiling look at these these these cupboards oh I see mold over there lot of mold 
build up right over there mold all   up there very rusted stuff yeah yeah 
wow okay okay housekeeping inspector   people’s hair there’s literally someone’s 
hair here which makes me think that these   sheets have not been changed could be 
the housekeeper okay i don’t know i’m   looking for bed bugs if there’s bed 
bugs not a chance are we staying here the mattress look quite new for my look i 
don’t see any signs of bed bugs which is a good thing yeah the bed’s all right all right so 
we’re all dressed and ready for the beach but   we did read more than one review talking about 
the um the theft problem in this hotel where um   the cleaning staff seem to seem to take things 
from the room and then it’s just gone forever   so we are being very meticulous with making 
sure that everything is locked up and we’re   taking like our valuables with us like all of 
our cameras and our computers and it’s really   not ideal you know you would want basic security 
when you check into a hotel but it seems like   that’s not the case here so we’re doing that 
um and then another thing to keep in mind is   there are no elevators in this hotel so if you’re 
coming with a big massive bag and you’re on the   top floor I think we are on the fourth floor 
third on the third floor but yeah you saw us   going up the steps so there’s no elevator we’re 
going to go down to the pool we’re going to see   what the pool area is like we’re going to go see 
what the lunch options are like and continue to   share our honest review with you and continue 
sharing our honest review with you who am I   the only thing that the room does have going for 
it is that there’s so much room for activities   it’s making my head spin how many activities we 
can do okay so the main road is over there that   is what we’re seeing from our balcony and I would 
imagine that is our room the third one the third   one the one right at the top yeah i think I mean 
they were already um scoring really bad on service   and facilities so I think the only redeeming 
thing could possibly be on the beach and the food oh it’s very quiet oh look there’s no one 
here right now nice nice and quiet okay so   this is the pool area the pool is quite 
small and I mean there’s not that many   uh chairs so I would imagine if you don’t get 
here on time honestly we live in a gated complex   in Plya and the pool is not that bigger than a 
pool that we have at home honestly I mean for a   all-inclusive hotel I don’t know considering how 
many rooms we’re seeing I just don’t feel like   when it’s fully booked there’s nearly enough 
space around the pool okay going to the beach okay so this is the beach i think this is 
another hotel right okay so the reviews   were right this is not even um a beach 
beach a swimmable beach actually Cancun   Sailing is the is right in front 
of you here and yeah it’s just a marina i think this is their entire 
lunch buffet it looks pretty pretty   scarce and not very hygienic so 
sorry to be so negative but I mean   yeah I think I don’t think there’s 
anything here that I want to eat [Music] that spread that we just saw is their 
lunch just burgers burgers fries some   hot dogs hot dogs chips salad that’s That’s 
it that’s all they’ve got available for lunch i tried the the French fries and they are 
definitely obvious they’re definitely not   fresh so I thought I’d take my chances and 
ask the guy if um they have fresh Sorry you   have some French fries in your house if they 
have fresh French fries and he said “No.” Uh   yeah they can get more but they’re the same as 
us and I was like “No but these are definitely   yesterday’s right?” And he was like “Okay I’ll 
ask them to prepare some for you.” So he said   he’s going to bring us some fresh fries which for 
a hotel to be serving yesterday’s food and he he   didn’t deny that was he didn’t deny it was from 
yesterday they are um but they’re definitely not   made today which is very bad they’re paying all 
inclusive to get food but honestly that food does   not even look edible and I tried the French fries 
the French fries definitely yesterday gracias cheers cheers actually the only things that we 
were eatable out of the muffet were the fries   after Simon complained about them to be stale and 
from yesterday we took some nachos and a sausage   what else and cheese sauce and cheese sauce i 
mean the nachos was in the in the cheese sauce but   the cheese was very watered down like it’s very 
noticeable honestly i don’t know i think this is a [Music] ripoff oh no [Music] [Music] [Music] want to go there [Music] it’s not bad [Music] [Music] [Music]   another so you can see what we mean 
there’s barely any seating available   for the guests there’s just two two 
and about 10 over there and that’s it see oh look at I think we are done for the day here at the beach 
yes we’re going to go watch an episode of Ghosts   in our room and then we’d like to aim to be 
down here at 7:00 p.m on the dot when um the   dinner is first served so we will hopefully get 
freshly served dinner they say that there’s theme   nights apparently tonight is the Italian night 
