キュンパス 東京→松本→長野→東京 一筆書きで楽しむ長野日帰り旅行
We will take a day trip using the Kyun Pass, which is sold for a limited time by JR East. This time, I took a day trip from Tokyo to Matsumoto City and Nagano City in Nagano Prefecture. Even during regular periods, you can purchase a train ticket and a limited express ticket and make a similar itinerary. Please enjoy until the end. good morning. Tokyo Station early in the morning. The time was 6:04am. I’m sleepy. This time it’s a one-day trip that starts from Tokyo Station, heads to Nagano Prefecture, and returns to Tokyo Station. Start your Nagano day trip! I came here to buy an ekiben for breakfast. First, take the Chuo Line rapid train to Shinjuku Station. At the time of the photo shoot (March 2025), I rode the Chuo Line Rapid Green Car because it was free during the trial period. There seems to be a power source at the knee rest. convenience. Arrived at Shinjuku Station in about 15 minutes. I will take the limited express Azusa 1 departing at 7:00. It takes 2 hours and 38 minutes by limited express from Shinjuku Station to Matsumoto Station. It’s been a while since I rode the limited express Azusa. The limited express Azusa stops at Tachikawa, Hachioji, Otsuki, Kofu, Nirasaki, Kobuchizawa, Chino, Kamisuwa, Okaya, Shiojiri, and the final destination Matsumoto. I’ll get on the ride right away. Introducing the bento I bought at Tokyo Station. First of all, this is the tuna salmon roe bento. OPEN! A luxurious bento packed with tuna and salmon roe. Stuff your cheeks with tuna and salmon roe. Delicious 😋 Shrimp Senryo Chirashi is a very popular lunch box. There was a postcard inside. This bento is rich in variety, with items such as eel, yellowfin tuna, shrimp, squid, and thick fried egg. Wow! Looks delicious! It’s hearty with thick fried eggs and shrimp. On-board sales are available on the Limited Express Azusa. Unfortunately, they didn’t sell hot coffee. I bought an apple cheese tart cake. And strawberry ice cream. This ice cream is the same as the one purchased on the Tohoku Shinkansen. As expected, it’s solid. lol This is my first time eating this cheesecake. It’s a recommended product and it’s delicious. The ice cream is now ready to eat. Ice cream is also delicious. The area visible from the train window is a famous railway filming location. The Kofu Basin came into view. The mountains of the Southern Alps can be seen in the distance. It’s almost Matsumoto station. Arrived at Matsumoto Station. Exit the ticket gate and head out for sightseeing in Matsumoto. Head to Matsumoto Castle. I came to the Chitose Bridge on the way. Nawate Dori shopping street is right next door. Let’s stop by later. A shop with an exterior modeled after Matsumoto Castle. interesting. Daimyokoji well. It is said to be one of the top 100 famous waters of the Heisei era. We arrived at Matsumoto Castle. It’s a very splendid castle. There are also photo spots. Now, enter the castle! This small window-like thing is called “Ishiotoshi,” a device used to drop stones or fire bows or guns to repel enemy invasions. Old guns were also on display. What you can see over there is a folding screen painting (reproduction) of the Battle of Nagashino. There are many steep stairs inside Matsumoto Castle, so it’s best to visit while your legs and knees are still strong. If you look at the attic of the castle tower, it is said that it is thanks to the deity of the twenty-sixth night that is enshrined above that there were no disasters such as fires. Matsumoto Castle is one of the national treasure castles. The National Treasure Designation Book is also proudly displayed. A view of Matsumoto city from the castle tower. Matsumoto Castle was expanded during the Edo period… The castle tower of Matsumoto Castle is thought to have been built in 1593-4, making it one of Japan’s oldest castles. This decorative window was made during the Edo period. Gun ammunition was also on display. The Tsukimi Yagura was built for the third Shogun of the Edo period, Tokugawa Iemitsu. The view from here certainly looks nice… After the tour, we left Matsumoto Castle. By the way, the admission fee to Matsumoto Castle is 1,300 yen (God ticket/same-day ticket) .The duck in the moat is cute. I came to Nawate Dori shopping street. About 5 minutes walk from Matsumoto Castle. Nawate Dori Shopping Street is an attractive street with a quaint atmosphere. It’s fun just walking around. We will stop by and worship at Yohashira Shrine. The street is lined with general stores, craft shops, and candy stores. There is also a unique monument with a frog motif here. This is Kaeru Daimyojin, an outdated Western restaurant Okinado 2-4-10 Chuo, Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture Business hours 11:00-15:30, 17:30-21:00 Closed 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, December 29th-31st Click here for the menu. We had lunch at a Western restaurant that received high reviews. I ordered a stewed hamburger steak for 1,600 yen with a nice aroma😊 and Bolga rice for 1,550 yen. (Omelet rice, hayashi, chicken cutlet) These also have a nice aroma that whets the appetite. Comes with soup. I’ll have a hamburger right away. Omelet rice looks delicious~ Definitely delicious. Dip the chicken cutlet in the hayashi roux. Omelet rice is delicious on its own, and adding roux is great as you can enjoy the change in taste. This is a recommended item. The chicken cutlet was crispy and had just the right balance. