塩船観音寺「つつじまつり 2025」東京都青梅市塩船194
大化年間に八百比丘尼によって開山された古刹。茅葺きの仁王門や本堂は国指定の重要文化財。4月中旬から5月中旬に境内を取り囲むようにして約1万7千本のツツジが次々と咲き、特に5月3日の火渡り荒行には大勢の参拝客が訪れます。（撮影：2025年4月29日）
Shiofune Kannonji Temple “Azalea Festival 2025” 194 Shiofune, Ome City, Tokyo
An ancient temple founded by Yaobikuni during the Taika era. The thatched Niomon Gate and main hall are nationally designated Important Cultural Properties. From mid-April to mid-May, about 17,000 azaleas bloom one after another, surrounding the temple grounds, and many worshippers visit the temple during the fire-walking ritual on May 3rd.