so yeah I’m expecting spaghetti bolognese and a   bread roll that’s at least what my expectations 
are if there’s anything more than that I would   be surprised maybe maybe lasagna i don’t know 
because they can s give us so many surprises right you want some pasta there no I’m fine i think 
I might just have one chicken leg from there   one chicken leg one chicken leg yeah pork 
chop um no I’m fine i’ll have a piece of   fish though what do you want a piece of fish 
just a little one this one yeah that’s fine   that’s fine how much that’s uh Yeah that’s 
probably fine yeah i’ll I’ll do some capres   capri yeah i think this is what this is you 
want some of this no h little yeah like that okay cool [Music] you like this one eh okay so we haven’t 
tasted anything yet but at least there’s   somewhat of a variety yeah better than lunch 
yes definitely we’ve got cap salad looks like   a pesto pasta a fish fish and tomato sauce 
chicken and tomato sauce mashed potatoes i   think I got almost the same as Simone 
but I got also pork chop and some sort   of pasta too yeah 7 out of 10 i was expecting 
them to have like five five trays available   a ros leche this is a ros con leche which is a 
typical Mexican dessert which is the only dessert   available it is the only dessert available on 
the buffet the food is okay like not fabulous   and honestly I don’t really have much faith in 
the the meats so I I took one bite of the fish   and it felt like it wasn’t cooked through so yeah 
I’m just eating a whole big plate of carbs just   just to be safe yes and my pork chop was actually 
very very hard to to chew so I didn’t even like   was even was even hard to to cut i I didn’t even 
eat it the pasta was is very good the blocks of   cheese oh yeah but at least at least there’s more 
options for for dinner time than there were for   the lunch time yeah so we finished literally 
sat down and finished dinner in like less than   15 minutes and now there’s nothing to do on 
property other than swim but it’s actually a   lot chillier than you would expect yeah i think 
was a cold front from this week i don’t know   yeah I’m I’m wearing long jeans and sneakers 
right now and I feel really chilly so I have   no desire to go where to go into the pool but 
we’re going to go to the cinema because we’ve   still got time and it’s just a quick 20-minute 
walk down the down the street which is awesome   considering the location of this hotel you can 
get to Puerto Cancun which you we’re going to show   you now we’ve actually never been there before 
but we’ve seen it we’ve seen it and some of our   friends and have gone there yes our friends have 
gone there and it looks really beautiful so yeah   at least if you’re bored on this resort there’s 
there is something within walking distance oh yes we walked about 20 minutes down the road where 
we were passed by lots of people enjoying their   nighttime runs [Music] we had been dying to visit 
Puerto Cancun because we had heard that it is the   most luxurious mall in this region of Mexico and 
as you can see it definitely met our expectations [Music] a so cute cancun my love [Music]   we had planned on seeing a movie but the 
schedule didn’t work out so we went to   the arcade instead where Javanni got to 
show off his fabulous dance moves [Music] do you mind here no definitely yeah thank you 
madam yeah I think I’m fine   it’s fine it’s fine i can bleach the beans now no breakfast was more promising than Yeah 
the lunch I think was You want some   and if we need something else I’ll 
come back honestly okay cool yeah or maybe the breakfast 
definitely looks more promising [Music] at least he has a bit of a better 
selection for breakfast there’s like quite   a few things to choose from now looks all right 
i’m still a bit suspicious with eating any of   like the meat stuff javani is definitely a lot 
more brave than me something also to keep in mind   is if you guys think that we’ve been a little 
bit harsh on the hotel we might have but also   Javanni and I both have um bachelor’s degrees in 
hospitality management and we’ve only ever worked   in very beautiful hotels so our standards just 
by nature are very high but I think we’ve given a   fair review on this place we’re going to give you 
a whole review when we get back but uh I think our   standards are probably just a little bit higher 
than the average person because of our background   so we’re just going to give our honest review 
on how this place was i’m sure you guys have   gathered already that we were not impressed not 
even remotely but we’re just going to go through   each category so starting off with the food 
quality it was shocking i don’t think I’ve ever   eaten such bad food in an establishment before 
i think the thing that really got me is when we   arrived yesterday um the lunch buffet oh my gosh 
those fries were definitely from yesterday they   were so stale they were so stale that cheese 
sauce was 70% water the meat we didn’t even   pick up the meat i took one sausage and it was 
But the they were patties and they looked like   they had sitting there for hours and hours the 
the quality of the food and the variety was very   bad considering I mean that’s why you come to 