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. The interior of the store had a quaint interior that gave you a sense of history. It has been open for a long time, so famous people seem to have eaten here. I came to Nakamachi. It is a street with a beautiful scenery lined with storehouses. This has a nice atmosphere. This cityscape is worth seeing. I think it will be difficult to preserve this streetscape. This billboard is wonderful. It’s interesting to see how Baumkuchen is spinning. Kazaguruma pie & cafe 5F, 2-3-13 Chuo, Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture Business hours: 11:00 – 17:00 Closed: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays Buy apple pie here and take it home. I would have liked to have tea here if I had time. I’m back at Matsumoto Station. By the way, this is the old Matsumoto Station nameplate. Go through the ticket gate and head towards the platform. Board the limited express “Shinano”. From Matsumoto Station, head to Nagano Station. Get on the non-reserved seat. I’m glad there were empty seats. We departed from Matsumoto Station. I’ll have the apple pie I bought earlier. amazing. Full of apples. I’ll take it. You can feel the sweetness and texture of the apple, and it’s very delicious! Recommended. I came near Obasute Station, one of Japan’s three major train windows. You can see rice terraces. A view of Zenkojidaira, with Chikuma City and Nagano City in the background, and the mountain range surrounding them. The 54 minute train journey is over. Arrived at Nagano Station. By the way, the limited express Shina is a limited express train that connects Nagoya Station and Nagano Station via the Chuo Main Line and Shinonoi Line. On the Shinonoi Line, you can also enjoy the scenic view of Neza-no-toko, making for an enjoyable train journey. While walking through the streets of Nagano City, head towards Zenkoji Temple. I came to Zenkoji-mae by walking from the station, but since it’s quite a walk, I recommend taking the bus. Visiting hours are 4:30-16:30 in summer and 6:00-16:00 in winter. Arrived at Niomon. A little more. Passing through Nakamise Street, I rush to the main hall. Let’s stop by the souvenir shop later. Arrived at Sanmon. The main hall is right in front of you. Arrived at the main hall. I will pray. I drew a fortune. Yay! This is Daikichi. By the way, the luck ranking is as follows. I’ve never drawn Hankichi and Suekokichi. There is a beams shop attached to the Zenkoji Temple Gift Office. Goods made in collaboration with BEAMS and Zenkoji were on sale. I bought a pass. I’m back on Nakamise Street. I came to Sumikko Gurashido. Inside the store, you will be greeted by very cute characters. I bought a magnet as a souvenir. Tsuchimo Bussan Store 483 Motozen-cho, Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture Business hours 09:00 – 17:00 I would like to purchase Nagano’s specialty oyaki here. It seems like a lot of famous people come here. Wait your turn while watching the oyaki being grilled. This kind of thing is fun, isn’t it? The most popular is green onion miso cheese. I bought this and chili oil Nozawana. I’m looking forward to eating it later 😊 This cat is too cute. I came to the main branch of Yawataya Isogoro, a shichimi chili pepper shop. Purchased shichimi chili pepper. This is a chair designed like a shichimi chili pepper container. I want it at home! I’m back at Nagano station. Shinshu Soba no Kusabue MIDORI Store 1 22-6 Minamichitose, Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture MIDORI Nagano 3F Business hours 11:00-15:00, 17:00-22:00 Closed January 1st When you think of Nagano, it’s definitely Shinshu soba. I love Kusabue soba, so I really wanted to try it. The menu includes hot soba, cold soba, tempura, and drinks such as alcohol and soft drinks (by the way, there seems to be an English menu as well) .I ordered Mori Soba. There are more soba noodles here than other shops. Please be careful when ordering. I additionally ordered walnut sauce. I made the soba a medium serving. Regular size is 400g, medium size is 600g. This is my first time having walnut sauce. Dissolve the walnut sauce in the soba soup… The walnut sauce has the aroma and richness of walnuts, and it’s delicious. I think it would be a good idea to try the walnut sauce when you come to Nagano. Enjoy soba noodles with regular soba soup. Enjoy the different tastes by eating soba alternately with walnut sauce. The soba noodles were delicious. Thank you for the meal. I’m heading to the Shinkansen station. Board the Asama train bound for Tokyo at 19:09. As Asama has many stops, the ride takes 1 hour and 43 minutes. I will ride the Shinkansen. Departing from Nagano Station. On the way, it stops at Karuizawa Station. This chime is from a train owned by JR West. Arrived at Tokyo Station in no time. The design of the Hokuriku Shinkansen is really cool. 😊When you exit the Shinkansen transfer ticket gate, you will also exit the conventional line ticket gate. It was a fulfilling day trip! Introducing the oyaki that I purchased. Chili oil Nozawana was a spicy yaki. The combination of miso and creamy cheese was delicious. Thank you for watching until the end.
