くら寿司関西万博店!世界最大規模のくら寿司で70 カ国限定グルメを体験

Hello, this is ITSUKA JAPAN. We’ve come to the buzz‑worthy “Kura Sushi Osaka Expo Store,” trending all over social media! Wow—there’s already a huge line in front of the shop! The queue is for numbered tickets—this place is super popular. If you’re in a hurry, don’t worry—there are take‑out sets available. After waiting for about 1 hour— Our number was finally called. Quite the battle! At reception you choose party size and seat type (table or counter) on a tablet. Entry times are first‑come, first‑served—speed wins. Our slot was set for 12:50–13:00! About 2 hours later it’s finally time to go in! Whoa! The interior looks absolutely awesome! The waiting room is lined with sample sushi—so exciting! A gigantic sushi‑plate sculpture hangs from the ceiling—such impact! You can check your number on the monitors. This Expo branch boasts a whopping 338 seats—the largest of any store! The conveyor belt stretches roughly 135 metres—record length! And of course the much‑awaited Expo‑only menu is here! I can’t wait to see what kind of dishes will appear. Special items you never see normally keep gliding by one after another. The lane is built on two levels, and the upper tier whisks your orders to you at high speed. Classic services like hot tea and Bikkura‑Pon! lucky draws are alive and well. Here come the Expo‑exclusive delicacies. Every single dish is a flat 320 yen! Almost everything is brand‑new to me! There’s also a corner selling regional specialties from around Japan. The ordering tablet supports English, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified/Traditional). You can even order straight from your smartphone. A fresh dining experience that fits the Expo theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” We can’t finish everything, so we’ll see how far we can get. Besides the regular menu you can also buy Expo merchandise. I noticed a mysterious hatch in the table—opening it revealed soy sauce and chopsticks neatly stored. Like a little treasure box—clever space‑saving! When it comes to sushi you’ve got to have green tea. It’s powdered so it dissolves instantly—handy and free! It’s the small touches like this that make you grateful. Oh! Our first orders have arrived! Another one already! I ordered it myself, but…what is this again? You can grab plates straight off the lane as well as from the tablet. Each dish is protected by an antibacterial cover—reassuring. “Mystery” items keep showing up. Looks like I accidentally ordered two of the same dish. Let’s start with these. [San Marino] Piadina [United Arab Emirates] Pappa Roti [Angola] Chicken Muamba [Peru] Ceviche [Philippines] Chicken Adobo [Chile] Erizos [Qatar] Luqaimat [Palau] Halo [Italy] Tagliata First up: [Togo] Ajideji. A chicken dish tossed in peanut sauce. Tender meat with a gentle nutty aroma. Next is [Peru] Ceviche. Marinated fresh seafood with a squeeze of lime. Light, refreshing, and highly recommended! Kura Sushi excels at seafood, so fish dishes never miss. [Lithuania] Šaltibarščiai A chilled soup where beetroot’s sweet‑tart flavour shines. Oh, so it was a soup! It’s bright pink, yet surprisingly light on the palate. Can’t believe you can eat this at Kura Sushi. [Qatar] Luqaimat Doughnuts flavoured with ginger and cardamom. Tastes similar to Okinawan sata‑andagi. Makes you crave a coffee! [United Arab Emirates] Pappa Roti A baked bun topped with coffee sauce. Looks crispy, but it’s actually chewy inside! Flavour is reminiscent of melon‑pan. [San Marino] Piadina A tortilla filled with prosciutto and veggies. A familiar taste that feels comforting. [Philippines] Chicken Adobo Home‑style chicken simmered in vinegar and soy sauce. Similar to Japanese teriyaki chicken. [Palau] Halo A coconut soup dessert with mochi inside. The coconut flavour really stands out. [Italy] Tagliata A classic steak dish finished