an all- inclusive so you don’t have to go eat   out but we were just eating because we had paid 
but honestly if if given the choice we wouldn’t   have eaten the food it was it was not good at all 
that was a one out of 10 one out of 10 yeah so I   think the biggest scam of all with this hotel 
is the beach 99% of people that are coming to   Cancun are coming for the beaches coming for the 
beautiful waters and this hotel is advertised as   though it’s got a beach but that is false they 
do not have a beach it is literally a marina   and you guys saw like you no one was we’ve not 
seen anyone swim because the water is black the   seaweed is black you’re in a marina and it’s 
actually a private marina for one of the big   tour companies so you’ve got people hordes and 
hordes of people walking through the beach all   day every hour every hour yeah and in terms of 
the beach facilities there’s like what 15 beach   chairs tops and that’s it something that you need 
to know about Cancun beaches is where your hotel   or accommodation is situated this area where 
we’re going to show it on the screen there are   no nice beaches no after the the lighthouse the 
lighthouse that that is where you’re going to be   getting the beautiful beaches that everyone wants 
to see in Cancun so not even just this hotel but   any of these hotels that are along this strip 
we’d say avoid at all costs because there was   more marina down the shoreline so okay room 
noise isolation and bed room it’s It’s a very   spacious room but it doesn’t make you know for 
how bad it is yeah the room is so bad it looks   like it hasn’t been properly properly cleaned or 
updated in at least 20 years it is so bad you saw   there’s mold in the in the closet the curtains 
haven’t been washed in years the bathroom has got   a smell the ceiling has cracks the bathroom has 
cracks besides the room being pretty disgusting   if we’re not going to hold back here there’s 
absolutely no noise isolation i was awake for   like 3 hours last night yeah that that router box 
so noisy was so noisy and we are located well this   room face the main road of the of the property 
all throughout the night there were cars passing   by i mean and then aside from that obviously no 
one wants to hear this but I literally just heard   bedboards banging against the wall literally 
all night long i heard people walking up and   down the steps drunk screaming and shouting so I 
mean we didn’t sleep last night and you wouldn’t   sleep because there is no noise isolation so that 
sucks that’s something that really upset me but anyways in terms of facilities when you stay at 
like a normal all-inclusive something that’s not   like a bottom bottom of the range typically they 
have multiple restaurants they might even have   one or two pools they might even have like an 
entertainment room with games they might even   have a like a mini theater a lot of all-inclusives 
literally are all inclusive in the in the sense   that you’re getting your food and you’re getting 
your entertainment here they there is literally   nothing there is no beach as we mentioned there’s 
the pool and there’s that tiny little restaurant   that we’ve eaten in every time but other than 
that that’s why we left the property last night   to go to Ba Cancun because there’s nothing to do 
here yeah and the facilities like we mentioned are   very dated very ugly very dirty yeah our overall 
review of this hotel is that we ultimately feel   very much ripped off i mean $120 is not a fortune 
but we could have taken that $120 and stayed at   a nice new hotel that is not all-inclusive 
and then we probably maybe for an extra 20 or   $30 in total gone out and and found food that we 
actually wanted to eat and and that we actually   enjoyed it’s not like this hotel had anything to 
offer us it was just dirty and unpleasant and we   literally only ate the food because we had paid 
for it but overall we just feel very much ripped   off we would not We were ripped off we were 
ripped actually about 4 years ago we stayed   in another all-inclusive here and that was about 
double the price of this one also it’s like bottom   of the range but not like not as bad as this one 
and at the time we thought that one was like Yeah   but now in comparison we’re like “Okay that one 
at least had multiple dining options they had a   really nice big pool.” Yeah other things that they 
were offering that it wasn’t too bad it was worth   it to pay for it at the end yeah but ultimately 
if you’re looking at booking an all-inclusive   here in Cancun honestly don’t waste your money 
on these very cheap places you’re going to be so   disappointed rather take that money and stay in 
a hotel that is not all-inclusive maybe even one   in the town in Cancun Town which we’re headed 
to for our Cancun guide so you guys can check   that out to see what it’s like and spend your 
money on food that you’re actually going to enjoy   if you’re looking to stay in an all-inclusive 
honestly don’t look for anything there less than   $300 to $400 a night it’s only worth it after 
that price point so we’re actually about to   check out right now and then we’ve got another
