A great video showing much but left out equally as much. The length of the video could be doubled to see the whole state. California as a state has more variety of land and geography than any other single state and perhaps more than any other land of its size in the world. So many completely different environments in one state. I have been to every state in the union, and none have as much variety. Not saying it's the best or most beautiful, Alaska, Montana, Vermont, Colorado and others come to mind, that is up to you to decide but variety, no others compare. It has the most National Parks of any state and they all are completely different from each other. Put it on your list with all the others to visit.

I was born, raised, lived in California 70 yrs. My grandparents all four both raised died California, my parents both Californian, our children, grandchildren all live in Calif.. Great state, we have incredible Pacific beaches, fabulous forest within 2 hours from most areas… Gold mining, hiking, shopping, camping, horseback riding, races, theater, Amazing golden gate bridge, jump on a whale watching tour, best seafood, Italian, Chinese, every type of food in San Francisco, best restaurants..
