Welcome to Rikugien Garden, a stunning example of Edo-period Japanese landscape design. Today, we’ll explore the serene paths and enjoy a traditional bowl of Sansai Udon. Rikugien’s winding trails offer picturesque views of lush greenery and seasonal colors. We’re beginning at Deshio-no-Minato, a perfect spot to capture lake reflections and pine trees. Each viewpoint here reveals natural elements carefully arranged to create harmony and beauty. After a peaceful walk, we arrive at the garden’s rest area to try Sansai Udon. This cozy noodle dish is made with mountain vegetables, adding a fresh taste to the broth. The delicate flavors of the Sansai Udon perfectly complement the garden’s calming atmosphere. Refreshed, we continue along the lakeside, admiring the intricate stone arrangements. Rikugien’s paths guide us to iconic spots like the Togetsukyo Bridge, made of natural stones. The bridge reflects beautifully in the water, adding a sense of tranquility to the scene. With every step, Rikugien reveals its quiet charm, combining history, art, and nature. Thank you for joining me in this serene escape in the heart of Tokyo.

Exploring Rikugien Garden in Tokyo: Japanese Udon, Lake Views, and Tranquil Beauty

Blogger Post:

Today, I’ll share my journey through Tokyo’s enchanting Rikugien Garden, a traditional Japanese landscape garden celebrated for its beautiful natural scenery. Starting from Deshio-no-minato, I made my way clockwise along the garden paths, admiring the reflections in the lake and the charming views of the Togetsukyo stone bridge.

A special highlight was my stop at the rest area, where I enjoyed a warm bowl of Sansai Udon—noodles served with mountain vegetables. The gentle flavors of the soup offered the perfect way to rest after a long walk. The garden paths are lined with pine trees, beautiful stones, and scenic bridges, leading toward the garden’s exit.

After exiting Rikugien, I took a leisurely walk through the calm streets of Komagome, capturing the serene ambiance of this lesser-known Tokyo neighborhood.

Adult Beginner Piano Progress đŸŽč from October 2023

I started to read music sheet and practice piano from October 2023. Before that, I play chord on piano but did not know how to read music sheet and play piano. It’s my record of piano journey in order to motivate beginners like me.

Still it’s impossible to play smoothly, but I continue my piano journey. 🙂