with balsamic sauce. Melted cheese pairs perfectly with the meat. At Kura Sushi, return 5 plates and you get a Bikkura‑Pon! lottery spin. Win and you’ll snag limited‑edition goodies! On our memorable first try, the result is… A miss. All right, let’s keep eating! My parents go for salmon sushi while I attack the special menu. Burgers are standard fare, but I ordered one just in case. More international dishes arrive one after another. The table is packed in no time. And so colourful! [Slovakia] Cauliflower Nuggets [Norway] Salmon Carpaccio [Germany] Currywurst [United States] Hamburger [Indonesia] Kolak Labu [China] Mooncake [United Kingdom] Sunday Roast [Malaysia] Sambal Udang [South Korea] Ganjang Saewoo Malaysia’s Sambal Udang is like spicy shrimp in chilli sauce. Freshly fried prawns are springy and delicious! The UK’s Sunday Roast— a traditional dish eaten on Sundays. Roast beef covered in plenty of gravy. Simple yet tasty. South Korea’s Ganjang Saewoo— prawns marinated in a sweet‑spicy soy sauce. Germany’s Currywurst— tasty but not much different from what you’d get in Japan. Definitely try the real deal at the German Pavilion. Slovakia’s Cauliflower Nuggets— turning cauliflower into nuggets is such a novel idea! Cheese sauce coats them—amazing. Norway’s Salmon Carpaccio— a must for salmon lovers. A flavour I’m already familiar with. Indonesia’s Kolak Labu— a healthy dessert of pumpkin in coconut cream. Sweet but guilt‑free. America’s Hamburger— a staple everyone’s tried at least once. Not as junky as McDonald’s—gentler in taste. China’s Mooncake— a classic treat from any trip to China. Stuffed full of sweet filling—so satisfying. I’m getting full, so I’ll wrap up with mostly desserts. [Saudi Arabia] Umm Ali [Chile] Erizos [Uruguay] Alfajores [Guatemala] Guatemalan Coffee Jelly [Brazil] Pão de Queijo [Hungary] Roast Duck with Truffle Sauce Roast duck with cabbage pickle on the side. This was today’s No. 1 hit dish. A lavish plate: duck and cheese on crackers. Hearty and perfectly balanced. Brazil’s Pão de Queijo— cheese‑packed bread! The chewy texture is addictive. Chile’s Erizos— “Erizos” means sea urchin in Spanish. Loaded with uni—such a bargain! Guatemala’s Coffee Jelly— one of the best desserts I tried today! Generous whipped cream pairs perfectly with the jelly. Saudi Arabia’s Umm Ali— a traditional sweet of milk cream topped with pistachios and dried fruit. Also piled high with whipped cream—so satisfying! When you order hot coffee it arrives in a secure box. It rides the belt yet doesn’t spill—amazing. Uruguay’s Alfajores— cookies sandwiched with caramel. My personal No. 1 among the sweets! Before I knew it, the plates had piled up. With this many, I’m bound to win a prize! A groundbreaking system that makes cleaning up fun. But reality isn’t so kind… …… Huh? Yes! Finally got a win! Capsule secured! Now, what’s inside…? The suspense of opening it is the best part! Oh, a mini sushi figure! It’s super cute. I got a salmon‑sushi capsule toy. There are 7 different sushi figures—gotta collect ’em all! Checkout is self‑service. Wait—14,090 yen total!? That turned into a luxurious lunch. Expo‑original goods are also on sale! Registers are self‑serve and accept credit cards and QR payments. Note that cash is not accepted inside the Osaka Expo. After paying we received an “Ado original clear file.” It’s an exclusive you can only get here. Next time I’ll report on the various country pavilions! Thanks for watching until the end.

  1. 万博へいくとき、くら寿司行こうか考えていました😊色々知れてよかったです🎉ありがとうございます❗パビリオンも楽しみです❤

  2. Hello Itsuka-san!💚
    Fortunately, the portions were small.
I think, perhaps, one day of not eating should balance you out!🤣
Looking forward to the next part.

  8. 2 hours just to get in?? There's literally no store/event/anything in the world I'd wait 2 hours in a line for. Not even if everything was free inside.
